S2 Ep. 11 The Eeveelutions of New Dice City

-POV: Ella Eon the Sylveon

{THE SAME AFTERNOON.}

(IN CASE YOU DO NOT REMEMBER NOTE: An older sister [but not the oldest] in the Eon family, consisting of all the Eeveelutions.)

The spring dance was a total mess! Some obnoxious yet amazingly cool Squirtle ditched me for one of his six other girlfriends... (He said I was the best out of all of them...) You know what. I'm just never going to be happy again...

BOOM!

What the heck was-

BOOM!

"LYRIC! WHAT WAS THAT?!" I shouted from across my house to my older sister who was in the kitchen.

    "WHAT?!"

"I SAID! LYRIC! WHAT WAS THAT?!" I yelled again.

"WHY DON'T YOU COME INTO THE KITCHEN! I HAVE THE SINK RUNNING AND I CAN'T HEAR YOU FROM THE LIVING ROOM!"

"WELL HOW THE HECK CAN YOU HEAR THAT?! I CAN HEAR YOU!" I continued.

"Everyone shut up! GALE IS CALLING ME!"

"GLACE! Nobody cares!" I yelled at her as she stumbled into the room with a phone to her ear.

Glace was literally an emotional wreck after the night of the spring dance just three days ago. She expected Gale to come even though she's in college and was there as a chaperone. (Plus, Gale even said he wasn't going to look stupid in front of all the other agents and crash a high school dance for his crazy yet pretty girlfriend.) Now she's going bonkers over him finally calling back three days later on Monday afternoon. I ignored Lyric's shouting from the kitchen and listened in on Glace's conversation.

"Look out the window... Uh... No, I totally understand... What do you mean I'm still not looking out the window... Mantyke Colony... THEY WHAT?! They were such wimps when I was in school... I know, I shoved them into lockers... Fine, I'll look..." she put the phone down from her ear, "Ella, go look out the window," and continued mumbling on the phone. I obliged, not because I feared Glace, I was just curious about what was going on. I walked over to a window at the back of our house. At first, I just saw my four-year-old sister Eve and her 'boyfriend' (I'm not jealous) Mark, a little orphan Mudkip playing around with a beach ball in the grass of our fenced backyard. When I looked towards the horizon, however, I saw what Gale was probably trying to warn us about. Off in the distance, a huge moving structure made its way forward, towards the general direction of New Dice City.

    "LYRIC!"

"I TOLD YOU TO COME IN THE KITCHEN!"

"Oh yeah. Sorry," I mumbled as I skipped over.

Lyric had seemed to have spotted the disaster I had seen as well because she stopped what she was doing and dialed a phone.

"I'm calling Mark's legal guardians, Tori and Tobias, to come pick him up so they can get him to a safer place," Lyric said as she waited for an answer.

Nobody picked up. She kept calling over and over again. I turned to our front door to see Eve and Mark hop in.

"There's something rumbling outside!" Eve cheered.

"Yep. It was like, this, big" Mark said as he waved his little stub feet apart to represent a larger size. Conveniently, Tobias finally picked up.

"Hey, what's up. You called like ten times," I heard a voice say through the phone.

"I need you guys to come pick up Mark. Haven't you looked outside? Where are you, Tobias?" Lyric questioned.

"Um. Sasha the Buneary's birthday party..."

    "Just come pick him up."

    "On it."

Just as Lyric finished the phone call, Glace tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around to see her whispering in my ear.

"Come hop in the car with your brother Jay and me. Gale told me to meet him at his house."

Normally, agreeing with my crazy sister is a bad idea, especially when it's to get into a car with her, because she's had several driving tickets over the past month. But I'd rather go with her than deal with the crazy household.

    "Sure," was my response.

-POV: Tobias the Treecko

I put the car in park and waited in the Eon family's driveway for Mark to come out. Tori, my loud and obnoxious Torchic girlfriend (friend who is a girl yet I show no romantic interest into!) sat in the passenger's seat right next to me.

"Could you please not put your feet up? You'll scratch up the dashboard," I told her.

"Why do you care? It's just a car," she responded with her mouth full of a donut.

"WHAAAT?! I am disgusted. Utterly disgusted that you don't appreciate the sleek and modern design of this car. Dark black leather interior, lined with mahogany wood, and platinum colored metal siding make this care a deluxe and luxury mode of transportation. Nothing you would ever get," I finished.

"Mark's here," she mumbled while shoving the donut in her hand down her face. The door clicked open and Mark hopped in.

    "Hello guys!" he smiled.

"Hi bud. We gotta get you back. The robot apocalypse is practically beginning," I mentioned as I put the car in drive and lightly tapped the gas pedal.

"You might wanna go faster than that if robots are taking over the world, you old lady," Tori commented. I ignored her. The rumbling of the ground had gotten increasingly louder.

"Hey Mark, you got your seatbelt on?" I asked as an attempt to get Tori to shut up.

"Yes sir. Can I say that I love you?" Mark answered.

"Uh. Love you too bud," was all I could think of as a response. Mark is so passionate about everything. No wonder he already has a girlfriend... I looked back over at Tori.

"YOU ARE GETTING DONUT FROSTING ALL OVER THE SEAT!" I shouted. I pulled over and stopped the car. (Oddly enough, there weren't any other cars around.)

"Aren't you gonna keep going?" Tori asked.

"No! I am not going to sit here and see such a beautiful piece of craftsmanship put to death by a slob," I said.

"Hey. I love joking around and calling you names as response, but this time we should move," Tori implied with a bit of urgency.

"What's gotten into to you? Usually this is the part where you make a comeback calling me uptight," I said.

"Well, we're underneath it right now."

    "Underneath what!?"

"That giant moving structure that used to be in the distance. You stopped and let it move right on top of us. Now, I'd get going if I were you," Tori finally explained. With no hesitation, I slammed the gas pedal and jolted us forward. Oddly enough, we moved forward, and up...

"Did I just hit a ramp or something?"

"My tummy feels bubbly!" Mark happily added from his car seat in the back. I turned out the window to see that we were floating in the air.

    "What is happening?"

I looked up through the (deluxe) car's sunroof to see that we were quickly approaching a large tube.

"I have no idea," was all that Tori uttered as she watched around in shock as well. We soon entered the tube and were engulfed in darkness. I heard the sound of machinery and hydraulics. Soon, everything halted, and we were on solid ground. There was no light to show any of the features of the room except a small light above a door. We all hopped out of the car to investigate. I went over to the door with Tori and Mark behind me. They had a welcome mat.

Really?

I opened the door to be greeted with, a welcome desk, a waiting room, and a happy looking Mantyke behind the desk with a clipboard and pencil in front of him.

"Oh, hello! Welcome, welcome! How was the travel? Johannsen hoped it would be comfortable and quick," the Mantyke greeted.

"Uh. Hi. What is all of this?" I asked.

"Sign your name, date of birth, allergies, gender, favorite color, and Pokemon species on the sheet please. Use the rainbow pencil provided."

I started to write my information when he started babbling in his shrill and cheerful Mantyke voice again.

"Johannsen and the Mantyke Colony strive for equality among all Pokemon. Although, Mantykes are so far, the only Pokemon species to comply. That's why we decided to use force and friendly capturing to begin enlightening all of you into Mantyke way! Once you are all finished writing, please wait in one of the lovely ocean-blue chairs for attendants to come and take you to your place of staying. Thank you for your compliance! Do not try to call anyone for help. First of all, you'll be happy once when you've converted, second, we've cut off any communications with the outside world. In about a couple of hours, we'll be planted in the middle of New Dice City and prepared for its takeover. Once when the major hub of the country is taken over, it's a matter of time before the entire Pokemon population is included in the Mantyke Philosophy!" the Mantyke cheered. I sat down in the chair in shock. There is nothing we can do. Mark, Tori, and I are not even main characters. (You're probably really confused on who the heck we are.)

-POV: Ella

I'm glad I went with Glace for once, because that huge moving structure that Glace said was Mantyke Colony has passed over our house and for some reason, I've lost connection with any of my siblings. Glace's van was filled with Glace in the driver's seat, me in the passenger's seat, Jay in the middle row, and my younger sister Eurika the Vaporeon.

"Why did she have to come?" Jay mumbled.

"Because she threatened to murder us if we didn't," I answered. Eurika silently twirled a small knife as she stared out the window.

"Now, why are we going to Gale's house?" I asked Glace.

"Oh, that's simple! You see, I've told you that he's a secret spy agent. But what I didn't tell you was that his house has a secret spy lab that nobody should know about in the basement. So shhhhh. Don't tell anyone. Otherwise the government would have to kill you," Glace said.

"What if I wanna kill them first?" Eurika piped in.

"What if I just kill myself and save them the trouble?" Jay moaned in his depressed voice.

"You all are hopeless!" I shouted.

We finally arrived at Gale's smaller-scale house. Glace quickly ran up to the door and used her key to get in.

"Welcome to Gale's house!" she gestured as we all shuffled in. The place was just as average as the outside. A small living room with a sofa, TV, and a coffee table is what the house consisted of along with an even smaller kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. Just as we all single-filed down a tiny hall from the bedroom, another door opened and out walked a surprised Absol that I assumed was Gale.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" he shouted in a stressed-out voice.

"We came like you asked!" Glace smiled.

"I told you to get your family away from New Dice City! I told you that the Mantyke Colony is planning to take over New Dice City and that it's not safe here!" Gale retorted.

"Uh! I came to see you in the midst of chaos and not even a single thanks?! What has our love become?!" Glace dramatically cried.

"Glace, calm down. He just wanted to protect you," I said in an effort to diffuse the situation. She sniffled a bit and spoke.

"That is so sweet and heroic of you, Gale! I love you soooo much!" she cried as she ran over and hugged Gale. Gale rolled his eyes and returned the hug.

"Well, since you're here, I could use some help. Can you give a quick call to Legend?" Gale asked.

"Sure. Why you ask?" I questioned.

"Well, the whole colony's communications are blocked out. We need to be able to know what's going on before we can do anything to help," Gale explained.

"Oh yeah! And Legend is one of the bosses at the local radio station! He can probably do something to give access to a form of communication!" I realized!

Vrbbbb.

Vrbbbb.

The phone rang three more times until Legend, my oldest sibling an Umbreon, answered.

"Whatup, Ella," Legend responded in his laid-back voice.

"Um. Hi. Where are you? It sounds like there's a lot of noise in the background! Sorry for shouting!" I said.

"I'm at Mr. Dino's Monday afternoon part in the teacher's lounge. The perks of being a volunteer helper at your high school are big. You should try it sometimes..." he mumbled.

"Uh, ok. Look, I need you to stop being perpetually half-drunk for a minute and go drive over to your office at the radio station and setup a channel for communications quickly," I told him.

"It'll be sloppy and makeshift if you need it that fast. Why so urgent?" he asked. I explained the situation to him and he said he'd be on it. I put my phone down once when we were finished.

"So, will it work?" Jay asked.

"If he can get there. We'll have to wait and see," I said.
