I ran out of the gates leading out of Vaniville down and down the path leading to the next town over. Once I ran through the gates leading into the next town I quickly slowed down and looked around in amazement till I heard someone shout at me from my left.

Calla: YARA! YOU HOO! COME HERE! TO YOUR LEFT!

I turned to my left and jogged over to where they had three tables pulled tiger and there where eight chairs. A girl with brown hair was at the end, then Espérer was on my right side next to the brown haired girl, Carl was sitting next to Espérer, then there was a boy with black hair that was sorta like a mow hawk in a way as it was only on the top of his head, then there was a orange haired boy next to the unknown black haired boy, Calla was sitting next to the orange haired boy, and there were two empty chairs, one next to Carl and the other was at the other end I'd the table across from where threw brown haired girl is sitting.

I quickly took notice that three unknown people each already had one Pokeballs with their starter Pokemon in it. When I got over to threw table I sat in the empty chair next to Carl.

Calla: We just were talking about you a moment ago! These three people here already got their starter Pokemon this morning!

Carl:Yara, the meeting place is here. I'll inroduce you. This is Yara, everyone.

????(Black haired unknown boy):Wow...the description that Calla was seriously spot on!

Carl pointed at the black haired unknown boy.

Carl: Yara, this is Tierno. He really can tear the dance floor up...

Tierno: Nice to meet ya, all right! The starter I got this morning was a Squirtle!

Carl then pointed at the brown haired girl.

Carl:This is Shona. She's happy a lot of the time, but she's still a really good friend.

Shona: Heya! My starter I got this morning was a Bulbasaor!

Carl: And the orange haired boy is Trevor. Trevor's a little shy, but on tests he always gets perfect scores...

Trevor: H-Hello, I chose Charmander for my starter this morning.

Calla: But you three aren't gonna get to choose from the three Pokemon they got to choose from!

Yara: huh, that's odd. And nice to meet you three.

Tierno: Ya know, if we call call each other by nicknames It'll feel like we're closer friends. Is it okay if I call you Lady Y?

Shona: HUH? NUH UH! YARA IS A LI'L Y, FOR SURE!

Yara: Uh...

I didn't know what to say then Shona and Tierno turned to Trevor and Calla.

Shona: What do you think Yara's nickname should be, Trevor? Calla?

Trevor and Calla looked taken back by Shona's question.

Calla: I don't ever use nicknames!

Trevor: What?! You want me to give someone I just met a nickname?! You didn't put people on the spot like this, Shona. Well...how about something that's low key? Maybe...something like Y-kins?

Everyone turns to face me.

Carl: You decide what we will call you.

Me: Uh...how about just, Yar?

Shona: You want us to call you Yar?

Me:yup.

Shona: OKAY! Yar perfectly fits you! 🎶 I'm sure we're going to be great friends, do I'll call you Yar, too!

Shona turns to face Tierno.

Shona: Hey Tierno! Can you let them see the Pokemon now? I really want to see who they pick to be their partners! 🎶

Everyone including myself turned toward Tierno when Shona said that.

Tierno: I know, right? It was such a cool feeling when we got ours and it's even more exciting to give them they're starters ourselves!

Tierno turns toward where Espérer, Carl, and I sat.

Tierno: When Trevs, Shouna, and I met or Pokemon! I hope you three feel the same way we did!

Tierno pulls out a purple and brown case and puts it on the table so it was facing us. He opened it and inside the small case there were three Pokeballs inside it.

Shouna: The one on the left is the grass-type starter, Chespin.

Trevor: The one in the middle is the fire-type starter, Fennekin!

Tierno:And the one of the right is the water-type starter, Froakie!

Shouna, Trevor, and Tierno: Which one do you guys pick?

Espérer quietly picks up the pokeball in the middle, the one with Fennekin inside.

At the time I didn't know yet, but Carl and I both reached and picked up the two pokeballs on the ends. I had picked up the one with Chespin inside and Carl had picked the one with Froakie inside.

Calla: Do you want to name your Pokemon?

Espérer shook her head side to side saying no

I nodded.

Me: Maybe Bloom...

Calla: You decided on Bloom?

Me: Yea, Bloom the Chespin.

I smiled gently partly to myself and partly at my new friend Bloom who is in her pokeball.

Carl: I will nickname him, Zack. Zack the Froakie. Good to meet you, Zack. My name's Carl. And cause if you, I can be a real Pokemon Trainer. Thanks!

Shouna: Ok! Wow! You three and your partners go together great! You three with your partners are just way-ay-ay too cute! 🎶

Trevor: Um, excuse me, but I also have something from the professor for you three. Something that'll help you guys understand Pokemon on a much deeper level.

Trevor took out three things that looked like the pokedex's I've heard about. He handed one each to Espérer, Carl, and I. I looked at mine in wonder.

Trevor: Uh, so you see...The pokedex I just gave you is a high-tech device that will automatically records all the Pokemon you will encounter! The reason you three each get one is because the professor wants us to go on a journey with our Pokemon and complete the pokedex along the way. To put it another way, it's am important mission from the professor himself. I'm sure of it!

Tierno chuckles a little and grins at Trevor and all of us face him.

Tierno: Trevs, lighten up! Sometimes you're way too serious.

Shouna: Um, Yar... Please take this with you, too. It's a letter from the professor. He said that you did give the letter to your mom.

She handed me the letter from the professor. I put the letter in my pocket.

Tierno: All right! Were done with our errand for the professor. I guess Trevs, Shouna and I will go look for Pokemon! Lets go, you two!

After Tierno said that he, Shouna, and Trevor got out of their seats and walked off to somewhere together.

Calla cleared her throat so Espérer, Carl, and I turned to face her.

Calla: Here in Kalos, kids are chosen to carry a Pokedex and go on an adventure. But you need to give that letter from the professor to your mom before any of that. And then you should pack for your journey after. Carl and I are going to go do that right now! And Espérer is probably gonna head to her house and do the same!

I nodded and stood up and started to walk back to my house and when I was about to walk through the gate leading to the route that led to Vaniville Town when suddenly someone shouted something at me who's revealed to be Shouna.

Shouna: YAR, WAIT!

I stop walking and turn around to see Shouna running up the last if the steps I had earlier saw her go down and ran up in front of me. She looked determined foot some reason.

Shouna: You're gonna be my opponent in my Pokemon-battling debut!

She sun around in a circle once before stopping.

Shouna: OK, LI'L BULBASAOR! IT'S OUR FIRST BATTLE! LETS WIN IT WITH STYLE!

Shouna took out a pokeball from her bag and sent out her Bulbasore.

Me: Okay then... Go, Bloom! Do your best!

As I said that I took out the pokeball that held my new Pokemon friend Bloom inside and released her.

Shouna: Bulbasaor! Use pound!

Bulbasaor used pound on Bloom.

Me: Bloom! Use Tackle!

Bloom quickly used tackle on Bulbasaor.

The battle consisted of Bulbasaor using pound over and over again and Bloom using tackle over and over again till one of the Pokemon fainted. That Pokemon was Shouna's Bulbasaor. So that meant I won the battle.

Shouna: Hey! I wasn't done watching my cute Li'l Bulbasaor yet!

Shouna quickly pulled out 500 pokedollars and handed them to me and I just put it in my bag. Then I knelt down in front of Bloom and smiled at her.

Me: good job Bloom, you did amazing! Do you want to go back into your Pokeball or do you want to always stay out of it?

Bloom:Ches-Chespin!

Then Bloom jumped up, onto my right shoulder, answering my question.

Me: okay then Bloom, staying out it is!

I then stood back up and faced Shouna again. Shouna smiled at Bloom and I.

Shouna: You're amazing, Yar! Here! Let me fix up your Pokemon. 🎶

Shouna quickly healed both of our Pokemon.

Shouna: Say hi to your mom for me! 🎶

Then she turned around and ran back down the staircase and back over to Tierno and Trevor. I just smiled at Bloom, then turned back around and continued to walk back home, this time with Bloom on my shoulder. When I got in front of my houses door I went inside to see my mom.

When I closed the door my Mom heard it and walked over to me

Mom: So, what did you and the neighborhood kids end up doing?

Before I could tell her, my mom saw Bloom on my shoulder.

Mom: Wait one second, Yara! Is that a Pokemon named Chespin on your shoulder?

After she asked me that I nodded and explained to her about everything that had happened.

Mom: You got your very own Pokemon? Lucky you! How about that? You're a Pokemon Trainer now, too! Congratulations!

Me: Thanks, and I have a letter to give, you.

My mom looked confused when I said that.

Mom: Huh? A letter for me?

I nodded and took our the letter, giving it to her.

Mom: It says it's from someone named Sycamore. What could it be? A live letter?

I sweatdroped when she said that. My Mom turned to her right and started to read the letter.

Mom:... Wow, what lovely handwriting... Hmm? What do we have here? A request... Oh, I see!

Then my mom turned back to face me again.

Mom: Yara! We've barley unpacked, and all kinds of exciting things are happening! OK! Lets get you and your Chespin ready for your journey!

My Mom walked up to my room. After some minutes she walked back down and stood in front of me again. She held out a box that sounded like there is stuff inside it. My mom held out a tent, she also held the box out to me.

Mom: Here you are, Yara. I even packed a change of clothes, your pajamas, and a first-aid kit with things for almost any situation in which someone gets hurt. The things you need to use to set up a tent is in the box.

She handed the box and rolled up tent to me and I put the box in my bag and used the small ropes, used to keep the tent from unrolling, to tie the tent to one of the straps of my bag so I had it with me.

Mom: My, what an unexpected turn off events! It's like a sudden last burst of speed from a race in a Rhyhorn race! You made friends! You meet your Pokemon! And now you get to take a lap around Kalos! Oh, and don't forget this!

Mom took out a map and handed it to me, I put it in my bag.

Mom: you know how to use a Town Map, right?

I nodded

Mom: That's my girl! Take out the Town Map from your Bag whenever you want to use it! I don't know what this Professor Sycamore wants you to see on your trip... But taking a journey with your Pokemon is a really wonderful experience.

Me: Thanks for telling me Mom! Bye!

Then I walked outside and Rhyhorn walked over to me.

Rhyhorn: ROAAAAH!

My mom walked outside.

Mom: Ha ha ha! What a card! I guess Rhyhorn just wanted to give you a big send-off for your journey! Well, he has known you since you were born, after all! Good luck, Yara! Go for broke! And don't worry! You'll have Pokemon by your side, so you'll be fine!

My mom waved at me then walked back inside the house. I walked out of the gate of the fence around my house and I saw Carl and Calla were waiting there for me.

Me: Hey there Carl, Calla. My Mom said I could go on my journey! Why are you two waiting outside my fence gate!

Carl: We were wondering if you would like to join us on my journey with my sister tagging along and do both of our journeys together?

Me: Sure! That would be nice!

Calla: Ok then! Lets go!

After she said gay the three if us walked out of Vaniville's gates and out onto route one. Our journey had officially begun.
