Brendon walked into the small Starbucks which reeked of coffee. He turned his head behind him to make sure he hadn't lost Ryan on the long journey from the car, and to his delight Ryan was padding along behind him. The two walked up to the counter and ordered three coffees. "Three? Why three?" The man behind the counter, Josh, said to Brendon. Ryan wrapped his arms around Brendon's waist from behind and put his head on his shoulder. "OOOO And I see Urie's got a boyfriend." Josh said, wiggling his eyebrows. Brendon rolled his eyes and Ryan smiled. 

"The third's for our boyfriend." Ryan said, answering Josh's question. Josh blinked obviously confused. Brendon rolled his eyes at Ryan this time and wiggled out of his arms. 

"I'll tell you later, J." Brendon said, grabbing the freshly brewed coffees. 

"No, I'm confused, what?" Josh pursued the subject.

"Polyamory!" Ryan said, extremely perky. Brendon rolled his eyes for the third time during their visit to Starbucks.Josh's face fell into one of understanding.

"Ah, okay, I know what that is." He said in a tone both Ryan and Brendon couldn't distinguish. It was exactly disgust, but it wasn't acceptance either. They both shrugged it off though, making their way back to the car where Dallon sat waiting for his coffee, untouched from the situation. Ryan and Brendon both made mental notes to bring this up later to Dallon, but for now they just sipped on their sugary drinks.
