(Ash POV)

"All right Pikachu use thunderbolt"

"PIKACHUUUUUU", Pikachu said unleashing a powerful stream of electricity towards the Smeargle.

"Dodge it", Lucas said. Just than the Smeargle got out of the thunderbolts way and then reappeared right behind my Pikachu. "Wow that was fast", I thought to myself.

"Mach Punch", before I could say anything the Smeargle punch my Pikachu with so much force it knocked Pikachu a couple of feet away from where he was.

"What!!! How can Smeargle use Mach Punch" I said.

"My Smeargle can learn any move just by seeing it done and I had my Smeargle for years so it know all kinds of moves", Lucas said with a confidence.

"This is going to be harder than I thought" I thought to myself. "All right Pikachu use quick attack".

Pikachu than rushed at Smeargle with unbelievable speed but Smeargle did not move.

"Physic and stop it in its tracks", just than Smeargle's eyes glowed blue and all of a sudden my Pikachu was floating in the air.

"Send it flying", Lucas said. Now Pikachu is flying into the air and crashed into the ground.

"Pikachu", I yelled seeing on the ground struggling to get up.

"Mach Punch again", He said. His Smeargle is now rushing towards Pikachu and I am thinking how can I match Smeargles speed.

"Charge at him with Volt Tackle". Pikachu is now rushing at him covered in a layer of electricity. The two attacks collide and both Smeargle and Pikachu were on the ground trying to get up.

"That was quite a risky move you did there", Lucas said in shock. "But... now that I think of it thanks for that".

"Thanks? For what"? I asked.

"For this, Smeargle use Sketch". Just then his Smeargle picks up his tail are started waving it around and it started to sparkle.

"Sketch what kind of move it that"? I asked while shocked on what is going on.

"Sketch is a unique move that only Smeargle can use it allows himself to copy and learn the last move an opponent's Pokémon used", Lucas said with a smile. "Now let's try out the new move, use Volt tackle".

Now his Smeargle is covered in a layer of electricity and was charging towards Pikachu

"Quick dodge it". Pikachu was able to dodge just in time but was not able to avoid the entire attack as it was shocked a little by the top of Smeargle and landed on its stomach.

"All right Pikachu I know your tired but this is a really close match just remember don't give up in till it's over"

"PIKA" he said as he got back to his feet.

"Good job Pikachu now use Iron Tail", Pikachu jumps into the air and is about it hit the Smeargle on the head.

"Catch it", Lucas yelled

The Smeargle raises his hands and caught the Iron Tail with both of its hand.

"Good just what I wanted", I smiled at him.

"What?", He said in confusion.

"Thunderbolt!!!"

With Smeargle's hands full with the Iron tail it was unable to dodge the thunderbolt and got electrocuted by the yellow mouse Pokémon. Smeargle let go of Pikachu and was on one knee from taking a direct hit from the thunderbolt.

"Ash and Pikachu really have a strong bond I can since it could he be able to....", Lucas was thinking to himself, just then his thoughts were interrupted by a net that came out of no were and grabbed Pikachu.

"Huh what the?!?!"

"What's going on?", he said.

Just then I look to where the net came from and saw 3 unfriendly but familiar faces.

"Team Rocket, You're in Kalos too!?!?", I said looking at them with Pikachu in their hands.

"Indeed we are long time no see twerp", James said.

"Uh... Ash who are they?", Lucas asked me.

"They're a criminal organization that steals peoples Pokémon, they been trying to steal my Pikachu for years now." I said to him.

"What!!!, criminal organization!?!?", He said and then got an angry look in his face.

"And now that we got Pikachu we'll be on our way", said their Meowth as they are about to escape.

"What? Did that Meowth just talk", Lucas ask.

"No time to explain I need to get my Pikachu back, Go Charizard", I yelled as I thrown Charizard's pokeball towards them as Charizard came out ready for battle.

"Use Flamethrower", I yelled.

"I'll help out too, Smeargle use Dark Pule", Lucas said.

Just then the two Pokémon unleashed their special based attacks at the trio of people, but then their Wobbuffet got in the way.

"Use Mirror Coat", Jessie said. The Wobbuffet started to glow with an aurora light around its body as the two attacks came towards it. As it made contact the two attacks reflected off the Wobbuffect and came straight back towards us.

"Dodge it", we both yelled.

The two Pokémon dodged the attack just in time as Lucas yelled another command".

"Lets try Mach Punch", he yelled. Now the Smeargle is rushing towards the Wobbuffet with great speed, but then James got in the way.

"Come on out Inkay and use Psybeam". James yelled as he thrown the pokeball in front of him.

Just then a small grey squid like Pokémon came out and attacked Smeargle causing him to loose balance and crash on the ground.

"What when did you get that Pokémon", I said.

"The same time I got this one, go Pumpkaboo", Jessie yelled as a pumpkin like Pokémon can out of here pokeball ready to fight.

"Dark Pules!" ,"Psybeam!" the two yelled.

The two Pokémon was about to use their attacks on the our Pokémon when all of a sudden a blue frog like Pokémon came out of nowhere and used water pules on Inkay and Pumpkaboo.

" Froakie", the frog Pokémon said with an angry look.

"Huh what's that?"

"That's a Froakie, but what is a Froakie doing here?" Lucas said.

"That frog got in our way, Pumpkaboo use shadow ball", said yelled with an angry tone.

Before Punpkaboo could do anything, the frog Pokémon unleashed a bubble attack and knocked the pumpkin back and crashed into Inkay.

"Hey!!! What's the big idea getting involved in something that doesn't concern you", James said.

"Froakie Froakie", it said pointing at my Pikachu that was still in the net.

"What? Its saying that it can't stand low life people like us to mistreats Pokémon like that Pikachu" Meowth said.

"LOW LIFE!!! Why you little.... Use Dark Pule" Jessie yelled in raged on what Froakie said.

"Use Psybeam"

"Charizard help Froakie out with steel wing", I yelled

"Smeargle use Flash Cannon"

My Charizard was able to get to the Inkey before it launched its attack. At the same time the Flash Cannon was able to hit the Punpkaboo, but before it unleashed a powerful Dark Pules and ended up hitting the Froakie knocking it back and making it a critical hit.

"Charizard blow them away with whirlwind", I yelled.

"Smeargle get to Pikachu and free him with slash", Lucas Said.

Charizard then unleashed a powerful whirlwind that knocked the Inkey and Pumkaboo back at Jessie and James. At the same time Smeargle rushed towards Pikachu and freed him his slash.

"WHY YOU... you may have won this time but we'll be back", Jessie said as she thrown a smoke ball at us and blinded us for a few seconds. Luckily my Charizard blow the smoke away with his wings, but then revealed that team rocket escaped. Pikachu was safe as he rushed towards me and climbed on my shoulder.

"What they got away!", Lucas said with an angry tone.

"Relax Lucas everything is ok", I said trying to calm him down.

"ITS NOT OK", He yelled to me. "There are members of a criminal organization loose in Lumiose city and they can be up to no good again I have to stop them", He said as he started to run off to find them.

"Wait Lucas, what about Froakie, he's hurt from that Dark Pules we need to take him to the Pokémon Center".

Lucas stopped and looked at me. "There's not time, the Pokémon Center is too far from here, take him to professor Sycamore he's close by and should be able to help Froakie much better than a Pokémon Center". He yelled before running off again.

"Wait, I don't know where that is"

"Just go down that road and at the end of it make a right, sorry Ash but I got to go", he yelled.

" Wait Lucas don't......", I was too late, he and Smeargle was sprinting down the road and was out of sight in seconds. I sighed then I returned Charizard to its pokeball. I picked up Froakie in my arms and then sprinted in the direction Lucas told me to go.

"Don't worry Froakie I'll make sure you end up ok", I said to make him feel safe.
