Dallon flattened down an wrinkles in his black button up shirt and quickly checked his hair in the mirror while passing it. "Ready Ryro??" Dallon called, snatching his keys off of the kitchen table. Ryan came running out in a cute blue shirt, his hair falling neatly, but handsomely against his forehead.

"Yep!" He leaned up on his tipy-toes to give his slightly taller boyfriend a peck on the lips.

The two were going out for a much needed date night. Ryan grabbed Dallon's hand, lacing their fingers together. "You look really cute, Dal." He commented, checking him up and down. Dallon smiled kissing Ryan before pulling him out the door.

"Oooo Brendon likes this song!" Ryan said excitedly, turning it up. Dallon didn't respond to the comment, not taking much of it. Ryan hummed along to the melody, not yet knowing the words. Dallon glanced at his boyfriend and smiled slightly as they pulled into the restaurant's parking lot.

"It's adorable how you get excited over this song."

"You should see Brendon, when it comes on. He's literally the cutest ever." Dallon unbuckled his seat belt and opened the car door, not saying anything at all. Ryan followed his actions and they walked up to the restaurant together.

"I'll have water." Dallon said to the waiter with a smile. Ryan was typing away on his phone, so Dallon kicked his leg under the table to get him to look up.

"Hmm? Oh just a water please, thanks." Ryan said before diving back into his texts.

"Who are you talking to?" Dallon asked as the waiter disappeared.

"Brendon."

"Oh." Dallon said, playing with his napkin that was strewn across his lap. It was silent between the two of them until the waiter came back to take their orders. Ryan put his phone down, finally, to tell the waiter, and put his attention on his boyfriend. "Anything exciting happen at school today?" Dallon asked, putting an elbow on the table. Ryan shrugged.

"Eh, but did I tell you this story?"

"I don't know." Dallon responded. He was interested, getting slightly excited that the topic was turning away from Brendon.

"It was really funny. So I was sitting with Jon and Spencer at lunch, right?"

"Mhmmm." Dallon smiled slightly.

"And we were talking and my phone background is a picture of me and Brendon and-"

"What?" Dallon rolled his eyes and almost scoffed at the words that came out of his boyfriends mouth.

"What?" Ryan asked innocently.

"Brendon? Again? You won't shut up about him!"

"Oh, I just thought-"

"No, seriously, for the past few weeks it's been Brendon this, Brendon that, Brendon in every other sentence, you've had him over 24/7! Yea whatever you like him, but I though at least you would pay attention to your own boyfriend on our date! Brendon's not even here, and you won't shut up about him! Hell you're texting him and ignoring me while I'm right in front of you! Yea whatever we're trying to get in a poly relationship, but can't you just pay attention to me for once!?" Dallon said, absolutely blowing up in Ryan's face. Ryan opened his mouth to speak, but closed it immediately. They sat in an awkward silence, before the waiter saved both of them and placed their food on the table. They both indulged in the delicious plates in front of them, not bothering to speak for the rest of dinner.
