Lute's pov

Me and lute cuddled down on the sofa as we put on a movie we've been looking forward to for weeks.

"Fuck yeah. Deadpool and wolverine. I've been dying to see this movie" Adam bounced about excitedly.

"Calm down honey. You're going to fall off the sofa" I giggled at my husband's goofiness. He eventually settled down and we put on the movie. We were halfway through the movie, eating popcorn and enjoying each other's company when-

"Mommy daddy" we jumped at the tiny voice behind us.

"Oh fuck!" Adam scrambled to pause the TV before we scarred our daughter for life!

"What are you doing up baby" I bent down to her level "me and daddy are watching an.. adult movie and we don't want you to see anything inappropriate"

"I don't want to go to bed" she folded her arms stubbornly.

"Young lady this isn't up for discussion" Adam said sternly "not march your butt up to bed and-"

"I don't want to go to school!" We froze at her teary face. Of course that's what's bothering her.

"Sweetie it's not going to be like last time" I said reassuringly "you're going to go in there, show up all the kids that were mean to you and make so many friends you won't know what to do with them" I tickled her stomach, making her giggle.

"And if they don't get better daddy will go in and deal with it personally" Adam cracked his knuckles.

"You're going to be just fine" I smiled at her "now get to bed and get a good night's sleep"

"Okay" a smile returned to her face as she ran off to bed.

"What a relief" I leaned against his chest, looking up at him "should we get back to the movie?"

"Of fucking course! Let's get back to some blood porn" he grabbed my arm and dragged me back to the sofa.
