"No thanks maybe another time thanks though." I then started walking home thinking about what just happened. I saw the dx and ran in and luckily soda and Steve didn't see me. I looked in the bathroom mirror to see how many bruises I had how much blood was showing. I guess somehow I did get punched in the head you can see the blood and the deep cut somehow I still didn't feel it. I had a lot of bruises Some Cuts on my arm but they weren't too bad. I got a few napkins and wet them and started trying to get as much blood as I could off to at least try to make it not look that bad. I walked right back out with the boys still in the garage, to be honest I was quite proud of myself I've never been in a fight before, this was my first one I pretty much won against three girls, to be honest I still don't know how that happened it been a little easier if the boys showed me but nope I had to figure it out. I got home but before I open the door I take deep breaths not knowing yet knowing what was going to happen I opened the door and walked in to see Darry in his lazy boy laughing along with two bit and Dallas on the couch. The first one that notice was two bit and he already had a wise joke to crack but I didn't listen since I was just focus on what Darry was about to do. He slowly got up gave me the scariest Glair yet he looked pretty worried.
"Chris? Chris are you okay what the hell happened can you tell me what happened?" He said grabbing my face looking at it. He accidentally touched one of the briuses on my jaw. I let out a moan that pretty much almost sounded like a soft sigh. He immedietly let go. Two bit and Dall krept up behind him looking as well.
"Dall go get me a few ice packs Two Bit go get the first-aid kit please"
He pulled up a seat told me to sit down.
"What the hell happened?"
"I was walking around and I saw this new store open I was looking around and I actually made eye contact with somebody she asked me what was I looking at I simply said nothing all sudden some girl grabbed me by my hair another punched me and I was stuck in an Alleyway against three girls they all started ganging up on me but somehow I actually won. They Didn't really gang up on me it was more one at a time but I was able to defend myself eventually they stopped and saw that I can fight and asked me to be in their gang and-"
"Wait a minute wait a minute!" He said now almost frustrated grabbing things out of the first aid kit as Dallas walked out of the kitchen putting ice packs on the table.
"They asked you to be part of their gang?!" Darry asked annoyed in disbelief.
"Ya but-"
"What did you say?!" Two bit asked like it was story time in kindergarten.
"Put this on your face"Darry said giving me a vegtable frozen bags. I did as i was told and continued.
" well I told him no because they kept saying they thought I was easy bait and I wasn't so they didn't want to mess with me so I didn't want to be in a gang with somebody that would just do that to other people just for the kicks of it and they don't even look for a challenge but I said no and he kept trying to get me to stick with them they said I'm always welcome but I don't want to be they told me I should get a tattoo-"
"Wait what oh no you didn't!" Darry said looking on my arms for one. Dall you could tell was trying not to laugh Two Bit was of course confused.
"Relax Darry I didn't"
"Okay kid look whoever it was im going to get them just tell me what gang they were in I know everybody"
"Yeah I don't think you really can do anything about this one"
"And why not"
"Because it's all girls I mean yeah I believe that in self-defense girls should get knocked out a few times but you can't just randomly go up and hit a girl" I said now seeing Darry with a needle and thread coming towards my head.
" Oh no you're not there's no way you're touching my head with that needle your nuts!"
" Chris, Now just hold still so we can get this over with I get it I haven't done this in a while I could barely see the stupid needle but you need to get this done or else it could get infected you could end up in the hospital!" He said trying to get the thread through the needle.
"It's okay to Darry let it get infected that's fine"
" Just sit still"
All of a sudden I see Steve and soda walking in and then luckily it distracts Darry
"Why are you already home from work?"
"Buck said he could cover the rest of the day and dont worry he'll pay me for today as well but he has to do some work there anyways I guess "
"All right well only do this real quick she won't sit still "
I gave him a strange look then realize what he was going to have them do he's going to have them hold me down so he could just Stitch It Up
"Help you with what?" Steve asked taking off his DX shirt.
"She needs stitches-" he quickly grabbed my arm before i could go run to my room then continued
"And refuses to get them so help me hold her still"
"No way i dont need them im fine darry now please let me go" i said still trying to pull away but he had a firm grip on me.
"Oh your funny you think im gonna let everything go back to normal after all this?! No im not trust me im not gonna let you be a criminal! Now you are gonna keep the door open a minumum of 3 inches!" Sodapop and Steve looked really confused.
" You can't just keep me here like I'm some prisoner besides I didn't do anything" Sodapop then grabbed me by my arms and pulled me to the chair but i kept moving so pinned they me to the couch as soda held my arms.
"Ow Soda stop your hurting me!" I yelled. My arms are crossed like an X and are now being held along my waste and soda put full force on my wrist
"Then stop moving" he told me
"Darry please stop im sorry ok i didn't do anything though!"
" Chrissy this isn't a punishment im just trying to help you not die!" He said calmly cleaning the needle. I freaked out everytime he got closer.
"Look i get you didnt do anything but after that they are gonna start inviting you out and then your gonna start sneaking out" he said now making sure the thread is long enough.
"Wait Chrissy has friends? Thats good right?" Soda giggled
"Wrong some girl gang wants her to run with them"
"Ill tell u guys later- Darry when was the last time you did this?"
"2 or 3 years ago"

He then pushed my hair back and started putting the needle in Dally came back in with a wooden spoon and told me to bite on it. As Darry kept goin he started talking to me.
" look I know your getting older and thats fine thats great I guess but you gotta remeber were your older brothers and we care about you and its a little difficult seeing you go out into the real world and meeting people because remeber you were our introvert thats was an antisocial little butterfly that hated people and to be honest I kinda miss that" he told. My eyes have been closed but i finally opened them. Darry nver really talked to me about this or had ever really told me he cared so not gonna lie it felt akward and kinda weird.
"I think we all do" Sodapop told me giggling.

"I miss you being home and playing bored games with us and always getting a bunch of ice cream almost finishing the whole tub.. Now it's just like your always gone and I dont want you to grow up to fast and get on the wrong crowd"
"Ya i mean look at you man you just got jumped and are now practically running in your own gang now i mean you gotta remeber man you were in this gang first before you even relized it" Dall told me.
"Ive seen a lot of shit go wrong and yes i do mean shit and i just now need to keep you safe so if you please dont mind for the sake of your poor old brother please keep the damn door open 3 inches" he said now finishing up the stitches. I nodded in agreement and got up to look in the bathroom it felt sore and to be honest my whole body started to feel sore steve grabbed the vegetable bag and slammed it on my face. Uh sun of a bitch!
"Owww thank you steve for that!" I said annoyed.
"Dosent look bad makes you look tuff actually" Soda told me with a smirk now shaking my hair making me laugh it was weird hearing that from him but nice
