"Still?" Clint exclaimed, "You'd still go out with him after all he's done?" a hurt look flashing across his features.
Percy frowned at his friend's reaction but Loki smiled brightly, "well since it's public knowledge." He grabbed Percy's face and crashed their lips. Percy let out an exclamation but quickly melted into the heated kiss as he wrapped his arms around Loki's neck.
"Okay, let's keep PDA in the tower to a minimum," Tony said as he pulled the two apart.
Percy rolled his eyes and flicked the god's forehead, "I'm still mad at you."
"Why are you mad at my brother?" Thor asked, him being surprisingly quiet since he had gotten there.
Percy just motioned to the other god who was pleading silently not to have to answer, Percy, winning the silent argument. "Perseus is mad at me for not listening to him," Loki sighed.
"About?" Percy prompted.
"Being able to face the chitauri alone before they attacked Earth."
"And?"
"Getting caught and put under mind control to attack Earth," Loki ground out.
"And?"
Loki grimaced, "hoping that I would die in the process to release me from their hold on my mind." The original Avengers gaped as Loki hung his head.
"Now was that so hard?" Percy cooed to his partner and gave him a hug in comfort. After a minute Loki flashed green as he appeared back as a snake on Percy's neck. "I hope you know we're gonna talk about you like you're not here," Percy warned but only had the small flat head burrow under his shirt collar.
"Loki was under mind control?" Bruce voiced the room first. Percy nodded as he took his seat again and grabbed an apple out of the random fruit bowl.
"How do you know he's not lying?" Clint asked next.
Percy bit into the fruit as he mulled the question over. "Two things," he said as he swallowed. "First, we had an argument about how he couldn't take down an entire race of aliens on his own before they made it to earth and how he should ask for help, so logically he wouldn't just turn on Earth. The other part was from you guys," he pointed to Clint, Tony and Natasha, taking another large bite of his apple.
"Us?" the two men asked and pointed to themselves as Natasha gave a slightly puzzled look.
Percy nodded as he continued to eat his apple, "What colour were his eyes during the invasion? You three were the only ones that close enough to notice."
"Blue, they were blue like Clint's," Natasha realized.
Thor scrunched up his eyebrows, "But his eyes are green." Percy hummed in agreement as understanding passed through the room and eyes landed on the green that peaked out of Percy's shirt. "I must tell Father!" Thor announced in joy and stood.
Everyone jumped as Loki was suddenly on Thor who fell to the ground in shock. "That oaf doesn't deserve to know!" he snarled down at his brother.
"Loki, off him," Percy commanded with a glare. Loki backed off but stood moodily away from the others that had instinctively grabbed weapons at the god's outburst.
"Why can I not tell Father? He could clear your name!" Thor asked in confusion after picking himself up.
Loki scowled at the fact that his brother couldn't see why, "Because, brother, if he really did act like the father he was supposed to be, he would have been able to tell. So either he's using this to get rid of his disgraced, adopted son or the all-seeing All-Father couldn't tell the difference. Take your pick, Thor." Thor faltered as he tried to wrap his head around what his brother was saying.
"Father would never-"
"But he would and has! He's been using me as a fallback for centuries, Thor!" Loki yelled, holding back tears, "he uses me and my heritage as cover for any mistakes you or Mother or he makes! Mother was the only one that tried to make it better for me." The last line was said softer as he hugged himself. Percy carefully walked over and hugged the God from behind and whispered reassuring words into his ear.
Thor scrambled to think of something to say came up empty on how he could help the situation. "I never meant to hurt you Loki," he finally said sadly.
"I never held it against you, brother," Loki mumbled and flashed green as he returned to his green water snake form that disappeared into Percy's shirt and wrapped around the demigod's chest.
A/N Gods I forgot how cringe I made this. Like from this point on was me trying to write a relationship without proper experience. Whoops.
Next chapter is the last of the stuff I originally wrote and I know it's not my best writing but POKI so yeah...
If you want more for this I'll need some suggestions of plot and such and the drive to write more for this book (and not the 7ish Poki stories that are in the works lol)
Tell me what you think
Love you all! -Ghost
