Phe's POV, The Next Day

I woke up and saw Eevee was gone. I got up and went to the kitchen. Ryu was cooking breakfast. Eevee and Scorbunny were eating.

Ryu: morning Phe"

: morning Ryu"

Ryu: How did you sleep?"

: good, you?"

Ryu: good as well"

Ryu placed some food on a plate and smiled at me. I went over to Ryu and gently kissed Ryu's cheek. Ryu kissed my forehead and smiled. I took the plate and went to the dining table. Ryu joined me at the table and started eating 30 minutes later we were at the Professor's house. Leon was batting Ryu not using his Charizard. I was going to battle him next. I saw something out of the corner of my eye, a Nickit was lamping. I slowly walked over to it and showed it my hand. Nickit sniffed my hand and let me pick Nickit up. Ryu and Leon ran over to me.

Ryu: it looks hurt"

Leon: let's take Nickit inside"

I followed Ryu inside. I gently placed Nickit on the couch and saw Ryu making something in the kitchen with the Professor's help.

Leon: Phe you noticed this Pokemon was hurt before anyone of us noticed, you have an eye for it"

I smiled and saw Ryu coming over to me.

Ryu: I made some medicine for Nickit and a cast for it too"

I sat down next to Nickit and helped Ryu put the cast on. Ryu gave Nickit some of the medicine. Nickit looked at me 

Does Nickit want to be on my team?

Ryu: I think Nickit wants to be on your team Phe"

Leon handed me a dusk ball. Ryu smiled, I showed Nickit the dusk ball Nickit touched the ball and went in. 1 shake... 2 shakes.... 3 shakes a green light showed, Ryu placed a hand on my shoulder and smiled.

Leon: Ryu, Phe please accept this letter of Endorsement. This letter will allow both of you to try out the gyms. Professor Magnolia, don't you have something for Phe and Ryu?"

Professor Magnolia: yes, I do. Phe please come here"

I walked over to Professor Magnolia handed me a paper. I looked at the title" Endorsement of Pokemon caring" and she handed me a band. Ryu walked over to me and Professor Magnolia, she handed Ryu a band just like mine.

Leon: that is the Dynamax band, you can Dynamx with it. Phe since you spotted the Nickit you have been given the Endorsement letter of Pokemon caring meaning you can take care of Pokemon just like nurse joy but better"

I smiled, Me and Ryu went back to my place to pack. I looked at the leafeon painting. My favorite drink is tea. Ryu smiled. Eevee was on my shoulder, we went to the train and Professor Magnolia gave me a Rotom phone. I was looking at the pictures of Motorstoke, Ryu was looking at his Rotom phone, the train stopped a little to fast I almost fell out of my seat but Ryu gently pulled me close to him, my face turned deep red. Ryu smiled softly. We got off the train and Ryu talked to a train worker, I saw a huge glass land out the window. Ryu walked over to me

Ryu: the train is stuck thanks to Woohool, the worker said that we can go across the wild area to get to Motorstoke"

We went outside and saw the wild area. Ryu smiled and gently grabbed my hand. I interlocked our fingers and we went into the wild area and saw tons of pokemon. Some were walking around, there was some in the tall grass.

Ryu: we can do some training here while heading to Motorstoke, let's stay together ok"

: ok"

Ryu got challenged by a Galar Zigagoon. I was challenged by a Yamper after the battle with Zigagoon and Yamper I healed Yamper and smiled.

Ryu: Phe do you have any pokeballs?"

: no, I was going to get some at the Motorstoke Pokemon center"

Ryu handed me a Pokeball. I smiled and showed it to Yamper. Yamper touched it and it went in. 1....2...3.. I caught a Yamper!. I hugged Ryu, Ryu hugged me back. We stood there for a while until it started to rain. We ran under a tree. I was cold from the rain. I forget my sweater, Ryu got behind me and wrapped his jacket around me and him. I looked at him and smiled, Ryu smiled softly.

Ryu: Motorstoke is across the wild area. We ran now, we can make to the city and relax before the torment started, if you want to do that"

: do you want to do?"

Ryu: I think we should run for it"

I nodded and got up. We started running. Night was close to me. We made it to Motorstoke. Me and Ryu were catching our breaths. Night was laying on the ground.

??: are you ok?"

: yea, we just ran in the rain"

??: Oh my, your clothes are wet, here follow me"

We followed a lady to a clothes store. The workers were helping me and Ryu get a new pair of clothes. I picked out a few things and went to the changing room. I changed into a black and red shirt, a red jacket and leggings. The lady who led us here bought me a pair of boots. I walked out of the changing room and saw Ryu in his new clothes. He looked handsome in them Ryu looked at me and smiled.

??: you two look great. Where are my manners... My name is Sonia. Professor Magnolia is my grandma, she told me about you two joining the gym challenges. She also told me that you Phe have another Endorsement paper of caring I'm right?"

: yes"

Sonia: well wait we waiting for let's get you two the gym"

We followed Sonia to the gym and we got registered for the gym battles. Ryu picked 00 as his number, my number is 02. We were standing inside the gym wow so many people. I saw the gym leaders, all but one was there.
