Okay, well, maybe I am cause this is SUPER late and kind of a one-short cause I had 0 ideas-

Anyways, so let's see, Barry and a Male Reader?

Hmm, I wasn't given a specific plot, so maybe I guess this one, I gotta think of my own plot.

I kinda had this idea one night while I was going to sleep, so I hope it's a good story for y'all!

"Alright Empoleon! Use Drill Peck on that rock!" Barry called out to his Empoleon as it charged towards the rock and twirled, it's beak drilling into the rock as it smashed it to pieces.

A Championship was starting in Pasio once again and Barry and his friend (Y/n) were on the beach practicing for it.

"Come on, (Y/n)! You and Pikachu should start practicing with us!" Barry said with excitement in his voice as the said boy was laying in the sand as his partner Pokémon, which definitely was NOT a Pikachu by the way, slept curled in the sand.

"I'll join you in a moment, Barry, I just gotta finish up this nap really quick." (Y/n) said yawning as he turned his back to the sun and lied his head on his arms, while his Zoura, named Pikachu, turned on it's back.

Barry huffed at (Y/n) before once again going back to training his Empoleon on rocks on the beach. (Y/n) only chuckled a little before petting Pikachu, then going back to his nap.

After an hour of training, Barry and his Empoleon were finally done training for the day, "Phew, I think that was enough training for today, wasn't it, Empoleon?" He said as the Penguin Pokémon let out a roar of triumph and smirked before staring to the right in realization of something.

Barry started to look towards where his Empoleon was staring and spoke, "Hmm? What are you staring at, Emp-!"

(Y/n) was nowhere to be found.

"(Y/n)? (Y/n)?!" Barry said as he looked around the area (Y/n) was last seen at, "Where'd he go?"

Empoleon looked at his trainer in a panic as it shrugged holding its flippers up in defense.

"Well, he's gotta be around here somewhere..." Barry said as he attempted to push a nearby rock to the side to check behind it, "You know what time it is Empoleon?"

Empoleon tilted it's head in confusion, before Barry pointed to the sky and yelled out.

"It's Search for (Y/n) Time!"

"Hey Pikachu, what flavor of Ice Cream do you want?" (Y/n) asked their fluffy fox Pokémon as it pointed to the Mint flavored ice cream on the menu of the ice cream stand.

"Zu za! Zurawf!" Zoura chirped.

"Really? You want mint?" (Y/n) said as he shook his head, "I mean, I'll get you that flavor, but I'm pretty sure (f/flavor) would be a good choice for you~!"

Pikachu's eyes slanted before headbutting (Y/n)'s head.

"Oww! Okay, okay, I'll get you Mint! Jeez..." said (Y/n) rubbing his head as he payed the ice cream server.

"(Y/n)? Are you here?" Barry called out as his Empoleon followed behind him and cawed out.

"Hey Barry!" (Y/n) said smiling and waving out to him, making Barry whip his head towards him, "Over here, hon~!"

"(Y/n)-!" Barry said before he fell to the ground tripping on the rug of the ice cream shop.

"Oh shoot-! You okay dude?" (Y/n) said as he rushed over to him and held out his hand to him.

Barry lifted his head and shook his head like a Poochyena that had just got out of a rainstorm and took (Y/n)'s hand, "Y-Yeah, I'm good..." He said blushing a little, "But I searched everywhere for you and I couldn't find you anywhere!"

"Hehe..." (Y/n) chuckled a bit guiltily, "sorry Bluebarry, Pikachu and I were getting kinda bored just waiting for you to finish training, so we decided to go get some ice cream while we were waiting."

"Well, you could've told me while I was training!" He huffed, crossing his arms, "I wouldn't have had to travel all the way around Pasio! I even had to search in the ocean because I thought you might've gotten dragged in by the waves, or even a Pokémon!"

"You did all of that to find me?"

"Of course!" He said a little bit irritated before taking a moment and speaking once more, "And since you were here getting ice cream while I looked for you..."

He grabbed (Y/n)'s hands and pulled him in as he hovered his face near (Y/n)'s. (Y/n) stared into his eyes, shocked, nervous, and curious on what he was going to ask for.

As their faces grew closer, (Y/n)'s face grew even redder. A fire was burning in his stomach as Barry came closer, before he closed his eyes and pulled him in for a kiss, causing Barry's face to grow in a blush as well and making his eyes widen in suprise.

(Y/n) ended the kiss and opened his eyes slowly, noticing this before he asked, ".... Was that not what you were gonna ask for-?"

Barry took a moment, before he spoke, "N-No, I was gonna say that I was gonna have to fine you."

(Y/n) seemed embarrassed at what he had done and turned his head down, but before he could turn his head down completely, Barry placed two fingers under his chin lifting his head up.

"But I think that will suffice for the fine." He grinned before giving (Y/n) a small peck on his head.

Stuff just happened and since I'm becoming 18 soon, I'm having to finish thinking about how I'm gonna live and get my grades in school up.

I named mine Seto Kaiba cause it looks kinda like him for some reason-
