Ryan scrolled through his Instagram, as bored as he could be. Dallon was spending the night at Brendon's, so Ryan was stuck in his house all alone on a Friday night. He shut his phone off and placed in beside him. He covered his face with his pillow and groaned.

Ping!

He moved the pillow atop the other one and grabbed his phone looking at the notification from: Gerard. Ryan found it strange that Gerard had texted him, since the two hadn't spoken since the whole fiasco with Josh and Brendon. He unlocked his phone and read the text.

Gerard: hey (:

Ryan: hey

Almost immediately, Gerard texted back.

Gerard: whats up?

Ryan: nothing I'm hella bored sitting alone at home.

Gerard: aye me too!

Gerard: we should hang out :-)

Ryan didn't answer right away. He thought for a moment. Wouldn't that be weird? His boyfriend's boyfriend's ex best friend boyfriend wanted to hang out. Ryan shrugged. 'It couldn't be that weird since... me and Gerard are friends.'

Ryan: what about Josh though?

Gerard: we broke up a month ago or so

Ryan: oh... I'm sorry... you can come over if you want to! (:

Ryan felt pity for the other boy, he had dealt with the same thing recently too.

Ryan heard a knock on the door, and he jumped off the couch to open it. "Hi!" Gerard greeted him with a flashy smile.

"Hi G," Ryan said, letting the redhead step in. "What do you wanna do? Play video games?" Ryan said, making his way to the couch. He was slightly uncomfortable, not ever having hung out with Gerard only.

"Sure," Gerard took a seat on the couch very closely towards Ryan, and he looked at Gerard skeptically.

"Wanna play fortnite?" He said, turning on his Xbox.

"Fuck yea!" Gerard said, laughing slightly, which caused Ryan to laugh too.

After a couple of hours of playing, the two were getting bored and sleepy. "I'm bored," Ryan said, yawning.

"Me too," Gerard said, stretching his arms out. They fell around Ryan's shoulders, and Ryan was a little taken aback. "What should we do?" He asked Ryan, smiling.

"I dunno, you're the guest, you pick," Ryan said sheepishly. He wasn't sure if he was imagining things or not, but it seemed as if Gerard was trying to flirt with him.

"Okay..." Gerard mumbled leaning towards Ryan.

'Oh shit oh shit oh shit he's going to kiss me.'
Ryan's mind started to panic as Gerard did lean in for a kiss. But Ryan didn't pull away or try and stop him in anyway. In fact, Ryan kissed back just as fiercely as the other boy started.
