(Normal POV)

Serena was walking alone with a guy she thought was the cutest guy she ever met. They were on a trail that lead deep into the woods, apparently the guy was leading Serena to a secret spot where he goes when he want to be alone and clear his mind. Who is this guy that is leading Serena to his secret spot you may ask.

His name is Ash.

"Here we are Serena, no one will bother us while we are here" Ash said upon arriving to the spot with Serena. The spot looked kind of like a ravine, there were in between two different sides of a cliff with a little stream running towards the left side of the ravine.

"Wow Ash this place is amazing" Serena said in awe.

"I hoped that you would like it" Ash said. "Because I thought I would take you here so I could tell you something."

Serena's face suddenly shot red. "You.... You want to tell me something?"

"Well....... Sort of" Ash said. "I wanted to take you here because I couldn't of a better place to tell you."

"Tell me what?" Serena asked.

"The thing is, I don't know how to quit say it but I think I can show you" Ash said.

"Show me what?" Serena said. Ash slowly raised his hand and placed it on the side of Serena's face. She gave a slight gasped from the surprised but she didn't pull away.

"Ash.........?" she questioned. Ash didn't say anything; he looked deep into Serena's ocean blue eyes as she did the same looking into his dark brown eyes.

Ash started to lean his face towards Serena as she blushed a bright crimson red. She closed her eyes and leaned towards his face as well. Their lips were inches apart just about to make contact as they got closer and closer and closer and.............

"SERENA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"WHAAAAAAAAAA" Serena screamed falling over.

"Serena wake up you overslept" Serena got up and look around to see what was going on. She found that she was on the floor beside her bed with Bonnie sitting on top.

"Huh..... what happened?" she asked.

"You were still asleep and Ash, Clemont, and I were already up" Bonnie exclaimed. "They already went to get breakfast and feed their Pokémon. They wanted me to wake you up before professors Sycamore announce the first activity for today."

"So uh...... I was...... sleeping?"

"Yes you were, and it sound like you were dreaming as well" Bonnie said. Serena then looked down in embarrassment as she came to the realization that Ash taking her to a secret spot and almost sharing a kiss was all a dream.

"Oh......." Serena said depressed. "I guess I was dreaming."

"Yeah so come on and get dress, everyone else is waiting for you" Bonnie said.

"Uh.... Yeah.... Right..... I'm on it" Serena said. Bonnie left the room and went to wait outside on the front porch for Serena while she went to get changed. While she was waiting she got a smug on her face think what Serena was dreaming about.

"I heard her say Ash's name in her sleep" she said to herself. "I wonder what was happening in her dream."

Everyone was now in the dining hall eating breakfast. Ash, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie were sitting on one side of the table while Miette, Shauna, Tierno, and Trevor are sitting on the other side.Their pokemon was sitting on the ground next to the table eating there food while the group was chatting about what they did over their travels. Trevor was even showing the group the pictures he took before coming to summer camp.

"And this one is a group of Flabebe with each of them with a different color flower" Trevor said going through his pictures.

"Wow.... That looks amazing" Bonnie said. "Do you have any more pictures of cute Pokemon?"

"Other than your Dedenne, I do." He then show the group a picture of a Cubchoo, then a Mantyke, then a Budew, and then a Pichu."

"Awww...... that Pichu is so cute" Miette said. "Hey Ash, Was your Pikachu that cute when it was a Pichu?"

"I actually don't know" Ash said. "I gotten Pikachu how he is, I never saw it as a Pichu."

"Pika..... pi" Pikachu said sheepishly with one paw on the back of his eat. Fennekin then looked over towards Pikachu and tried to imagine him from when he was a Pichu, that thought made Fennekin blush.

"Oh.... Well I'm sure it as cute when he was a Pichu" Miette said. "After all, like trainer like Pokémon."

Ash's face when a little red from the comment, not because he was flattered but because he was slightly embarrass. "Uh... thanks....." he said awkwardly.

Serena's face was also red, but not from embarrassment but from anger. How many times is she going to flirt to Ash right in front of her? She gets she was doing it to get to her but was she really trying to get with Ash.

"No......." Serena thought to herself. "Stay calm Serena, she is just trying to get in your head."

"If you thought that Pichu was cute, you should have seen my Squirtle when I first got him" Tierno said trying to change the topic. "He looked so cute when......."

"He dances" Shauna finished slightly anoyed. "We know Tierno, we know." She heard that story before and she really did not want to hear it again.

"Right....." Tierno said sweat dropped.

"Morning everyone" professor Sycamore said getting on the stage in the dining all. Everyone turned their attention to him as he was about to address everyone. "I hope all of you had a good night sleep, today will be the first day of activities. For today's activity each cabin will create a Pokévision video."

"Pokévision?" Ash questioned.

"For those of you who don't know Pokévision are videos made by trainers to show the bonds they have with their Pokémon and to show off the special skills and/ or talent. To give all of you an example here is a Pokévision video that was recently made by our current Kalos queen Aria."

"ARIA!" Serena and Shauna gasped. They knows that name all too well, she was the reason they both wanted to become Pokémon performers. It was so exiting for the two girls to see their idol show them her current work.

A white projector screen was lowered from the ceiling onto the stage while a projector in the middle of the room also lowered from the ceiling and started to turn on while the lights started to dim.

The projector then played the video while the entire dining hall went quite. The video showed of a teenage girl with long pink hair. She wore a white top with a yellow and pink shirk. She had a blue ribbon in her hair and blue striped socks that goes all the way to her knees.

"There she is!!!" Serena said exited. "It Aria."

The video showed Aria with her Braixen and a Spritzee. There was a voice over, who many believed it was Aria's, through the entire video to narrate what was going on. They were practicing different routines for different showcases, when they were not practicing it showed them playing together, making Poképuffs together, and laughing together.

The video lasted for about four minutes, the projector then turned off as it and the screen rose back up into the ceiling as the lights came back on.

"I hope the video gave you a good idea on what Pokévison video is" said Professor Sycamore. "So each cabin with get their own equipment to rent to make their video. You will have until 6:00 PM tonight to shot and edit your video. The cabin that created best video, which will be judged by me and staff, will win the most points for their cabin. Is that understood?"

Everyone in the room nodded

"Excellent, after you cabin is done with your breakfast just stop by the camps Pokémon center to get your equipment and start making your video. But most importantly have fun."

With that done the professor stepped of the stage and every other camper started to discuss what the video should be like with the rest of their cabin.

"Yay!!! I always wanted to make a Pokévison video" Serena said.

"Me too, after seeing Aria's I am so ready to get started" Shauna said.

"Pokévison huh.... This should be fun" Miette said to herself for everyone to hear. "Hey Serena, mind if I join you cabin for the video?"

"What.....?" Serena exclaimed. "Why do you want to join us? Don't you have your own cabin to do it with?"

"Yah.... But everyone in my cabin are guys and I'm the only girl there" She said. "To be honest I don't really care about winning the best video, I just don't to spend the day with the guys in my cabin because they will probably just argue leaving me to do all the work. But this way I can spend some.... 'Quality' time with you guys." She said giving some emesis on the word 'Quality'.

"Uh... I don't know........" Serena said a bit hesitantly.

"Ohhh please........ I ready don't want to do it with my cabin. I can be a really big help for your video. PLEASE!!!"

Serena thought for a bit. She really doesn't known if this is a good idea, but since she offers to be helpful and as long as she keeps an eye on her, nothing bad can happen right? So she thought is won't be a bad idea so she might as well agree for that reason. Well........ that and she probably won't stop asking until she said yell.

"Ok......." She sighed. "You can join us."

"Yay!!!"

(Serena POV)

It was been 2 hours since we started making tour Pokévison video and we have gotten a lot done already. We got some footage of my Pancham, Clemont's Bunnelby, Ash's Hawlucha, and Miette's Slurpuff playing together and doing some training with their respective trainers.

Surprisingly, Miette was been a really big help making the video. She knows just as much about cameras as Clemont did and had some really good ideas for the video. She didn't even tease me once about me and Ash during the whole time we worked on this.

"We are really making great progress" Clemont said.

"Yeah, this is going better than I expected."

"I told you I would be a big help" Miette said nudging me with her elbow, I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah yeah..."

"Great all we have to do now is find a new place to shoot the scene of us and the Pokémon playing together and we will be done" Miette said.

"Didn't we already do that?" Bonnie asked.

"Yes, but only the Pokémon playing together. Not us and the Pokémon" she explained. "That way it shows how we connect and bond with our Pokémon and that is what a Pokévison video should be about."

"Slurr......" Miette's Slurpuff said agreeing.

"Alright, let's do it" Ash said. "But why can't we shoot the scene here?"

"Because we already did all the other scenes here on the beach" she explained. "This last scene should be somewhere new and pretty."

"I agree let's find a new place to shoot the scene" I said agreeing. With that the five of us left the beach and started to walk into the woods for the final shot

"Wait.... Did I just agree with Miette on something?"

All five of use where now walking on the trail towards a spot that Miette chose to do the last scene. She didn't want to tell us about the spot because she wanted to surprise us. I kelp wondering why she won't tell us where we are going, why won't she just tell us? what is so special about this place she is leading us too.

"Are we there yet?" Bonnie asked.

"We're close" she said. "Just a little further."

"I don't think my brother can walk anymore" Bonnie said. We all looked over towards Clemont and saw that he was slowing down.

"I........*pant* don't know how *pant* much more I can *pant* walk" he complained. He then fell to the ground exhausted and we all sweat dropped.

"Come on Clemont, we just have to get through the forest before we get to the spot" Miette said. "Trust me; it will be worth it when we get there."

"I hope so" he sighed as Ash helped him back onto his feet.

After walking for about 10 minutes all of us saw a clearing from where we were that lead out of the forest.

"There it is" Miette said. "Once we get to the clearing we will be right at the spot. You guys are going to love it, the place is so big and beautiful and has a lot of different color flowers."

"Really?!?!" I exclaimed.

"Yes, I especially think you are going to like it Serena" she said.

"Really.... Well what are we waiting for? Lets go!!!"

With that I ran full sprint towards the clearing not bothering to look back at the group or even look down to where I was running on.

"Wait..... Serena" I heard someone yell. "You're running towards........"

"Huh?" I didn't know who said that so I quickly turned my head to see who said that. "What did you........"

Before I could answer I suddenly lost by footing because I was not looking at the path and started to fall forwards.

"Whaaaaaaaaa"

"SERENA!!!" Ash yelled. I looked back in front of me and saw that I just stepped off what looked like a side of a cliff and started to fall. Before I went any further I felt that Ash grabbed my wrist trying to pull me back on my feet with Pikachu still on his shoulder.

However it didn't work. I continued falling with Ash still holding on to my wrist as we both started tumbling down the cliff until we........

*CRASH*.......... Yeah.... That.

"Ow........" I said rubbing the side of my head. "That hurt"

"Uhh......." I heard. I looked down to see that Ash was laying on his stomach with a dazed look with me sitting on top of him and Pikachu on my head.

"Oh my gosh Ash! Are you ok?" I asked out of worry.

"Yeah...." He grunted. "But can you please get off of my back."

"Oh.... Right, Sorry." I got up off of Ash and then helped him up.

"Chu......" Pikachu grunted jumping off from my head.

"Guys!!! Are you ok" Clemont yelled. We both looked up from where we heard him and saw that he, Bonnie, and Miette where standing on top of the cliff from where we fell.

"Yeah, I think so...."

"Sorry Serena, I tried to tell you" Miette said. "There was a rift between here and the spot. I was going to show you the bridge but you ran off before I could tell you."

"Oh... my bad."

"Alright then" Ash said. "Let's find a way back up."

Ash then tried to take one step forward towards the cliff, but as soon as he took the step he grunted in pain and fell back down.

"Ow..." he grunted.

"Ash what's wrong?" I asked out of worry.

"I think I sprained my ankle" he said. "I can't walk."

"What's going on down there?" Bonnie yelled from up top. "Is something wrong?"

"Yeah Ash hurt his ankle" I yelled back up. "He can't walk."

"This is bad" Clemont said. "Ok guys we are going to get help in the mean time I need you to wait there until we get back."

"Alright don't take too long."

"We will be back soon guys, take care" Miette said. With that the three of them left the cliff side leaving Ash and I down at the base waiting for their return. So..... what am I going to do in the....

"Wait... I'm all alone with Ash."

It had been eighteen since Ash and I fell from the cliff waiting for the others. Well........ Technically I fell and Ash grabbed on to me trying to stop me from falling but I ended up taking him with me. I still feel bad for what I done to Ash, if it wasn't for me we would be finishing up the Pokévison video by now and Ash wouldn't have sprained his ankle.

Right now Ash is sitting on a rock with his shoe off from where he hurt his ankle. Pikachu was keeping Ash company while I was getting water from a nearby stream and used the water to get wet the handkerchief I got from Ash a long time ago. I then went back over to Ash and put the handkerchief around his ankle in hopes to heal the pain there.

"I am so sorry Ash" I said..... Again. Even though I already apologized two times already I still feel guilty for what I done. "If it wasn't for me we wouldn't be in this mess."

"Don't feel bad Serena" Ash said. "You were just excited about the video and you just got carried away, besides I been in worse situations than this before."

"Yeah.... But still."

"Look Serena" he said firmly. "You didn't put me in the situation, I chose to try and stop you from falling. I was because if me I got hurt and no one else. You shouldn't be sorry for anything. In fact I should be apologizing for putting you through the trouble of taking care of my ankle when I was the one to sprain it."

"It's no trouble at all. It's the least I can do for all the times you helped me over our journey."

I then thought about the position I am in. this feels so...... familiar. "Actually you can think of this as me returning the favor."

"What favor?" Ash asked.

"Remember back in professor Oaks camp I hurt my leg and you made it feel better?"

"Yeah..."

"Well now I am helping you with your hurt ankle and we so happen to be at summer camp" I said.

Wow... Just thinking of this moment made me remember the moment back at professor Oaks summer camp. Just thinking of it made me turn me cheeks a a slight shade of pink. "Kind of nostalgic don't you think."

"Yeah... it is" Ash said. "Well now that you returned the favor I guess that makes us even."

I shook my head. "No Ash it doesn't."

"Huh? Whys that?"

"Because we are not even. You helped me realized what I want to do on my journey, encouraged me, and even helped me with my Pokémon when I needed it. There is no way I could ever repay that Ash"

"Well.... I mean....." he sheepishly said. "You my friend Serena and I would do anything for my friends."

"Really...." I said with a sly look. "Would you for say... I don't know... give up on your dream of being a Pokémon master if I needed your help with something."

"I........ uhh...... well...... I.........."

"Relax Ash I was just kidding. I would never ask something as giving up on something as big as your dream."

"Oh... *phew* thank god you were not serious about that. I don't think I could do it." Ash said giving out a sigh of relief. "Speaking of dreams, you never really told me why you wanted to be a Pokémon performer. How did it all started?"

"Well.... I didn't ready wanted to be a Pokémon performer when I was younger but I always like watching the different performances when I was a kid."

"Then what changed you to want to be one?" he asked.

"Well... firstly you convinced me to follow that dream back in Santalune City, but other than that it would have to Aria."

"Aria? Isn't that the girl in the Pokévison video we watched this morning?"

"Yeah that's her, about two years ago my mom and I went to see the master class showcase and that is when I first saw Aria. Out of all the performers she was the one that stood out the most, she made me smile and I never saw anyone that brought out the beauty of their Pokémon like she did. That got me thinking that I should be a performer like her but didn't know if I could ever be as good as her."

"Wow..." Ash said. "It's because of one person you found your dream and are perusing it."

"Well........." I said being a bit hesitant. "Two actually."

"Two? Who's the other?"

"One being Aria and the other is...... well you" I said blushing a bit.

"ME?" he said a bit shocked. "All I did was......"

"I know what you did Ash" I said cutting him off. "You suggest it but its more than that. After I tried practicing with Fennekin you kelp encouraging me, giving me tip, helped with Pancham, and always reminded me to never give up. I have all of that to thank you for."

"You... you really mean that?" he asked. I could tell he was touched by my words.

Wow.... I am ready getting comfortable talking to Ash. I feel I can tell him anything.

"Yes I do mean it" I admitted. "I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you. And you are still trying your best to be a Pokémon master. You are such an amazing person."

"Huh?!?!" he said.

Oh........... I think I said a bit too much.

"OH uhhhhhh....... I...... uhhhh....... Let me uh........ Get you more water." I quickly took the handkerchief off his ankle and went back to the stream. I got it wet and went back to Ash and placed it carefully back on his ankle.

"Thanks" he said.

"It's the least I can do."

"Also I want you to remember something. Nothing you do is pointless; everything helps you when you want to be a trainer. No matter what it is or how small it is it will help you one way or another."

"Really? Anything?"

"Anything" he confirmed.

"Chu" Pikachu said nodding agreeing with his trainer.

"GUYS!!!" I heard someone yelled. We both looked up to see who said that, when we did we saw Clemont, Bonnie, Miette, and what looks like rescue worker over the very top of the cliff.

"Clemont!" Ash yelled.

"We came back as soon as we can just sit there until they come down to get you guys."

"Alright" Ash said. The rescue workers started to tie off ropes to a nearby tree and started descending down the side. "Looks like we will getting out soon."

"Good thing, I was starting to think they forgot about us."

(Normal POV)

It was now late in the evening and all the campers have finished here Pokévison. After Ash and Serena was helped out of the ravine they went straight back to finishing their video, also Ash had to take it easy due to his ankle.

Serena was now sitting at the end of the pier with her Fennekin on her lap thinking about what Ash told her. Does anything you do really help you as a trainer? It doesn't sound like it makes since but there could be some truth in it?

"Deep in thought?" someone said. Serena got startled a bit and quickly turned her head to see who it was. When she did she was even more surprised who said that.

"Miette?" she said.

"I came to tell you that the videos are about to be presented" she said. "I thought you would like to come see them with us."

"Oh... right. I'm coming" Serena said as she got up and was about to pass Miette.

"Before we go..." Miette said stopping her. "Tell me, what were you thinking about."

"Oh........ uhhhhhh....... Just uhhh........ what Ash told me" she said a little hesitantly.

"Really..." she said with an interested look. "What would that be?"

"Just stuff, I would rather not say" Serena said trying to get out of the conversation.

"Fair enough, but tell me how was your 'alone' time with him" Miette said with a sly look.

Serena face turned red when she asked that. Why must she tease her about that every time she gets the chance?

"It was.......... Nice" she said. Miette looked at Serena intensely seeing if she can get anything more out of her. After a couple of second she said........

"Good to know" she said acting like nothing happened. "Anyways lets go see the videos."

All the campers are in the mess hall finishing up the videos. They were finishing up the video Ash and the group made. The video actually show the bonds between trainer and Pokémon as it showed them training, eating, planning, and even playing together.

All the campers where impressed by what the group made. It was well made, insightful, and there were some funny parts in it too. Especially when it showed Ash sleeping with Pikachu sleeping on his face. Everyone laughed that that part.

"Wha....... Hey! When did you record that?" Ash yelled.

"When you were sleeping, Duh" Bonnie said. The video played for a couple more minutes until it ended and the lights went back on.

Professor Sycamore then came on stage with an envelope in his hand as he went up to the microphone.

"Well I hope all of you enjoyed today's activity, all of them were very well made" he said. "In my hand I hold the names of the top three cabins voted on by myself and staff on what we thought showed the best Pokévison video based on its content. So without further delay here are the top three teams."

He then opened the envelope and pulled out a sheet of paper as he was about to read them.

"Third place for 5 points goes to team Chimchar" that team then cheered lightly when they heard there name called.

"Second place for 8 points goes to team Squirtle."

"Alright" Tierno said. "Not bad for day one."

"And finally for first place for 10 points goes to team Froakie"

"HAYYYYYYYYY" Bonnie cheered. "We won."

"As for the other cabins they will each receive 2 points for their participation" Professor Sycamore said. "I hope all of you had a great first day of activities. For when tomorrow comes I have a special surprise for all of you."

"Surprise" Ash thought. "I wonder what it is."

It was now very late in the camp and everyone is getting ready for bed. Clemont was tucking Bonnie into bed while Ash and Serena were already in bed trying to fall asleep.

Ash had no problem falling asleep as he was to it but Serena was having a harder time getting asleep. She was still thinking about her time with Ash today even thought it was not in a 'romantic' setting.

Still, it was nice getting to know Ash a little more than she already did. She then thought back to the dream she had this morning. It was just her and Ash, no one else. Even though it was not the same it was very similar.

"That place" Serena thought. "That place was very similar to my dream....... I wonder if that was a coincidence or was it fate?"

Now before you say anything I know what you are going to say. It had been a whole month since you updated. You said you will update sooner. You said you had more time and............

Look I know what I said but things happen that kelp me busy and it takes time to write chapters as long as this one.

But don't worry I am not going to stop. I will continue until the story it compete. Even if XY & Z ends.
