So starting off the New Years with a Platonic Request, with a Meowscarda and Reader being preformance partners, so let's do this!

Your team consists of the following Pokémon:

(F) Altaria
(F) Primarina

So that's your team! Your Ace, of course, is Meowscarda! The magical cat and star of the show! Err... Or should I say one-shot? Hehe- ^.^"

Fun fact, on Christmas, I finally gave my s/o her Pokémon Scarlet game, and we're playing it together, and she chose Sprigatito while I chose Quaxly again. She named her starter after me, so I named my 2nd Quaxly after her. So far our playthrough is just.... Stupidly hilarious and fun! Like we even gave the Director a Patrick Star voice, and we just joked around so far. Only thing is, Panda doesn't like Arven... Yet-

I'mma try to show her his redemption Arc though so :D

Anyways, I'mma stop hyperfixating on our progress so I can start writing the one-shot.

(Y/n) walked through the town with her bipedal cat as she spoke on her phone with her agent.

"Penelope, listen, I just made it to Levincia, calm down." She said to the woman on the phone, "I've got enough time before me and my team have to preform. Besides we've got about, what, a few hours?"

Meowscarda purred then made a loud mew before licking his paw and wiping his cheek.

"Me and my team should be ready by then." She said as her Rotom Phone zoomed around her in a circle, "Besides, I'm pretty sure this preformance isn't gonna get ruined by anyone I don't think."

Penelope sighed, "I know, (Y/n), but I'm just worried, you know? I may be your agent, but me and you've been friends since Uvanaraja Academy, y'know...? I just worry about you."

(Y/n) smiled softly, "I know, Penelope, I know... But you don't have to worry about me, it's not like we're in Kanto or something. I can defend myself, isn't that right, Meowscarda?"

"Meowsca~!" He said as he hugged his trainer tightly, "Meow meow!"

Penelope giggled softly and smiled, "Alright then... Just, stay safe okay...? If anything happened to you, I wouldn't know what I would be able to do or how to even tell Nemona, Penny, Aria, or Arven."

(Y/n) took a moment of silence, it's been a while since she's heard their names. She seemed a bit sad hearing their names, since they haven't hung out in a while since Nemona took over Greeta's place in the League, Aria went off to become a Singing Therapist, Arven trained to become a chef for people and Pokémon, and Penny became part of the League helping with League Points.

Meowscarda noticed this and pet his trainer on the head, trying to cheer her up. (Y/n) smiled slightly as she pet his head softly, "Thanks buddy..." She then looked back to her phone, "Anyways, me and my team are gonna go prepare for the show. I'll talk to you later Penelope."

Penelope nodded, "Right, I'll talk to you later, break a leg out there everyone!" The call ended and (Y/n)'s Rotom Phone flew back into her pocket.

(Y/n) looked out into the distance, she seemed nervous, but nonetheless, she felt excited. "Maybe, after this preformance Meowscarda, we should pay everyone a visit once again. What do you think, boy?"

(Y/n) turned around, then noticed her Meowscarda was playing with her ponytail that she had her hair in, "Meowscarda! No, don't mess with my ponytail, if you mess it up, then I'll have to get it redone!"

Meowscarda snickered and laughed before picking up his trainer and putting her on his shoulders. (Y/n) sighed, but smiled at the gesture, "Do I take that as a yes for the question I asked before you messed with my hair?"

He nodded then started to walk to their destination, carrying her on his shoulders the whole way there.

"So, the raid in Levincia is happening soon?" Said a man in a black outfit with a letter 'R' on his shirt.

"Yep, Boss said that a trainer with some rare and strong Pokémon are gonna be there, so we've gotta get them while they're there." Said another as they picked up a ball containing a Gyarados.

"You sure they'll be there? I mean, the boss said they could be there, but how does he know?"

"Dunno, but he's the boss, and y'know what we gotta do when the boss asks."

"Well, alright then. I'll bring this Charizard and Amoongus of mine so this'll be a piece of cake for us. They got some pretty good movesets like Spore and Sleep Powder. As long as there's no grass types, we should be fine."

"Alright then, that's good. Now let's get going, we got a job to do."

"30 minutes before you go out into the crowd to the Gym's field, Daydreams." Said a man as he tapped a pen on his clipboard, "Be ready by then, and you'll be good to go." He walked out of the room as a woman around (Y/n)'s age did her makeup and helped her get her outfit ready. Terra had rainbow colored hair and wore different shades of green.

Meowscarda, Sylveon, Cinderace, Lycanroc, Altaria, and Primarina had their costumes on as they all seemed excited to go out and show off their looks. The one who was most excited was Meowscarda, since his outfit matched (Y/n)'s perfectly.

"So, Mistress, are you excited for tonight's preformance?" Asked the woman doing her make-up, Terra, "You get to preform in the second largest city in Paleda, and with the Gym Leader streaming your show!"

(Y/n) grinned, "Oh, I don't know... For some reason, it's nerve-wracking, but I'm excited for it." She said as she stared at her Pokémon as they practiced poses, "Besides, after this one, I'm going to visit some of my friends from before I became a performer. It's been a while since I last seen them, so I'm excited to go see them again if I can find them."

Terra nodded, "That's nice, seeing friends after a while is really good for mental health, and it is important to stay in touch with your friends after a while of being away from them for a while." She then looked at your Meowscarda, "So, another small question, why did you choose Meowscarda as your Ace?"

(Y/n) could feel a smile appear on her face, "Why?" She asked as Meowscarda quickly ran to her side as it gave a happy but mad look, "Because he's my first Pokémon, and because we've been through a lot together. Through thick and thin, we went through heck and back, dealing with strong beasts and tough trainers, we've fought tooth and claw together. He's my best bud and I wouldn't trade him for the world."

Terra smiled softly, then nodded, finishing up the finishing touches of (Y/n)'s dress. "Well, I hope you can make the crowd shake with awe. You both have been through a lot from what I can tell, so make this preformance as good as any." She turned to your other team members, "That goes for them too, don't hold back out there!"

As soon as she was done, the stage manager walked back in and called her out, "Destiny's Daydream needs to be out on stage, now! The New Years Special ain't gonna preform itself!"

(Y/n) walked out in the center of the field, the crowd roaring in excitement.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! Introducing our preformers of the stage themselves!" Iono called out as her Rotom Phone zipped out of her jacket and around the field, "You're looking at our very own... Destiny's Daydream!"

The crowd was loud, most people even throwing flowers before the preformance even started. (Y/n) looked down at the ground, her Meowscarda standing back to back with her as they both covered their faces with one hand and paw.

The crowd went silent, they waited for them to make a move.

(Y/n) then yelled out, "Meowscarda use-!"

Before (Y/n) could finish her sentence, a loud noise along with smoke surrounded the area. Everyone, including (Y/n) started to cough, the smoke slowly fading.

"Wh-what-?" She said as she waved some of the smoke from her vision, "What's going-?"

"Sorry to put a damp on this show, Everyone, but we'll be taking your Pokémon now!" Called out a voice.

"Who are you!?" (Y/n) yelled out as she grabbed her Lycanroc's Pokéball, Meowscarda growling defensively.

"Have you never heard of Team Rocket, girl?" The voice called out as two Team Rocket Members appeared right in front of her, "Such a shame. Oh well, this would make this easier to take your Pokémon then."

(Y/n) stood shocked in place, 'Son of a Brute Bonnet-' She mentally cursed herself. She shouldn't have said that Team Rocket would attack.

"You are not taking my Pokémon!" She said as she sent out her Lycanroc, "Not over my dead body!"

The Team Rocket member scoffed, "Hmph, stubborn, aren't you?" Another member said as he sent out his Gyarados, "Fine then, I guess we'll just have to take them by force instead!"

"Heh, this'll be easy." Said the first one sending out his Charizard, "Prepare to go down, lady!"

(Y/n) tossed out her Lycanroc and Cinderace, "Lycanroc! Cinderace! Come on, we've got some problems to deal with!" She said as the two Pokémon made their sounds, then took their battle stances.

"Gyarados! Hit Cinderace with an Outrage!" Said the second member, his Gyarados attempting to charge into the Rabbit Pokémon.

"Charizard, hit Lycanroc with a Fire Fang!" Said the first as the Charizard flew towards the Wolf Pokémon opening its mouth widely, flames engulfing its mouth as it opened.

"Cinderace, counter it with Electro Ball! And Lycanroc, bring it down with Rock Tomb!" (Y/n) called out.

Lycanroc growled before picking up some large rocks that it gathered in its fur and tossing them down onto the Firey Dragon Pokémon, causing it to fall to the ground before it could land an attack, while on the other hand, Gyarados was hit, but continued to charge into Cinderace, landing a critical hit and knocking Cinderace out.

The first member returned his Charizard, "Dang, the boss was right, their Pokémon are strong..."

The second agreed, "Yeah, this lady is stronger than she looks. But nothing Gyarados and Amoongus can't handle!"

(Y/n) returned Cinderace, giving it's Pokéball a small squeeze, "Good job, boy, you did well..." She then grabbed her Sylveon's Pokéball, "Go Sylveon! Use Moonblast on Gyarados!"

Sylveon popped out of it's ball, then squealed before gathering a ball of light, then tossing it at the Pokémon, finishing it off. The Team Rocket members seemed to be on edge.

"We'll need the last Pokémon. If this trainer is that strong, we'll need to play our way."

"Agreed. COME ON OUT AMOONGUS! Use Spore on the Lycanroc and Sylveon!"

Amoongus appeared from its ball, the Pokémon angered from being awoken, it made a small screeching noise before rushing to Sylveon and shaking its head, causing a powder to fall from its head.

Sylveon attempted to hold its nose, but failed, and fell asleep.

"Sylveon!" (Y/n) yelled before returning it to it's Pokéball, "Return, now!"

After she returned Sylveon, Amoongus did the same thing to Lycanroc causing it to fall asleep as well.

The battle was at a standoff. Altaria and Primarina had attempted to deal with the Amoongus, even almost KOing the Amoongus, but getting put to sleep as it used Spore on them before they could get another hit on it.

(Y/n) could feel herself quivering, the only Pokémon she had left was Meowscarda, but she didn't know what he could do...

"Meowsca!" Said Meowscarda as he leaped in front of his trainer, "Meowsca meow!"

"Meowscarda...?" (Y/n) said as she stared at her partner Pokémon in front of her, "What are you...?"

Then it clicked, her partner is a Grass Type. How could she have forgotten!

"Amoongus use Spore once again, and get this over with!" Said the Team Rocket Grunt as Amoongus hopped quickly towards the cat Pokémon then released a powder onto it.

"Meowscarda! Use Grassy Terrain, then hit it with a Power Gem!" (Y/n) called out.

Meowscarda smirked then made a pose as it stomped the ground lightly, grass covering the field. Amoongus stood in confusion then screeched fearfully before hopping away from it trying to avoid damage. Meowscarda seemed content as he raised his hands, then snapped his finger claws. Sparkling jewels appeared behind before shooting rays of light at the Pokémon, finally finishing of the Pokémon, causing it to fall to the ground.

"Wh-what-?!" Said the Team Rocket member as he returned the Amoongus, "How did you-!"

"Meowscarda here's a Grass type." (Y/n) grinned before she shook her finger in a disapproving way, "Now, I thought you knew Spore doesn't work on other Grass Types."

The two men backed away, before attempting to run off, but being stopped by a few authorities and the gym leader Iono herself, "Augh... You won't away with this-! Team Rocket will get your Pokémon and your gimmicks someday!" One said as he was being taken away.

(Y/n) only snickered as she looked to her Meowscarda, "Yeah, and one day, I'll be Arceus."

Meowscarda snickered along with her, then posed heroically, giving a content sound, "Meow meow meowscar!"

(Y/n) hugged him tightly, "You did amazingly out there, bud! You saved me back there!" She said as she then pet his head softly, "If you weren't there, I'd have already lost you all..."

Meowscarda smiled, purring at her touch, then starting up a hug again, this time hugging her tighter than before. "Meow~!"

"Well, guess we're gonna have to reschedule the preformance..." Said the manager as he put his pen in his shirt pocket, "Here's your pay for the troubles Miss (Y/n), sorry this all happened."

(Y/n) sighed, "It's... It's fine." She said as she looked at the ground before putting her head down and taking the money, then walked out the room, Meowscarda following suit, "Well, Meowscarda, guess we'll have to visit the others some other time..."

Meowscarda purred, "Meowsca! Meow meowscarda!" He said before picking up (Y/n) again and tossing her over his shoulder.

"Meowscarda! Where are we going?!" (Y/n) yelled out as Meowscarda continued running, "Meowscarda-!" She was then abruptly put down by the bipedal cat.

"Meowsca~!" He said after sitting her down.

(Y/n) sighed, "Look, if you're hungry, then we'll go-"

"Oh my goodness, is that...?" Said a familiar voice.

"Oh my Arceus in Paleda, it is!" Said another.

"(Y/n), is that really you, Little Buddy?" Said another VERY familiar voice.

"She hasn't changed too much from before, why are you all thinking she's changed?"

(Y/n) slowly turned around, realizing who the voices were, "Is that who I think it is Meowscarda...?"

Meowscarda purred, "Meow~!"

"Aria! Nemona! Arven! Penny!" (Y/n) said as she teared up and ran towards them.

"(Y/n)!" They said as they were all engulfed in a hug, (long/short) arms wrapping around all four of them.

Meowscarda smiled at the sight, feeling the joy of his trainer irradiate from her.

(Y/n) then released from the hug, "How did you all know where we were?" She asked with curiosity in her voice.

Aria spoke up, "Ah, well... You see, Meowscarda called me on your Rotom Phone. It told me in sign language to look at the TV, and when I saw it, you were having trouble in a fight, so-"

Nemona intercepts, "Aria called me, Arven, and Penny, and we all gathered together at Mesagoza, then-"

Arven interrupts Nemona, "Then we got two flying taxis since they only carry three people and came here,"

Penny sighed, then finished the sentence, "Then we got here, and you'd already defeated those guys, so we just decided to pay you a visit, y'know? Just to check up on you."

(Y/n) wiped the tears from her eyes, yet, they still kept spilling, no matter how much she wiped them, then hugging them all again.

Meowscarda then looked down as he waited for them to be finished with their hug and to be put back in his ball.

"Hey, Meowscarda, don't think you're getting out of this! Get over here and in this hug!" (Y/n) said to him as he looked confused. He walked up to the group, but was then quickly dragged into the hug.

He was confused, but hugged them all as well, as he hugged them all, he could hear his trainer say something quietly, so that only he could hear.

"Thank you, Meowscarda..." She said quietly, "Thank you for bringing all of my treasures back... and thank you for being one of my greatest treasures."
