I woke up to the door knocking. I slowly got up trying not to wake Ponyboy up but of course he woke up. "Who is it."   "I dont know but dont answer it im gonna get a shirt on." I said groggy. I wasnt feelin to hot but I could walk pretty darn well. I walked back and opened it rubbing my eyes it was about 8 in the morning. "Hello?"

"Hi is Ponyboy Curtis here"

"Umm yes"

"Good im Robert hall with Tulsa boys home we are here to pick up Ponyboy Curtis"

"Im sorry there must be a mistake. Let me get my brothers"

I ran into Darry's room "Darry dont let them take him please dont" I begged

"What are you talking about?" he said getting up

"Social workers are here to take Ponyboy away" I whinned

he quickly got up put a black shirt on and jeans and I went to Soda and told him what happened then Dally walked out of my room. They all walked to the door curious of whats going on. They explained to us that the socs were jumped by the greasers Ponyboy and Dash. 

"What are you talking about they jumped us. We did it in self defense. They hurt us really bad you cant just here one side of the story and if your gonna take one of us then take me and leave Ponyboy out of this" I told him scared.

"They said only Ponyboy hurt them and Dashiel also got involved but also pulled Ponyboy off so we decided not to take you but that this is not a good placement for Ponyboy Curtis"

They tried grabbing Ponyboy but I stepped in front of them and said "Your not taking my kid brother"

"On what grounds" He smirked "on the grounds of the east side of Tulsa!" I scolded as Dally hel me tight by my shoulders.

"Dash they have the right to take him" Darry said upset giving me a paper from the city. No there not taking my kid brother like that.

"No you cant take him." I said pushing them out the door.

"Look you can do this the easy way or the hard way. Your already making it harder then this has to be"

"NO your not taking him from me!" I yelled crying as they grabbed him tight almost tackling him.

"Oh ya watch me"

"You dont understand he needs me im the only one who can under stand him!"

"Is this what he needs to be with brothers and friends that teach him how to fight and be some hood!"

"She told you they jumped him its not his fault just please dont do this" Soda said on the verge of crying with his voice cracking.

"I have to I have no choice"

"You dont know what your doing he needs us."

It seems like you need him more then he needs you!" he yelled while the 2 others tried getting him in the car "Dasshh dont let them take me from you. Please help someone anyone" Pony yelled crying hard. 

"Look this wasn't there fault man!" Dallas yelled. Bye then they started walking away and i'm not gonna leave them with out a fight. I ran out and my brothers and boyfriend ran out side unknowing of what I was gonna do. They got in and started leaving I grabbed a long stick hitting there car witch scratched the car then I got a brick and I have a good aim and everyone knows it. I through the rock as hard as I could but barley missed because Dally tried getting it out of my hand but wasnt quick enough. I turned around and hugged him crying. "I know babe I know im sorry"

I ran inside sobbing. I started thinking what did he do wrong why did he have to go. Why did they have to take one of the most important thing from me. Why'd they take my best friend away?
