Ryan hitched the backpack up his back, pulling the strings to tighten it slightly. "See, Gerard isn't the problem, Gerard is completely infatuated with Josh. Josh is the problem, he won't detach himself from Brendon and it's bothering me. It's like they've been best friends for years, yet I've never heard of Josh before last month." Ryan let out and aggravated sigh and he look at Spencer and Jon (who were holding hands and it made him desperately miss Dallon).

"Have you talked to Brendon about it?" Spencer said, stopping his walk at the end of the sidewalk, waiting for the cars to stop speeding past.

"Does it look like I've talked to Brendon?" Ryan sassed. Spencer raised an eyebrow and Ryan looked defeated. "No, I'm too scared. He'll probably get all defensive and say we're being all paranoid, but I'm just scared that if he hasn't already, he's going to cheat on us. And I know that when a person's poly, it's easier to do that sort of thing because boundaries are lower and you have a tendency to let your heart drift to casual affairs, that in the moment feel like everything, but in reality mean nothing." Ryan sucked in a harsh breath.

"Talk to him, Ry." Jon said, giving him a soft smile.

"Okay, but you better be on face time if anything goes wrong."
