(Normal POV)

"WHAT!!!" all three of them exclaimed.

"Yep...... a whole cave that is filled with all kinds of mega stones." Aubrey said.

"Amazing" Ash said.

"Wait.... If the cave has all those mega stones how come people don't come just to get one?" Serena asked.

"One, it is guarded by that Pinsir. Two, people who know about the cave tends to keep it a secret." She said. "If everybody knew about the cave then anybody could mega evolve their Pokémon and it won't be as special."

"I see...." Said Ash.

"Yah.... So that is why I'm here so I can help Korrina get the mega stone she needs to mega evolve her Lucario"

"Really..... I would really like to a Pokémon mega evolve for the first time" Bonnie said. "I bet it would look amazing."

"Huh?..... you have not seen a Pokémon mega evolve before?" she asked.

"No I haven't. That is why I am really exited"

"Haven't Lucas showed you when he mega evolved his Gallade?"

"Well........" Serena started. "The thing is..... neither Bonnie, Clemont, nor I have actually met Lucas. Ash is the only one in our group that had actually met him."

"Really? Again Ash how did you met him."

"Well........." Ash said. He then explained to her how he first met Lucas after the........ 'incident' he had at Prism tower.

"You got shocked by the gym leader?" she said.

"Yah...... I rather not talk about that" he said sweat dropping.

He also told her that he and Lucas battled, stopped team rocket on the tower, and he helped with the Malamar problem.

Aubrey's eyes widen as Ash told his story.

"That...... that was you?!?! You were the one that stopped the Garchomp."

"Yah that was me."

"I heard about the incident. I still can't believe that you are the one that stopped him, that is really impressive."

"Thanks" Ash said. Aubrey then looked at her watch as she looks a little impatient.

"Is something wrong?" Bonnie asked.

"Not really" she said. "It's just that Korrina should be here by know, I don't know what's keeping her."

"She is probably just late" Serena said. "I'm sure she will be her soon."

"I hope so" she said. She then look over a her Flaaffy who was still nudging up against Ash's Pikachu as Pikachu was still a little weirded out.

"Flaaffy......" she said nudging up to Pikachu.

"Pika......?" he said sweatdropping.

"FEN......" Fennekin said glaring from Serena's arms.

"Flaaffy could you give Pikachu some space. You're making him unconformable" Aubrey said.

"Flaa......." She sighed as she got up and walked over to her trainer.

"Fen." Fennekin said glaring at Flaaffy as she walked by. She then jumped down from Serena's arma and walked over to Pikachu and sat next to him where Flaaffy was as she started to nudge up against Pikachu.

"Pika?" he asked confused. "Pika....." he sighed as he just let her do it without even asking.

"Hey Serena what's up with Fennekin" Ash asked.

"Uh.... I guess she is really likes to be with Pikachu. They are good friends after all." She said.

"That's also an understatement" Bonnie thought.

"Hey Ash I just thought of something. Can I see your Pokédex?" Aubrey said.

"Sure" he said as he handed his Pokédex to Aubrey. "What for?"

"I just want to see something" she said as she went through his Pokédex.

"What are you looking at?" Bonnie thought.

"I'm just looking at Ash's trainer ID" she said.

"My what?" Ash said.

"Didn't you know that your Pokédex also acts as you ID?"

"I uh....... No" she said.

"Well it does. It also tells me when you been, what Pokémon you have, your hometown, what badges you have collected through you entire journey, and so on."

"Huh...... I did not know that" Ash said. "Anyways why are you looking at my trainer ID"

"Knowing Lucas, he saw something in you that interest him if you keep running into him and I would like to know what it is."

"Oh ok"

"Let's see........."She murmured. "You're from the Kanto region, your first Pokémon was Pikachu, the first Pokémon you ever caught was a Caterpie a couple days after you started journey, your got your first badge two days later, and............"

She stopped and was shocked at what she saw. She then looked up at Ash. "You caught 30 Tauros in one day?"

"Yah....." he said sweat dropping.

"Yep, I had the same reaction" Bonnie said.

"........ I'm not going to even ask." She then continued looking through his Pokédex. After 30 minutes of her looking at his Pokédex, she finally looked up at the group.

"Wow, you have done quite a lot over your journey. I'm really impressed" she said handing the Pokédex back to him.

"Thanks" he said.

*BOOOOOOOOM.........* just then the heard a lot explosion.

"What was that?" Aubrey asked. "It sounded like something just exploded."

"That's just probably my brother's invention" Bonnie said nonchalantly.

"What?"

"We'll explain on the way, come on" Serena said.

Ash, Serena, Bonnie, Aubrey, and there Pokémon went over to were the explosion taken place. There they find the inventor laying on his back all covered in soot still dazed from the explosion. This Chespin and Bunnelby was standing next to him trying to get him up and wiping off the soot on him.

They all gathered around looking over at the down inventor.

"Another failure brother?" Bonnie asked

Slowly, Clemont out up as his vision began slowly became clear again.

"Uhh..... I tried making a devise that would search and dig for evolution stones and well......... I did something wrong." he said.

"Clearly." Bonnie smirked.

"Bunnelby......." "Ces........" the two Pokémon sweatdropped.

Clemont then noticed the girl with blonde hair and brown eyes standing in between Ash and Bonnie. "Hey Ash who's your friend?"

"Clemont this is Aubrey. She kind of ran into us while I was doing some training. Turns out she also is a sp....... I mean agent like Lucas" Ash said.

"Really, you know Lucas?" Clemont said.

"Yes I do" she answered. "So your Clemont, it's nice to meet you."

"You heard of me?"

"Yes I have. Your sister told me you were a gym leader" Aubrey said.

"She did?" Clemont said. He then turned to face Bonnie. "What else did you say to her...... wait.... You didn't......."

"Yup" She said already knowing the answer. "Yes I did"

"BONNIE!!! I told you to stop that a million times!!!" he yelled.

"Don't worry Clemont, I'm over it" Aubrey said. "Anyways, I need to find my friend Korrina. I hope that we meet again" she then started to walk off.

"WAIT!!!" Clemont yelled. "Did you say Korrina?"

Aubrey stopped and turned around. "Yes........?"

"As in the gym leader of Shalour City" Clemont asked.

"Wait... what?........" Ash said. "So...... She's the gym leader"

"Yes!!!!" Aubrey said

"I saw her. She just pasted by about 30 minutes ago" Clemont said.

"YOU HAVE!!!" She yelled. "Where is she? I have been looking for her all day!"

"Last I saw she was heading towards the path out of town towards the mountains" Clemont said pointing to the path. "It looked like she was determined to do something."

"WHAT?!?!?!" Aubrey exclaimed. "She went alone!"

"Well she had a Lucario with her, but other than that yes."

"Ohhhhhh........Noooooo" she panicked. "This isn't good, this isn't good."

"Aubrey what's wrong?" Serena asked.

"She's going to the cave all by herself" Aubrey said.

"So.... What's wrong with that" Bonnie asked.

"She was supposed to wait for me here so I can guide her there. It's too dangerous to go there alone if you don't know the area. Look guys I can't talk I got to go. Come on Flaaffy." she then was about to sprint strait towards the path but Clemont quickly grabbed her wrist before she could go far.

"Wait.... Let us come with you" Clemont said.

"I can't..... It's too dangerous for you guys" she said.

"You said so yourself, it's dangerous to go alone. With more people, it will be safer and we would find her faster" Clemont said

"I don't know..... I have training with this kind of stuff. I just can't bring 4 civilians with me to the mountain."

"Aubrey.... I helped Lucas out a couple of times before with this kind of stuff and we are not strangers to danger, I think the four of us will be fine" Ash said.

"I guess you have a point.......*sigh*....... Ok you 4 can come, just try to not to get yourselves in danger."

"Yayyyyyyyyy, we're going on a recuse mission" Bonnie said excitedly.

"Let me to the recuse part, while you just warn us if anything happens."

"Awwwwwwww........."

The 5 of them are now on the path after leaving Geosenge Town about 45 minutes ago. Aubrey and Flaaffy are up front leading while the 4 and their Pokémon was just a couple of feet back. It had been silent for most of the trip since they were on their guard. So Ash decided to break the silence.

"So....... Aburey" Ash said.

She turned to him. "Yes?"

"Just wondering......Why didn't you tell me that Korrina was the gym leader?"

"You would have found out anyways, I just want it to be a surprise when you do." She answered.

"I see....." he said. "So how did you know about the cave?"

"Everyone in the agency knows about the cave. That's where Lucas and I got our mega stones for our pokemon."

"Really!!!!" Bonnie said exited. "You have a Pokémon that can mega evolve!"

"Yes I do, though I rarely use It." she said. "It is supposed to be used as a last resort."

"That's really amazing" Clemont said.

"Can we see?" Serena asked.

"Maybe later, we're close to the cave now. Come on" she said as she picked up the pace.

After another 10 minutes the group finally reached the entrance of the cave. They could only see about a couple of yards into the cave from the entrance while everything beyond that was pitch black.

"Here we are, I hope we're not too late" Aubrey said.

"It...... it's really dark" Serena said a bit nervous.

"That's why I brought Flaaffy" she said. "Flaaffy, could you give us some light?"

"Flaaffy" she nodded. The orb on its tail started to glow as the light started to aluminate some of the cave.

"There problem solved" she said.

"I don't know..... What if we get separated" Serena said still a little scared.

"Fenn....." Fennekin said from Serena's arms also a bit nervous.

"Don't worry Serena, just stay close to me" Ash said. "If you want, you can hold my hand so you won't get separated from us."

Serena's cheeks started to get warm for a bit. The chance of holding Ash's hand was an opportunity she could not miss.

"Uh...... OK" she said as she took his hand. She suddenly felt better holding Ash's hand like she knew she would be safe.

"Great, now that that's settled lets go in" Aubrey said as she started lead the group into the save with Flaabby beside her. Bonnie gave a little smile looking over at Ash and Serena.

"Enjoy the moment know Serena, it won't last forever" Bonnie thought as she followed close behind Serena along with Clemont.
