"Ren...." Rey's voice was low as she jerked her head towards the side gently. He didn't respond at first instead he watched intently as she moved her focus from him towards the horizon behind.

"Rey, look I was trying to kiss you okay? I know it's a funny thought, to think the infamous Kylo Ren would try to kiss his mission. Quite a stupid action on my part anyways, I should've known you didn't share the same feelings..."
Ren mumbled the words slowly.

She soon jerked her head back to face him, her eyes sharp.

"Ren listen to me!"

"What?"

"Duck! Goddammit!"

This time Ren didn't hesitate though a flash of hurt went across his face at her stern words. And in that very same moment he saw his life flash right before his eyes and during that moment he felt a tugging. Maybe he should finally give in.

"Ren!"

A shriek of pure horror filled his ears and suddenly he found himself able to open his dreary eyes.

"I thought I told you to duck!"

"I...did..."

"You obviously didn't, now come..."

Her voice drowned out from his head. The silent sounds of peace filling his head and drifting him off to bliss once again.

"Dang, why are you so heavy..."

Her voice seemed to be miles away and only quiet echo in his mind.

"Okay...this should be good...Ren!"

Ren jerked up, his eyes wide open but the world around him still blurry.

"I'm going to need you to take your shirt off."

At her words he couldn't help but smirk.

"Is this your way of flirting with me Rey?"

"No! You've been hit goddammit! Can't you see you're bleeding?"

"W-what?" Ren's gaze wandered down to his chest where a prominent increasing red blood stain soaked his shirt. "H-How?"

"You didn't duck in time I guess, now can you finally listen to me?"

"Sure."

Rey sighed in some sort of relief as he pulled off the tunic he was wearing slowly. She noticed his obvious wincing and pain at the gesture.

"So Rey what are you going to do now? Now that the infamous Kylo Ren is at your mercy?" He smirked and in response all he got was rolled eyes.

"You've been hurt and all you could do is make a joke? Are you serious?"

Ren only shrugged and watched as Rey started to wind a bandage around his torso.

"So what exactly did they do to me?"

"Laser gun."

"Ah, I remember those. I almost forgot how much they hurt."

"So you've been hit with them before?"

He nodded and Rey only continued her work.

"Rey?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you want to do something crazy?"

She looked up to meet his eyes, a small smile forming on her lips.

"How crazy?"

"Hm, I don't know...very crazy."

"I see."

She soon went back to securing the wrap around his wound. After one last tug she finished.

"So are you still up to it?"

"Depends."

Ren didn't reply instead he slowly reached for Rey, grasping gently at her lower back.

"What are you doing?"

"You said you wanted to do something crazy didn't you?"

"I don't think I did."

His smirk widened and his voice went low.

"Are you chicken then?"

"I'm not."

"Then kiss me."

Rey's eyes widened in surprise at first before she started to lean in. Ren then followed suit, claiming his own conquest.

"Hux."

"King Snoke."

"How did it go?"

"Not as expected sire."

Hux's voice went low and in response Snoke slammed his fists into the arm rests of his throne.

"What?! What do you mean?"

"Our little rebel got away. We succeeded in wounding him but he escaped."

"How bad did you injure him?"

Hux looked down at his feet before meeting Snoke's hard glare once again.

"Pretty bad, a hard shot in the torso."

Snoke's eyes soon became slits as his temper began to rise.

"Then how did he escape?"

"He had help."

"From who?"

Hux coughed and went silent before finally giving his answer.

"A girl, he was helped by a girl."

"What girl?"

Rey found herself giving into the kiss. Letting the soft touch of Ren's fingers along her waist and the taste of his lips bring her somewhere else. At first she hadn't quite known what she was doing, letting her heart control her over her head.

That was her first mistake.

Her second was letting herself enjoy the moment after she seemed to come to her more logical senses. But by the looks of it she was far from becoming sane again. The moment soon ended though for Ren pulled away from her slowly, his lips more plump than usual and his forehead resting softly against hers. Rey watched as he let out a small smile and she couldn't help but do the same.

"You're playing with fire Rey."

"Then let me burn."

And so he did. Capturing his lips once again she indulged herself within his flames, and then she burned. And suddenly fire didn't seem all that scary anymore.

Rey found herself thrive in the flames, the flames burning brighter with every touch and every kiss left on her lips.

"Rey..."

"Yeah..."

"I'm sorry."

"For what?"

"I don't know...everything?"

"There's nothing to be sorry for."

Ren didn't say anything instead he stroked a finger gently across her newly kissed lips.

"There's always something sorry to be for with me, I'm sinking in a pit of never ending mistakes."

"Then let me help you."

"General Hux."

"Ah, Phasma. Quite nice seeing you here."

"About that I have to talk to you about some..." she scanned the halls, noticing the approaching storm trooper knights. "Military strategies."

"Sounds good."

After a quick scan of the halls once again, the duo made there way to Hux's quarters and after the door shut with a silent click Phasma reached up to take her helmet from her head.

"I haven't seen you for so long."

"Being captain had its responsibilities, I thought you'd know that General."

"I do, I still missed you though."

"You always do."

Hux moved closer to her.

"Now General, remind me again what we were discussing."

"Military plans Captain."

"Then let us discuss."

And then they clashed.

A/N: TBH I was lowkey planning on making this chapter a bad one with something bad happening {I'm evil I know} but I decided to give y'all a break because I'm in a good mood so this one is more fluff I guess and the chapter most of y'all have been waiting for.
