(Ash POV)

Me, Clemont, and Meowth are now outside what looks like an abandoned satellite station. We were following the Pikachu looking robot Clemont invented but...... it kind of backfired.

What happened was Clemont was right behind the bot while Meowth and I were not far behind. It leads us to this abandoned place with a fence all around it and it bumped into it. When it did fell on its side and it started to smoke and Clemont was trying to fix it.

"Uh.... Clemont I wouldn't mess with it" I said to him.

"Twerp what's going on?" Meowth asked.

"I got this I got this" he said worriedly. "I just need to......"

***BOOM***

Before he could even finish the robot exploded into a bunch of pieces and was now smoking. Fortunately, I was not close enough to it when it exploded so I didn't get caught in the blasted. Unfortunately, Clemont was right next to it when did explode and was now lying on his back covered in soot.

"Well.... So much for the robot" Meowth said.

"Aw..... I thought it would work for sure" Clemont said.

"Well... that makes my job easier, now I don't have to get rid of it"

"Huh?"

"Nothing" I said reassuring him. "Anyways it did work Clemont. I led us here this satellite station so that must be where that lady and her Malamar took Pikachu and the others"

"Also the blast from the explosion knocked down the fence so we can get through" Meowth said. "So your robot was not a....... total failure"

"Uh.... Thanks" Clemont said sweat dropping. 

"Anyways let's find everyone before that lady or Malamar finds us"

We walked pasted fence and made our way to the building. Before we entered we spotted a motorbike parked outside the maid building.

"Hey Ash do you see that" Clemont said pointing at the bike.

"Ya what do you suppose it's doing here"

"Wait a Minute" Meowth said as he took a closer look at the bike. "That's a police bike!"

"What!!!" Clemont and I said in union.

"Trust me twerp I know a police bike when I see one" Meowth said.

"So do you think an officer Jenney is here?"

"Most likely" Clemont said. "She could be here to stop whoever that lady is and her Malamar"

"Hopefully that Malamar didn't get to her, anyways lets go in"

We're inside the building and been walking around for 10 minutes now and still didn't find Pikachu or the others. I'm really worried what that Malamar is doing to them right now, especially Pikachu and Serena. Obviously Pikachu because he is my best friend and partner, as for Serena.... well... I don't know why exactly I'm worried so much about her. Sure we were childhood friends when we meet at summer camp but I don't think that's the only reason. There is about here that stood out to me then my other friends but I don't know what. But why is that? We're just friends right?......RIGHT?

As we continued down the hall Meowth stopped us.

"Hey twerps do you here that" Meowth said as his ears sprang up.

"What?"

"SHHHHH" he said as we continued to listen. "It sounds like footsteps"

We stayed quiet another minute in till Clemont and I could hear what Meowth is hearing. The sound of footsteps came down the hall as we hid behind a corner. As the footsteps became louder and louder it revealed that Jessie and James  were walking down the hall as they were looking for something.

"Were are those intruders?" Jessie said in a dead and cold tone.

"They must be close, let's keep looking" James said in the same tone.  They walked right pasted us as we were still hiding and they were now at the end of the hall looking in a different room.

*Phew* "That was close" said Clemont.

"They know that were here? How?"

"The explosion must of gave it away" Meowth said.

"Well... at least that we know for sure that everyone is here" Clemont said. "Now let's keep moving that Malamar finds us"

We continued down the hall for about 5 minutes in till we reached a big open room. At the far end of the room we saw something, or someone, lying against the wall tied up with their heads facing down.

"Who is that?" I said as I stepped closer to get a better look. "Is that...."

When we got close enough we were able to identify what was against the wall. It was... Is that..... IT IS!!!

"SERENA" I yelled. Next to her was Bonnie also tied up.

"BONNIE" Clemont yelled as we were running over to them.

"Ash........." said Serena in a cold tone "There you are......." That made me and Clemont stop in our tracks as we stared confused at them.

"Serena?"

"Bonnie?" said Clemont.

"Uh... guys" Meowth said. "I don't think they are in control"

As soon as Meow said that they lifted their head and show the same narrow eyes that Jessie and James had when we saw them in the forest. Oh no....... that Malamar...... I was too late, he hypnotized them.

"Come big brother....." Bonnie said in the cold tone. "Come and be with me.........."

"Oh no Ash Malamar did this to them" Clemont said.

"I know, this can't be happening" I panicked. I don't know what to do.

"There you are....." I heard someone said. I know that voice..... It had to be her. We slowly turned our heads towards the direction from where the voice was coming from. Standing from where we entered the room was none other than the person causing all of this madness to happen. Madame X and her Malamar,

"I see you found my little hideout" She said. "Though I will make you regret you ever did find it"

"Why you........" I said clenching. "Who are you? Why are you doing all this?"

"He he he......." She laughed softly. "As much I would love to tell you my plan, it will do you not good since you wound remember after I'm done with you" she said in a dark and dead tone. "This ends now"

Her Malamar began shining its bright hypnotic light as it came towards us.

"Oh do you don't" Meowth said. He then got out his claws as he used fury swipe on his face leaving scratch marks on his face.

"Good idea, do the same thing to me now"

"Alright" Meow said. "But remember you asked for it" he then jumped so he was level to my face and started using fury swipe on my face. Man... did it hurt. But I least I'm still in control of my own mind.

"Your next twerp" Meow said looking at Clemont with his claws still out.

"I uh..... I don't know if I want my faced scratched" he said taking a step back from Meowth. But it was too late for him, since the light was shining our way Clemont stared blankly in to as his eyes narrowed and became one of them.

"No.... Clemont" I said in horror. The stinging pain from the fury swipes kept me and Meowth in control of our own minds as we watched the mindless Clemont walk blanklessly to Serena and Bonnie.

"That trick wound work on us" I said facing her.

"Grrrr........ You will pay for resisting my power" she said. "And I have the perfect way of doing it"

She then stepped aside to reveal the hall way behind her. Coming out of the hall was a small like fugure walking out with its eyes narrowed and.... Wait..... is that.....

"Pikachu?" I asked.

"Pika........" it said in the same tone as Serena and everyone else as he started at me.

"No.........Pikachu" I said realizing what she had done.

"Now let's see what your Pikachu can do" she said. "Attack your former trainer"

Pikachu then sprinted forwards towards me as he was using quick attack. I just stood there getting ready to take the attack.

"Twerp what are you doing? Get out of the way" Meowth said. But I didn't move, I know my friends is still in there I just need to get him out.

"PIKACHU........" I yelled as he came towards me and made contact in the center of my body knocking me down to the ground as I grabbed him and held me tight.

"Now.... Use Thunderbolt" Madame X.

"Pik.....a....chuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu" he yelled as he shocked me filling me with his electricity.

"Ahhhh........Grrrrrrrr........" I said taking the attack. I begain taking to Pikachu as I got used to the electricity.

"Pikachu..... It's me..... Ash" he was still continuing with the thunderbolt as I continued talking to him.

"We have been through so much together. You remember right?" the thunderbolt was dying down a bit as I tried reasoning with him.

"You were there from the beginning of my journey. We had good times and bad but we went through them together. When we faced the Sparrow flock, caught my first Pokémon, won my first badge you were there" the thunderbolt was dying down a bit as I was getting through to him.

"Pika...." Is said as he looked at me.

"Don't worry Pikachu I'm staying right here no matter what"

Pikachu sten stopped using thunderbolt as he started blackly at me with his narrow eyes.

"Whatever you're doing twerp, It's working" Meowth said.

"Pika?" is said but in a slightly different tone.

"What are you doing? Why aren't you attacking" Madame X yelled. "I order you to continue your attack"

However, Pikachu closed his eyes as he shook his head as he felt a little dizzy. When he opened them again he was looking straight into my eyes. But instead of the narrow eyes from before it was his normal Pikachu eyes I know and love.

"Pikachu?" I said staring at him.

"Pika!" he said as he jumped on my shoulder.

"Pikachu! Your back" I said hugging him.

"It works twerp good job" Meowth said. "Wow.... I didn't really think it would work"

"What.... How did you break my control? Why you...... you will pay dearly" Madame X yelled.

The Malamar started to glow his eyes as me, Pikachu, and Meowth started floating into the air.

"Quick Pikachu use Thunderbolt"

"Pikachuuuuuuuuuuuu" he yelled as he unleashed a powerful thunderbolt midair as it hit Malamar dead on in the middle of its body.

"Mallllaaaa" it yelled in pain as it released its physic grip on us and we landed safely on the ground.

"Grrr... if I can't stop you with force perhaps I can use persuasion" She said as she turned to Malamar nodding.

Malamar nodded back as he use physic again but this time he was using it on Serena  that was still tied up in the cornerand was lifted into the air.

"Huh..... what are you doing?"

"Here is how it's going to work, you Meow and your Pikachu with stand down and let Malamar take control. If you show any resistance the girl is going to get it" she said.

"What!!!!" I yelled.

"Hey that's a cheap trick" Meowth said. he then sweatdropped because he did something simmer to Serena when he wanted information from professor Sycamore. "Uh.... This seems familiar"

"You can't do that"

"Heh heh heh...... I can and I will. So do we have a deal?" she said.

"What am I going to do? I can't let Serena get hurt. Sure she is my friend but why do I care more about her then everyone else?" I thought. "What is special about her?"

"Enough stalling" she said. "Give up now and I will spare your frie........"

"X SCISSOR" I heard someone yell. Before Madame X could finish something lighting fast jumped across the room and hit Malamar straight on in the face.

"MALLLLL......... it yelled in pain as he lost physic grip on Serena as she started to fall towards the ground.

"SERENA!!!" I yelled as I ran towards her. Before she could hit the ground I dove just in time and caught her in my arms as she closed her eyes and became unconscious in my arms. Just then Clemont, Bonnie, and even Madame X fell to the ground unconscious as Malamar fell to the ground from the attack.

"Uh twerp...." Meowth said. "What did you do?"

"I........don't know"

I then look over at what hit Malamar in the face. The figure was standing over Malamar looking down at it as he was facing away from us.

Wait....... I know that figure. It a Pokémon, not just any Pokémon its.....

"Gallade?" he then looked over at me and nodded.

"Good work Gallade" I heard someone said. Wait.... First the Gallade then the familiar voice. Is that....

"Ash.... You're here to I see" I looked over to the hall and saw someone walking towards me. "Good to see you again...."as the person came into the room the light shined on him and revealed that it was....

"Lucas!?!?" and standing nexted to him was none other than his Smeargle

He looked at me as he stepped near Madame X. "Hello Ash it been a while, man we should stop meeting like this"

"Huh..... what do you mean?"

"You know, me showing up when you are in some kind of trouble" he said.

"Oh....." I said sweatdropping. "Right........"

"YOU....." Meowth said. "Wow for once I'm happy to see you"

Lucas then turned to Meowth. "Ya..... I figured you were here. I saw your friends on the way in here and thought you were close by. By the way.... I took care of your friends." That made Meowth look shocked.

"WHAT!!!! Did you......."

"Relax, I just snuck up on then and knocked them out. There currently I tied up in the other room"

Then then the Malamar slowly got back up and look at its surroundings. It saw Lucas and his Gallade was here and that everyone else was knocked out. Lucas then turned to Malamar with a serious look.

"So.... You're the one behind all of this" he said.

"Huh? Lucas what are you talking about. It's all her doing" I said pointing at Madame X. He then looked down at her.

"Who... Her?" he said. "She's not the master mind she is a victim" he then bent down and grabbed the hood and rob on her and pulled it off of her. Me, Pikachu, and Meowth gasped on who was wearing the robs.

"Officer Jenny? What's going on?" Lucas then looked back at Malamar as he look back as Lucas with a devilish smile.

"Why don't you just confess, that Meowth over there can translate everything you say" Lucas yelled to Malamar. He just continued staring at Lucas as he started to speak

"Mal.... Mala mar mar mala ma"

"It's saying it was all part of his plan and that Officer Jenny got in the way" Meowth said as he continued translating. "He thinks that humans are weak and that they should not be the once controlling Pokemon but that Pokémon should be controlling them"

"But that not all isn't it Malamar" Lucas said. "Why don't you tell us what you were doing" Malamar continued talking as Meowth kelp translating.

"He said that he hypnotized Officer Jenny once he been discovered and used her as her puppet to do his bidding. Also he will use his hypnotic powers to control the minds of all of Kalos and then all the minds of everyone in the world."

"What!?!?" I can't believe what this Malamar is saying. "Malamar you got it all wrong, People don't control pokemon we're their friends and....."

"Mala mar mar" he said cutting me off.

"He said enough human, you can't fool me. You humans are all alike. Taking Pokémon for granted and make them do whatever to please. But no longer, soon all you people and any pokemon who gets in my way will become my slaves. Soon you'll all be my puppet and I'll be the puppet master" Meow said. "Geez this guy is crazy"

"But Malamar... you got it all...."

"Enough Ash" Lucas said. "It's too late for him, there is no point in reasoning with it anymore"

"Mal Mar....." Malamar said facing Lucas.

"Oh no.... he said he is going to get his revenge starting with you" Meowth said. Malamar then shined his hypnotic lights towards Lucas as he stared straight into them.

"LUCAS NO" I yelled in fear. I couldn't do anything I was too far away to do anything and Meowth could not get up to him and scratch his face to resist the light. When Malamar was done Lucas just stood then facing down not moving a musical. He then looked up at Malamar as I was expecting his eyes to be narrowed like everyone else. However when he looked up he looked...... normal.

"Mala?" Malamar said shocked that nothing happened

"You think a cheap trick like that is going to work on me?" Lucas yelled. "I spent years training my body and mind to resist just about anything that comes my way so nothing you can do can stop me. And do you really want to have a physic fight.... So be it." He then turned to Gallade. "Gallade Miracle Eye then use Physic"

His Gallade's eyes glowed as he identified the Malamar with his physic powers as he use Physic on Malamar as he yelled in pain. But he then shook it off as it seems like it did little damage.

"Ash.... I could use some help here" he yelled.

"Right Pikachu use Thunderbolt"

"You use Thunderbolt as well Smeargle" Lucas said. Both of our Pokémon unleashed electricity from its body as it body as it hit Malamar dead on causing him to yell even more in pain.  But he then got up again as he use physic on Pikachu as he started to lift into the air.

"Pikachu!!!!" I yelled.

"Quick Smeargle use Disable, Gallage Close Combat"

Smeargle made his eyes glow as Malamar started to glow red and lost his physic control on Pikachu and landed safely on the ground. Gallade then moved in and hit Malamar with powerful punches and kicks as he fell to the ground with his eyes closed from the pain.

"You might think you're the puppet master Malamar" Lucas said as he pulled out what looks like a black pokeball. "But there is no strings on me" he then threw the pokeball at Malamar. As it made contact Malamar was sucked into the pokeball as it started to shake. After like 15 seconds I dinged showing that it was caught. It then teleported away to where I presume is his PC box.

"There....." he said breathing heavily from the throw. "That will put an end to your conspiracy"

"You.... You caught it?" I said in disbelief.

"I had to, that Pokémon is too dangerous to leave in the wild" he said. "But now it's at HQ were it will be under tight watch"

"HQ? What are you talking about?"

He then sweat dropped noticing that he said too much. "Uh...... Ash. I have something to explain to you"

(Normal POV)

Ash, Pikachu, and Lucas were now outside the satellite station with Clemont, Bonnie, Serena, and Officer Jenny still unconscious lying on the ground next to them. They left Meowth back at the satellite station because Lucas and Gallade refused to carry Jessie and James out of the building so Meowth is staying with then until they wake up.

Lucas was giving some explanation to Ash on what he meant my HQ and why he was their without giving to much information away.

"So...... you like a spy?" Ash asked.

"Errr..... sort of" he said. "Let's just say I'm part of an organization that helps keeps the peace in Kalos from threats like that Malamar"

"Really? That so cool. But I thought you said you were a Pokémon trainer"

"I am... but like I said back in Lumiose City, I have a job outside of being a trainer"

"So how did you know I was here?"

"I didn't I got a report of an Officer Jenny gone missing for 2 weeks and I came to investigate, I just so happen to run into you in the process"

"I see..... so.... Have you battled all the gyms in Kalos already?" Ash asked.

"Yes I have, I battled them about a year ago" he said.

"Really.... I'm actually heading to Shalour City for my third badge. Can you give my some hints about how to........"

Before Ash could even finish his sentence the watch in Lucas's wrist beeped as  he took a look at it.

"Sorry Ash as mush I would love to chat I gave to go, I need to take Officer Jenny here back to HQ and give my report on what happened. " Lucas said as he stood up and got ready to leave.

"Wait.... What about my friends?" he asked.

"They'll be fine, they should be awake in about 10 minutes or so" Lucas said. "Also when they wake up don't tell them about the 'conspiracy' Malamar was trying to accomplish they don't need to know, also don't tell them about my 'job', you can tell them about me but that's it, any ways see ya"

"But wait... why did you leave me back in......" Before Ash could finish. Lucas was already gone with his  Smeargle, Gallade, and Officer Jenny as Smeargle used Teleport and in a blink of an eye he was gone. Ash just stood there shocked that he just left again leaving him with even more questions "Not again........"

"Pika...." Pikachu said scratching the back of his head. About 8 minutees later Ash saw that Serena started to move her head slightly as she and everyone else was about to regain conscious.

"Serena?" Ash said as he went over to her and was facing over her. She slowly opened her eyes as her blurry vision became clear little by little. When her vision became clear she saw that Ash was facing over her.

"Ash........?" she said softly.

"Don't worry Serena I'm here" he said. "It ok the Malamar is gone, your safe now"

"It is?" she said. she then realized that Ash down right at her as her checks became a slight shade of pink. "Did.... Uh... did you stop him?"

"Well..... yes" Ash said. "But there is a lot more to the story"
