(Ash POV)

Me and my friends are taking a little break in the woods while Clemont is making lunch. Right now I am training Fletchling and Froakie for my next gym battle. Serena is practicing a routine with Fennekin and Pancham. And Bonnie is watching Serena practice with Dedenne and Pikachu sitting next to her.

"Ok, Froakie Fletchling here is what we are going to do. Both if you are going to use Double Team at the same time after that you guys are going to try and find the real one of the two and try to knock them out with one of your attack. This will help with your reflexes and your ability to identify the real one and the copy. You got it?"

Both of them nodded to show that they understand.

"Alright, by the way I want you two to only use short range attacks to make it more of a challenge. Ok GO"

Both Froakie and Fletchling made multiple copies of themselves and started attack each one. Froakie was using Cut while Fletchling was using Steel Wing on the copies until they were able to find the real one.

After 2 minutes Froakie cut through all the copies of Fletchling and only revealing the one. There were still some copies of Froakie and Flechling was still taking them out. While Fletchling was distracted Froakie use Cut one last time from behind and cut across Fletchlings back.

"Fletchling!!!!" he yelled in pain as his eyes closed and started to fall towards the ground.

"Flethcling!!!" I yelled as I watched him fall.

"Froakie" Froakie said as he took some of his frobbles from his back and threw them towards the spot on the ground where Fletchling was going to fall. Fletchling landed on the frobbles provided by Froakie and opened his eyes and looked as if he was not hurt from the fall.

"Fletchling I'm glad that you're ok" I said as I ran towards him. "I'm sorry if that hurt I'll try to be more thoughtful when it comes to training."

"Fletch" he nodded to show that he forgives me.

"Froakie that was some quick thinking using your frubbles like that to cushion his fall, thanks for that"

"Froakie" he said nodding.

(Serena POV)

"Ok guys one more time. I want to make sure we got this padded down"

"Fen"

"Pan" they said watching.

Fennekin and Pancham started to run towards me like we rehearsed and jumped on my arms. I threw them up like before and they let out a small ember and dark pulse to make it look like sparkling fireworks in the sky.

"Wow Serena it's even better than before" Bonnie said.

"Thank you Bonnie"

"De ne ne"

"Pika" the electric mice said agreeing.

"Pika pi pi chu pika pika" Pikachu said. Him saying that made my Fennekin smile and then she turned away blushing a bit. I guess he was complimenting Fennekin on how much she improved on her performance.

"That is really kind of him to say, I guess Pikachu takes after his trainer." I thought looking over to Ash. Seeing him training his Pokémon and seeing how much they care for each other and them laughing is really heartwarming to see. I couldn't help but to smile at the since.

"Alright lunch is ready" Clemont yelled over at the kitchen area.

"Coming!" Ash yelled as he and his Pokémon ran over to the table. The thought of food always makes him exited.

*sigh* "Same old Ash" I said to myself as he sat down at the table. "But he so looks cute when he does that."

(Norman POV)

The group was now eating lunch while there Pokémon were doing the same. Chespin got done early but he was still a little hungry. He looked over at Pancham who still had some food in his bowl. When he was not looking Chespin tried snatching some food only to have himself getting an arm thrust to the face.

"Ches....pin pin" he complained.

"Pancham pancham" he snapped back. The two then got into an argument then started fight one another.

"Chespin would you cut it out" Clemont said getting Chespin

"Pancham you too" Serena said doing the same to Pancham.

*sigh* "What are we going to do with you two?" Ash said.

Just then they heard a loud cry coming from another part of the forest.

"SSSSEEEEENNNNN.........TTTRRRRREEEEETTTTTTTTT............!!!!!!"

"What was that?" Bonnie said.

"It sounds like a Pokémon" Clemont said. "And it sounds like he's in trouble"

"Come on lets go find him" Ash said running towards the direction of the cry. Everyone else soon followed as they ran to try to find the source of the cry. When they arrived they found a group of small pokemon, one of them being a Sentret. The others were a Patrat, a Pachirisu, and a Hoppip.

"Whats going on here?" Ash asked. In front of thesmall group of Pokémon was two every big and scary looking pokemon."

"What are those pokemon?" Serena said as she and Ash got out their pokedex.

Conkeldurr, the Muscular Pokémon and the evolved form of Gurdurr. Conkeldurr uses concrete pillars like canes, tossing them with ease.

Ursaring, the Hibernator Pokémon. Ursaring searches for honey in a forest daily. To reach its food, it often snaps trees with its forelegs rather than climbing.

"What's a Conkeldurr and a Ursaring doing here?"

"It looks like they're picking on those Pokémon there" Clemont pointed out.

"Hayyyyyyyy that's not nice" Bonnie said. "We got to help them."

The Conkeldurr looked over the group and gave them a warning look. "Con....durrrrrrr" the Conkeldurr said raising one of its concrete pillars towards the Pokémon.

"Stop!!!" Ash yelled holding up his hand to stop the group. "It looks like if we take one more step forwards he'll attack."

"What.... That's not fair" Bonnie said.

"A bully is never fair" Clemont said disappointedly. Conkeldurr then looked back at the group of pokemon as they started to intimidate them even more making then shake were they are.

"We got to do something" Ash said. "But what?"

Just then like right on cue a Pokémon with wings but with a human like build figure jumped down from a tree branch right above them and attack them from above. It used karate chop and high jump kick as he landed on the ground and did a sneak attack.

"What is that?" Serena asked. The two Pokémon looked dazed as they got hit from the top but then got focus on what was in front of them.

"Wow..... it's a Hawlucha" Clemont said.

"A Hawlucha?" Ash said as he got out his Pokédex.

Hawlucha, the Wrestling Pokémon. Possessing an artistic way of executing its moves, Hawlucha takes great pride in their elegance.

Ursaring and Conkeldurr then tried to hit Hawlucha with slash and hammer arm but he quickly got out of the way and used high jump kick on Ursaring. He then jumped up high into the trees and jumped of a branch.

"What is he doing" Bonnie asked.

"It looks like...... he using flying press"

"Flying press?" Ash asked.

"It's his signature move; it acts as both a fighting and a flying type move" Hawlucha finished using flying press and hit Conkeldurr. When the dust cleared it revealed that both Conkeldurr and Ursaring were lying on the ground knocked out.

"Wow.... He just defeated two Pokémon by himself" Ash said impressed.

"He defended those Pokémon" Clemont said. "He must be acting as their protector"

"Or guardian" Bonnie said. "The Guardian of the forest...... I like the sound of that"

Hawlucha then turned to face the group and took a defensive stance.

"What's he doing?" Serena asked.

"Uh...... I think he thinks we are his enemies" Clemont said.

"Hawlu hawlucha" it said in a demanding voice.

"Guys.... I think he wants us to leave"

"Hawlucha we are not your enemies" Ash said standing in front of everyone. "We mean you no harm"

"Pika Pikachu" Pikachu said from Ash's shoulders.

"Hawlucha cha cha!!!" it said demanding that they leave.

Hawlucha still was staring at the group not believing what they are staying. But as he was facing away from his defeated opponents, Conkeldurr slowly regained conciseness. He looked up from where he was and saw that Hawlucha was distracted by the group of humans. He saw this being a perfect time to get back at him for making him look like a fool when he was not looking. He quickly got ahold of one of his cement pillars and started to swing it at Hawlucha.

"Hawlucha look out!!!" Ash yelled.

"Haw???" he said as he turned around. But it was too late, he got hit in the face by the cement pillar and was hurled across and crashed into a tree.

"HAWLUCHA!!!" Ash yelled. Conkeldurr smirked as he got up and was heading towards Hawlucha while he was down. He got his other pillar was getting ready to swing.

"We got to help. Pikachu Thunderbolt" Ash said.

"Chespin use Pin missal" Clemont commanded.

"Pancham Stone Edge" Serena commanded.

The three pokemon unleashed their respective attacks and hit Conkeldurr on his side.

Hawlucha looked up and saw what was happened. Those people just saved him from another swing from those pillars. Who were those people?

"KEEEELDERRRRRRRRR" it yelled in pain as he got hit. He then turned to the group with an angry expression on its face.

"Uh...... guys. I think we made him angry" Clemont said.

"CONKKKKKKKKELDERRRRRRRRRRR" is yelled as he unleashed stone edge at the group.

"Look out!" Ash yelled as he and everyone else took cover. Bonnie and Serena ran behind the tree were the small group of Pokémon still were, Clemont ran back to the side behind another tree, while Ash...... well..... When we ran he tripped on a root and fell on is stomach. Conkelder saw the opportunity as he slowly walked over to Ash while he was down.

"HAW?!?!" Hawlucha said as he knows what is about to happen. He was going to do to Ash what he did to him.

Conkelderr was standing over as he got an evil face one. He lifted his arm as he was about to use hammer arm.

"ASH!!!" Serena screamed. Ash then closed his eyes so he won't see it coming and braced himself.

"HAW!?!?" he said as he saw this, he can't let Conkelderr it Ash with hammer arm after he just save him. Despite the pain he rushed over to be Ash to intercept the attack. He got in between Ash and Conkelderr and used karate chop on the hammer arm. The two attacks cancelled each other out as Hawlucha and Conkelderr were knocked back a couple of feet.

"Huh?" Ash said. He opened his eyes and saw that he was unharmed and Hawlucha was actually protecting him. "Hawlucha?...... you..... saved me?"

"Lucha" it said nodding to him. He now knows that Ash is not his enemy and he is going to protect him.

"CONK.........ELDERR........." Conkelderr yelled using stone edge at Hawlucha.

"Quick Pikachu, help with Iron Tail on the stone." As Pikachu used iron tail to repeal the rocks Hawlucha knocked them back with Karate chop and sprinted towards Conkelderr.

"Ok Pikachu help Hawlucha by using Quick Atta......."

"HAWLUCHA!!!" it yelled wanting to stop Pikachu.

"Hawlucha?.... you want to face him yourself?"

"Hawlucha...." It said nodding.

"Hmmmm.... I see but I want to help. How about we face them together just you and me" Ash said.

Hawlucha stopped for a bit from that question. He never really needed any help from anyone when he was fighting he was always a lone fighter. It's not that he doesn't want Ash to help it's just that..... He doesn't know if he can.

"I see you don't know if you can trust me but I truly want to help."

"Cha....." he said hesitantly.

"Trust me I know how to battle. If you don't like it, it is only a onetime thing" Ash said.

He had a good point he suppose. He will at least try it to see if this person is who he say he is.

"Lucha" he said nodding.

"Great"

"Good luck Ash" said Bonnie from behind the tree.

"You can do it Ash" said Clemont doing the same.

"I believe in you" said Serena.

"Alright Hawlucha use get in close and use Karate Chop" Hawlucha sprinted towards Conkelderr getting ready to Karate Chop. Conkelderr was getting ready to use hammer arm with his right hand. Ash Saw that coming and already knows what to do next.

"Quick, dodge to your left and aim for his left leg" Hawlucha didn't know why he said that but wanted to see what we was up to. He dodged hammer arm easily and was hit this left leg.

"Conk........" it yelled in pain as he lost his balance and fell to the ground. Hawlucha was impressed that Ash was knowing what he was doing. He really does know how to battle. As he fell he tried to grab Hawlucha with he left arm trying to take him down his him.

"Quick jump on that arm and jump right over him" Hawlucha didn't hesitate and jump towards and off the arm as it came at him and was now over Conkelderr.

"Great, finish it off with Flying Press" Hawlucha liked what Ash was thinking and preformed his signature move. He spun in the air with great speed and rushed at Conkelderr with great force as he made contact. Then the dust settled it showed that Conkelderr was knocked out and this time it does not look like he was going to wake up any time soon.

"Great job Hawlucha you did it" Ash cheered.

"Pi pika pi"

"What was amazing Ash" Serena said.

"Yah you battled with a Pokémon that was not even yours" Clemont said. "How did you do it?"

"Uh.... I don't know. I guess I trust in him and in return he trusted in me to let me help"

"Amazing Ash just amazing." Clemont said. "Come on lets help the Pokémon here get back to their home"

It was been an hour since Ash and his friends helped Hawlucha and the small forest Pokémon from those two bully Pokémon. The forest Pokémon were back in their homes and the group was about to see Hawlucha off.

"Hawlucha is was great meeting you and seeing how you protected those Pokémon from that Ursaring and Conkelderr was really impressive" Ash said.

"Yah I think you are a great Pokémon" Bonnie said. "Anyone would be lucky to have you as a Pokémon."

"Haw...lucha" it said. That got him thinking, all his life he had been a loner. He never really had anyone to depend on he just protect the Pokémon here because no one else will so he never been able to trust anyone. This boy, Ash, showed that he is strong and kind and surely was going to get into many adventures. He been here all his life and this forest is getting to small for him, he wants to see what more is out there and this boy could do just that.

"Haw....Hawlucha" is said point at Ash.

"Huh.... What is it Hawlucha?" Ash asked.

"I think he wants you to take him along" Clemont said.

"Really?!?!.... you want to come with me?" Ash asked.

"CHA!!!!!" is said agreeing.

That made Ash smile. "Alright you got it......... but first" he said as he got out a Pokéball. "I have to catch you first"

That got Hawlucha's attention. If he battled well with him just what to see how his other Pokémon can battle.

"Alright Fletchling time to battle" Ash yelled as he released his Pokémon from his Pokéball. "Use Peck"

Fletchling rushed over at Hawlucha getting ready to use peck. But at the last moment he got out of the way narrowing avoiding the attack.

"Impressive speed, ok Razer Wind" Flechling flapped his wings as fast as he could and shot razer shard strands of wind at him. Hawlucha again dodged the attack and was about to use high jump kick.

"Flechling dodge it" Ash yelled. But it was too late, Fletchling got hit on its mark and he fell to the ground.

"Flech...." It yelled in pain as he was falling. Hawluch was then getting ready to use karate chop as flechling was falling towards the ground.

"Fletchling look out" Ash yelled. Fletchling turned and saw the karate chop coming straight at him. he tried to move but it was no good, he got hit and crashed into the ground.

"Flechling!!!" Ash yelled. Hawlucha saw he was down but not out. He jumped into the air and spun in the air as he was about to use his signature move.

"Flechling you got to move" Ash yelled. Flechling looked up and saw that Hawlucha was about to make contact. The pain he was in was too much for him to move but can't give up know. With all his mite he gathered all of his energy so he can move.

"FLEEEEECH.............." it yelled but then started to glow white and got out of the way just in time.

"What going on with Fletchling?" Bonnie asked. "Is that........"

"It is" Clemont said. "It's evolving"

Fletchling started to grow a bit bigger. His wings grew a bit, his beak got slightly longer, and the patterns on its body changed to another pattern. When the glowing stopped it revealed a new Pokémon was standing there.

"Who's that Pokémon?" Ash asked as he got out his Pokédex.

Fletchinder, the Ember Pokémon. Once in flight, Fletchinder can reach its top speed extremely quickly, giving it the edge in battle by attacking is opponents before they can get prepared.

"Wow.... You evolved into Fletchinder" Ash said. He then looked at his Pokédex and saw something else is new. "And you learned a new move"

"New move!" Bonnie said. "Do it! Do it! I want to see"

"Alright Fletchinder use Flame Charge"

Fletchinder covered its body with a layer of fire and rushed towards Hawlucha. Hawlucha tried to dodge it but with Fletchinder's new speed it was very difficult to dodge it and got hit in the prosses.

"HAW......." It yelled as he fell to the ground.

"Ok now's my, go Pokéball" Ash yelled as he threw an empty Pokéball at Hawlucha. It made contact as Hawlucha got beamed into the Pokéball as it started to shake. For 20 seconds it shook but after the 21 second it stopped shaking and gave a slight ding.

"Alright.... I just caught a Hawlucha"

"Way to go Ash" Serena said. "Not only you got a new Pokémon but Fletchling evolved into Fletchinder"

"Now you are at five Pokémon" Bonnie said. "How come you can catch all kinds of Pokémon that easily?"

"Well.... I got a lot of experience catching pokemon" Ash said scratching his cheek. "It's not that easy actually.... I guess I just make it look easy"

"So how many Pokémon do you have." Clemont asked

"Uh....... Well I have 5 with me and I'll say about 60 back at home"

"YOU HAVE 60 POKEMON" Bonnie shouted.

"Yah...... but a least half of them are just my Tauros'es"

"What do you mean?"

"I uh.... Kind of caught 30 Tauros in one day" he said scratching his cheek again but this time a bit nervously.

"You caught 30 Tauros in one day!" Serena said shocked.

"Uh......Why exactly?!?!"

"I Uh......... I'll explain later. Anyways lets continue to Shalour city, I think there is a town on the way there we can stop at before continuing"

The group then headed down the path with a new friend of Hawlucha and a new change in Fletchinder they continue their way to Shalour city.

"30 Tauros in one day?........*sigh* Sometimes Ash I just don't get you" Bonnie thought.

So Ash has Hawlucha and his Fletchling evolved, Good stuff good stuff.

Any ways I will be introducing a new character next chapter and I hope she can give the story a little push. Yes... I said she, it is a girl and if you hadn't noticed yet if you read the description of this story when I said I added a character to give it a push, that character was Lucas and I'm adding another.

The Character was inspired by a friend of mine on Wattpad named _Pika_ and I asked if she wanted to be in my story and she said yes. You probably heard of her and her work so be exited for the next chapter. But it is going to take some time for me to write the chapter so don't expect it to be done anytime soon.
