o. PROLOGUE: WELCOME TO DERRY

Danielle Merritt and her mom arrive in her parents' hometown of Derry late at night and she can't help but notice just how strange of a place it really is.

❝ This place is as welcoming and friendly as it gets. It is Derry after all. ❞

i. CHAPTER ONE: GRAFFITIED STALLS AND BATHROOM BRAWLS

It's the last day of school and Dani makes a new friend in the girl's bathroom, along with a new enemy.

❝ Because I'm not a huge bitch and take pleasure out of dumping a bag of trash filled with water on someone, unlike you Greta. ❞

ii. CHAPTER TWO: FAMILY REUNION

During a trip to the local grocery store, Dani and her mom bump into two people from their past. Dani gets some disappointing news about her summer plans.

❝ I haven't seen or talked to the kid in eight years, mom! And I'm pretty sure the last time we talked, our sentences weren't even coherent. ❞

iii. CHAPTER THREE: BEVERLY SAVES THE DAY

Dani's mom forces her to actually leave the house and do something with her day, and it's during an altercation with the Bower's gang that she realizes she has a friend by her side.

❝ Friends always have each others backs. ❞

iv. CHAPTER FOUR: THE GREAT PHARMACY HEIST

Bev confides in Dani on why she really needed to go to the pharmacy. The girls distract creepy Mr. Keene to help a group of boys steal some...interesting supplies.

❝ Stealing? Your dad is a police officer! Isn't this against your embedded moral code or something? ❞

v. CHAPTER FIVE: STRIP AND JUMP

Dani bonds with Bev and the group of boys at the place her parents used to go when they were her age. An awkward conversation between cousins breaks the ice.

❝ You're my cousin and you're kind of standing in your underwear, and I understand that we used to take baths together when we were little but this is just weird. ❞

vi. CHAPTER SIX: BEN'S LIBRARY RESEARCH

Dani finds a little piece of her parents at the Quarry. And it turns out that Derry has some pretty dark history Ben had uncovered, revealing some very harrowing statistics.

❝ The way they described this place was as if it was the perfect town to grow up in. ❞

vii. CHAPTER SEVEN: MY COUSIN EDDIE

Everyone comes over to Dani's house in search of some food. Richie asks Dani on a...non-date. And a much needed conversation, closes the eight year long gap between Eddie and Dani.

❝ You may have forgotten us, but we never forgot you. ❞

viii. CHAPTER EIGHT:  GALAGA, MILKSHAKES AND RICHIE TOZIER

A day well spent at the arcade has Dani and Richie making a bet that ends with the two sharing a milkshake. Richie gives her a gift.

❝ I figured I'd make the first move since you're too scared to. ❞

ix. CHAPTER NINE: MEMORIES ARE THE WORST FORM OF TORTURE

Richie sneaks them into a drive-in. The movie gives Dani unsettling flashbacks and she makes an impulsive decision.

❝ You should really learn to speak before you think.  ❞

x. CHAPTER TEN: ONE HELL OF A BLOODY MESS

An urgent matter at Bev's house has everyone coming together in her time of need. Dani witnesses something unsettling at Keene's pharmacy.

❝ I know a thing or two about disinfectants. ❞

xi. CHAPTER ELEVEN: APOCALYPTIC ROCK FIGHT

An all out war ensues with the Bowers gang when everyone comes to the defense of Mike Hanlon, a local kid. The Losers Club is formed. Richie loses his shit.

❝ What are you trying to hide Henry? I mean, there's got to be a reason why you lie about sleeping with girls. Are you compensating for something? Or is it that the only action you get is with that right hand of yours? ❞

xii. CHAPTER TWELVE: KISS THE GIRL

Richie pulls a stunt right out of a John Hughes movie. Dani sees a different side to the Tozier boy.

❝ Well sweetie, all I can say is that if a boy sits on your front porch in the pouring rain waiting for you to get home...he deserves to be heard. ❞

xiii. CHAPTER THIRTEEN: BANG! BANG!

An unsettling experience in a parlor brings back a traumatic memory from Dani's past, making her question her sanity.

❝ Oh the sweet, sweet fear. ❞

xiv. CHAPTER FOURTEEN: JULY 23RD, 1988

Dani relives the moment her life changed forever.

❝ It won't stop bleeding. Benny he won't stop bleeding. ❞

xv. CHAPTER FIFTEEN: THE CONFESSION

The Losers Club gathers in the town center where Derry's history begins to unravel and they find out that they've all seen something.

❝ Yeah, but the only things cicada's harm are some types of trees and basic human hearing. Definitely not explosions, arson and kidnapping. ❞

xvi. CHAPTER SIXTEEN: EIGHT LOSERS AND SOME FIREWORKS

When their original plans fail, everyone tries to immerse theirselves into the town's 4th of July celebration. An unlikely ally warns them of a imminent danger.

❝ It's okay, I'm here and there's no way I'm letting you leave...again. ❞

xvii. CHAPTER SEVENTEEN: IT'S WATCHING

Everything the Losers Club has learned about Derry comes full circle in Bill's garage.

❝ Okay...I'll go. ❞

xviii. CHAPTER EIGHTEEN: 29 NEIBOLT STREET

The Losers Club steps foot into the home of IT– unprepared for what lies behind the wicked walls.

❝ Look, if you want to conjure some demon spawn from the great beyond of some shit water, that's all fine and dandy. Just wait for me to leave before you start. ❞

xix. CHAPTER NINETEEN: THIS IS NOT A DREAM

Eddie's injured. Richie and Bill are M.I.A and Dani is trapped within the walls of the crumbling home as the Losers get a true glimpse of the monster of Derry.

❝ You killed me. You killed dad and now you've killed me. ❞

xx. CHAPTER TWENTY: THE DISBANDING OF THE LOSERS CLUB

The reality of their situation comes to a boil and everything begins to falls apart right before their very eyes.

❝ I knew you'd always be trouble from the moment you were born. ❞

xxi. CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE: AND THEN THERE WERE THREE

The three remaining members of the Losers Club wander around town, unsure of what to do. A little more light is shed on Bev's home life.

❝ Hanging out, just the three of us, it's not the same as when it was eight...the Losers Club. ❞

xxii. CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO: CRUSHES, BIG BROTHERS PLUS THE BIRDS AND THE BEES

Richie and Dani reunite at Stan's Bar Mitzvah. They sneak off to the quarry where feelings come to rise during a heart to heart. Benny gives Dani some boy advice, and mom wants to have 'the talk.'

❝ I kind of feel like this is our spot. ❞

xxiii. CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE: LOSER < LOVER

Dani sees Eddie for the first time in weeks and confides in her cousin about what happened to her dad. Greta gets sucker punched in the face. A worried Bill runs into Dani.

❝ Nobody with a heart as big as yours is a loser. ❞

xxiv. CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR: YOU DIE IF YOU TRY

 The Losers Club epically reunites back at Neibolt in search for Bev. A vicious attack takes place at the opening of the depths of Derry that threatens the groups bond.

❝ If I die...I always want you remember...how I kicked your ass at galaga. ❞

xxv. CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE: INTO THE WELL AND BACK

Everyone comes together to help save Stan from his fear. The ultimate battle begins and nobody is safe. Dani and Richie share a special moment.

❝ You're not my brother, you bastard! ❞

xxvi. CHAPTER TWENTY-SIX: THE BLOOD OATH

As the summer comes to an end, the Losers Club begins to adjust to life post IT, making an oath that will bind them forever. Dani and Richie spend a moment together at the Quarry. A surprise is waiting at home for Dani.

❝ Yeah...a date. ❞

xxvii. EPILOGUE: LATE NIGHT PROMISES

Dani and Richie meet up the night before their lives move on from their small town of Derry. Reminiscing in the years they spent together and making a sweet promise, hoping that their story isn't over.

❝ We both know I'd never leave you anywhere. ❞
