So this isn't Pokémon, but it's me being fricken ticked with Nintendo and life

So my brother's 3DS has some stupid parental restrictions from years ago that we cannot reset for the FRICKEN LIFE OF US (me, mom, bro) because we can NEVER remember his pin code
It's no one's fault, because my mom doesn't need to remember this stuff but my brother and I never need the pin code until situations like this and then we don't remember anything

My brother and I wanted to play Fantasy Life together because we just got a second cartridge (of which the entire POINT of getting was so that we could play together) but NOOOO STUPID OUTDATED PARENTAL RESTRICTIONS STOP US FROM DOING SO

My mom tried typing in possible answers to the pin and the fricken secret question (I find those even harder to remember than the actual fricken pin) and she said she isn't going to make the call tonight

I tried making the call, only to find it has a 50 cent charge to a credit card to ensure kids can't try it

I tried downloading this thing from the Internet, only to find its algorithm or whatever is outdated and the producer could not get past the new security stuff to get the master key to reset pin codes that way

And now I'm trying to see if removing the SD card and doing a factory reset will let us keep our save data but reset the pin and all the old parental controls but it seems part of the Nintendo support stuff are down
