I. Blood Red Lips, Titans AU, Jason Todd ❛Robin❜ x Daniela Rivera ❛Speedy❜

quick rundown:
after recently replacing green arrow's protégé and taking on the mantle of speedy, daniela rivera's life is finally starting to change for the better. however, everything comes crashing down when gotham duo batman and robin show up to star city following the trail of a murderous case. jason todd has a knack for fucking things up. and with daniela's mentor oliver acting suspiciously, her past knocking at her door, and green arrow's previous protégé making his return, daniela at least knows she has one thing in common with the legendary boy wonder: she also has a knack for fucking things up.

notes: blood red lips is (i think) one of the first stories i ever posted on this account. it came to have 8 chapters, and i wasn't even gonna draft it permanently. i took it down because i wanted to edit it and then post it back up (which i was going to do) but i quickly lost interest and frankly? i could not fix my shitty 2018 writing. did i like the overall idea? yes. but was the main character so terribly inconsistent and lacked depth and was just snark in a bottle? also yes.

tbh, the only thing i was really looking forward to was daniela meeting roy harper (the former speedy) and go from hating each other to reluctant allies to even more reluctant mentor and mentee. other than that... daniela was clearly a lesbian i was writing as bi. jason and her had NO chemistry WHATSOEVER. if i could rewrite it... give daniela a girlfriend in crime 😌

II. Red As Dawn, Money Heist Korea: Joint Economic Area, ❛Berlin❜ Song Jung-ho x ❛Vienna❜ Kang Ryu-ji

cast: song hye-kyo as kang ryu-jin, song joong-ki as mun seo-jun, kim yoo-jung as kang haru

quick rundown:
growing up on the wrong side of the tracks, kang ryu-jin has never had anything handed to her. which is exactly why it surprises her when a man who goes by the professor hands her a job offer for a heist of unprecedented proportions. enter the unified korean mint, print her own money, and leave with four trillion won in her hands. it's a once in a lifetime opportunity; one ryu-jin knows she would be an idiot to let slip past her fingers. but a hundred and twenty-eight hours is a long time to be stuck inside a building with a group of criminals. thieves and hostages, mistrusts and missteps; only one thing is clear— all it takes is a single mistake to make this paper house crumble.

notes: in all honesty? i liked this story so much omg. i had always wanted to make a la casa de papel fic, but i had so many issues with the original show and the way it tackled certain sensitive topics i avoided it altogether. enter: a korean remake of money heist, applying its own twist to it. needless to say, i loved it. the only issue? i was (apparently) the only one who did 😭. after netflix cancelled the show, my interest started to decline, plus the fact that no one ever watched it nor knew of it :( i also severely overestimated my knowledge of korean culture + since the show deals with the topic of north korean defectors, i thought i could research the topic and implement it, but it kept feeling wrong to me. it started to make me feel very uncomfortable whenever i realized that i was depicting a reality that north korean defectors face in real life, for a fanfiction? i ended up shelving it.

i still have a few halfway written scenes i wish i could've gotten to, but anyways. vienna basically played a role of a hostage while being a part of the gang, so basically being their man on the inside so she could prevent riots and issues with the hostages. plus, can i just say? her tension with berlin? (also let me just clarify: the KOREAN VERSION'S berlin. the spanish version's berlin can rot)

anyways. rip berlin and vienna. you two would've loved to see the world burn. <3

III. Hell or Highwater, Detroit: Become Human, Elliot Mercer x ❛Keva❜ KV-700

cast: cameron chapman as elliot mercer, *madison bailey as keva, dev patel as detective luke marley, anya taylor-joy as ada martínez, chris evans as miles denver, omar rudberg as alfie morales, dichen lachman as mira

quick rundown:
elliot mercer has been kidnapped by a deviant. at least, that's what all of the radio stations and news outlets of detroit are claiming. elliot mercer, son of successful tech entrepreneur and famous actress leander and daphne mercer. but here's the truth: elliot mercer has in fact not been kidnapped. one could even make the case that elliot is the one who has (accidentally) kidnapped his android, keva. the reality of the situation is that elliot is not a hostage, but a runaway. and while his plan for ditching his home has been successfully derailed by a glorified babysitter made of wires and metal plates, elliot has never been one to give up easily. but things in detroit are changing... and elliot's escape might not be as seamless as he originally planned.

notes: okay, this story? this story i'm still so conflicted by. the only way i can explain it is that hell or highwater is the type of fic i would love to read, but not so much write. i fell victim to the fever of dbh (i blame latte-to-go and her amazing connor fic for this) but i didn't think it through as i was planning it. maybe i'll pick it up again, maybe i won't. i have a few scenes thought out, but the plot would only rarely touch on the actual main characters of dbh, so i would have to pretty much make it my own original timeline of events. needless to say, this fic requires a LOT of time, so for the time being i'll be content with adding pins to the board of this story :-)

III. Fragments, ZOMBIES 2,
Wyatt Lykensen x Scout

cast: brittany o'grady as scout, anthony turpel as soren, brianne tju as sunny

quick rundown:
this story was so much of a mess i'm not even gonna TRY to write a coherent plot summary. basically, scout, soren and sunny are sirens that stumble upon a legend engraved into the walls of an underwater cave. it basically detailed the story of a moonstone necklace capable of granting them what they desired most (which is kept intentionally vague). the problem? the moonstone can only be found on land.... which then sets them on a journey in which they all go to seabrook (having no idea how humans act) to try and find it. hijinks ensue.

notes:
my original idea (and since i won't be posting it again i'll just spoil it) was that the sirens were actually humans who drowned at sea, and in order to become sirens, had to forgo the memories of their human lives. the necklace scout and the crew are looking for is meant to be the only item capable of restoring the memories of their human lives. it was also gonna be revealed that since they couldn't remember their real names, they simply give names to each other. scout was given her name because of her habit of going around coral reefs and underwater caves scouting for shiny things, soren because he's the fastest swimmer arounds and "soars" above them, and sunny because of her sunny personality (those that read the story might remember that sunny was anything BUT that). also!!! they all follow the ZOMBIES tradition of having their names start with the first letter of their species.

there were gonna be many scenes in which they just..... didn't understand how human conventions worked. also!!! if i could make one major change to this fic.... probably just make scout to be a guy. idk. probably have him be played by the guy that played cam cameron in tsitp.

i think this fic was just me coping with finishing reading one of my favorite webtoons of all time, siren's lament. i drew a lot of inspo from it and just... did not care that much about ZOMBIES as a whole. kinda just used it as a vessel. so yeah. now it doesn't exist (and never will) :)

IV. Pretty Little Liar, Scream 6,
Ethan Landry x Evie Hartley x Javi Montero

cast: chandler kinney as evie hartley, xolo maridueña as javi montero, natasha liu bordizzo as sienna liu, jack champion as ethan landry

quick rundown:
this is just your average scream fic. evie hartley is a criminology student who joins the friend group alongside her ex-boyfriend-now-friend javier montero. ghostface is out for blood...... and apparently has some twisted fascination with evie and her family history.

notes:
i'm not even gonna try to write a compelling summary. but yeah. fuck the scream franchise <3

basically, this started out as an ethan landry fic with javier just being there to make ethan jealous but i made the mistake of casting xolo maridueña as javi...... and cmon. i mean. it's xolo maridueña. so, basically javi and evie were pretty close friends before dating, so even though there's an awkwardness there, they still care a lot about each other!!! ghostface kinda uses that against them on multiple occasions (i.e: making her believe he killed javi). ethan and evie would grow closer, and evie would pretty much start developing feelings for him (without knowing he's ghostface) to which javi just tries to be as supportive as he can because he really just wants to see her happy!!!! still hurts a lot though cause uh oh?? javi's starting to realize he still has feelings for her. oh yeah. and ghostface and stuff.

this wasn't really a compelling story, but was more of a thing i needed to get out of my system, hence why it no longer exists (that's a recurring pattern in case u couldn't tell). anyways. once again, fuck the scream franchise. hope it rots along with spyglass <3

V. Generation Loss, Gen V,
Evaluna Mareno x Jordan Li

cast: danna paola as evaluna mareno, rudy pankow as ethan "dawes" dawson, derek luh & london thor as jordan li

quick rundown:
if evaluna mareno is certain of one thing, it is that she will make it to the seven. her path is paved with hard earned perfection— no distractions, no sacrifices, no mistakes. she will make it to the seven.

and everything goes according to plan, up until golden boy explodes and leaves her in a puddle of his own blood and flesh.

the rankings are changing, and the number one spot is free for the taking. eve is more than ready to claim what's rightfully hers. but the path to achieve all she's worked for is starting to show cracks than run deeper than she thought. it's too bad the one person that seems to understand is jordan li— her long-time rival, and her competition for the top spot.

notes:
okay!!!!! first off, evaluna is pretty much just an academic weapon turned academic victim & i started writing her around the time of my exams when stress was at an all time high. was i projecting? yeah. maybe. but eve (yes, her nickname is also eve, i just wanna have a character named that) is a perfectionist to the point it is incredibly detrimental to her mental health. she's an overachiever as well, so she's both an ra and a ta, and will often sleep like two hours in hopes of getting shit done to keep her from falling down the ranks. her power is mimicry, except it comes with quite a few restrictions (cause otherwise its just too overpowered cmon):

1. — the power she's mimicking must manifest physically — aka, she can't mimic powers like telepathy.
2. — when she mimics powers, they're weaker than the original. the longer she keeps them without tapping back to the source, the weaker and more corroded they become.
3. — she can only mimic two powers at once. mimicking a third one means losing the first one (sort of like slots??).
4. — she needs to have physical contact with the person to copy their powers.

yeah i made it unnecessarily complicated. as per usual. but yeah!! eve has fought against this inferiority complex and trauma related to her powers, because she sees it as her never being as good as the original (ergo, always being second best). also i had toyed with the idea of her mom being the one to push this notion of perfection onto her since she was a kid..... and there was gonna be a scene in which eve revealed to the gang that as soon as her mom found out what her powers were, she left her hanging from a building waiting for someone from the seven to come and save her so eve could copy their powers. only issue? no one came the first two times. yeah.

there was also gonna be the character of dawes, who's basically the polar opposite of eve and her only real friend, i'd say? he's really laid back, and even though he could major in crimefighting, he just says that he's not suited for that type of lifestyle nor does he seek it. dawes' powers would basically be essentially becoming a ghost (invisibility + walking through walls) + being able to put people to sleep just by touching them. there was also gonna be this really bittersweet scene after some really emotionally intense moment in which it would be revealed eve has such a hard time sleeping that she often has to rely on dawes' powers and have him put her to sleep. ofc this is also misinterpreted by others, cause it means that dawes is often staying late inside eve's dorms or maybe even sleeps over. let's just say that jordan isn't pleased.

jordan & eve's relationship would've basically been academic rivals to lovers!! they're constantly trying to one up each other in a system that is actively fighting against them!!!! they're both seen as unmarketable on a larger scale (there would've been a scene in which someone from vought advises her to change her name from evaluna to evelyn cause evaluna sounds too "ethnic" and eve just feels like the world is crumbling around her because??? how is that the thing that matters???? after years of driving herself to near insanity to be perfect??? do they not see her relentless effort???? why is her name —her name— the thing that matters here??????)

but yeah!!!! i think this fic solely existed cause of my unhealthy obsession with jordan li. i still love them, i just think after the finale of gen v my urge to write a fic kind of.... disappeared?? i do go back to it every so often but i don't think i would be able to carry it out.

final thoughts:
you can probably tell that there's a recurring pattern when it comes to me abandoning projects.... yeah. the worst part is i actually have a folder for each of these drafts in my notes with dialogue & scenes i'm actually really proud of? i think i'll try to rework some into a fic of mine, but it's unlikely they'll ever see the light of day :( which is actually kinda sad, now that i think about it?

to end it on a brighter note, i'll probably be making a part two to this with drafts i do plan on posting!!
