even though i'm no longer as invested in the fandom, break my heart! has a really special place in my heart (ha) because its my only story in spanish that is currently up. i don't really love writing in spanish (especially because its my native language, and i feel
like writing in a second language gives you a sort of barrier against cringe and emotional damage) but i do love interacting with other hispanic accounts and creators :)

ahh seven devils. my pride and joy of 2023 <3 to say my hyperfixation on this fic has been going strong for a few months already would be an understatement. i don't think i've ever gotten as far on a fic as i have with this
one (you can probably tell i have a knack for abandoning works or drafting them) but!! i've gotten so far with seven devils it feels absolutely great :)) i still don't know whether i'll take it into the king of scars duology, but i'm pretty happy with the result thus far <3

fun fact!!!! i did the total count of seven devils by hand three times because i did not think i wrote that much. for reference, shadow and bone is 81,215 words long and siege and storm is 102,805 words long. and i'm barely starting out act two. (will i have to go back eventually and make edits to reduce the word count? probably!!!! but its all part of the process)

i do think that with seven devils i was so excited to get down and write that i didn't realize i wrote scenes that are very similar in different chapters :) oh well :)

full disclosure, i don't actually feel like i've written emerens that much, but i love my snarky and dramatic boy <3 i can't wait to delve deeper into his character and his backstory and just his reasons for being the way he is 🫣🫣 as for now? i just love writing dialogue for him LMAO
