Hi!

So, before we really get into it, I just wanted to issue a bigger, clearer warning that you can't avoid because I know a lot of you didn't actually read the last chapter of the last book, and even more skipped over the notes and disclaimers at the end of the intro chapter of this book. (Don't deny it. It's okay. My eyes skip around, too.)

This book-- and I really need you to listen to me when I say this-- will have a much darker tone than the last book!

It will be like Mighty Ducks meets Gossip Girl meets HBO's Succession.

There will be mentions of drugs, sex (though no smut), and violence.

The teenagers in this book will be accurate in that they are messy! They make mistakes! They make so many mistakes! You're allowed to be mad at them, and you're allowed to be flabbergasted by their decisions, but you're not allowed to be mad at me. (Because I warned you.)

I need you guys to trust me to get every character (and their relationships) through the highs and lows of this story.
