Adams pov

"Come on slow poke" lute teased me as she ran up the hill with ease. I huffed breathlessly. Fuck I'm out of shape.

"You need help?" She held her hand out with a smile. I took her hand gratefully "maybe after this I should sign you up for a gym membership"

"Oh fuck you" I chuckled softly as she led me up the hill. Once we got to the top we were met with the most beautiful sunset.

"Fuck what a sight" a smile spread across my face.

"I know. You sure know how to pick them sir" she took my hand. I squeezed her hand with a smile.

"Well I'm starving. Let's have a picnic" I gestured to the picnic I set up beforehand.

She let out a gasp "sir it's beautiful"

"Enough of the sir shit" I said firmly "if we're going to have any kind of healthy relationship I'm going to need you to start calling me by my name"

"Ok Adam" she said my name reluctantly. I smiled, I really like how she says my name "now let's dig in"

We sat together enjoying those triangle sandwiches, freshly squeezed orange juice and chocolate cake. Yep I pulled out all the fucking stops!

"Your covered in chocolate adam" she giggled as she pulled out a cloth "talk about a messy eater" she started to clean my face when I grabbed her wrist "Adam?" I pulled her towards me and kissed her.

When we pulled away the two of us were laughing.

"You've always been so reckless" she giggled as she lay against my chest "I love you"

I teared up as I held her close. I guess I'm worthy of love after all.
