Drago's POV

??: 22 clicks away from you, the others have not shown themselves yet"

??: I know, but there is no way to know where they are without hunting them down"

Phe: Drago is everything ok?"

: yea, just talking to my friend"

Phe: we have to stay here, there is a huge thunderstorm coming this way, the eighth gym leader is taking us to a house where we can stay until the storm passes over"

: ok, I will meet you outside *Phe walked away from me* please let me know if other shows up"

I hung up the phone and walked outside where Phe and Ryu were talking to a guy in a dragon jacket. He was taller than Phe and a little taller than Ryu. Phe looked over to me and waved at me, I waved back

??: so you three are going to challenge me one day, my name is Raihan, I'm the eighth gym leader before you face off Leon"

: my name is Drago, this is Phe and Ryu"

Raihan: cool names, please follow me to the house you three will be staying in"

Phe stayed close to Ryu, I kinda ship them.

Raihan's POV

I shipped Ryu and Phe together, I could tell Phe was having a head time telling him how she feels towards him. I saw Leon talking to Sonia, another ship of mine. We went past them and I opened the door to the house.

: there are three bedrooms, two bathrooms"

Phe: thanks Raihan"

Ryu: thanks dragon man"

: did Leon tell you to call me that?"

Ryu: yep"

Note to self slap Leon when I see him. Drago walked into the house and sat down on the couch. I closed the door and left them be. I had something to take care of. There has been a ton of Dynamax Pokemon in the wild area, I'm surprised they did not get attacked. My team is strong when working together. I went to the wild area, I saw three beacons. I sighed and went to the first beacon. It was a Steenee.

Later that night Phe's POV

The storm was strong. I couldn't sleep. I got up out of bed and went to Ryu's room. I knocked on the door and heard movement. The door opened and Ryu was standing there.

: I'm sorry to wake you, Ryu"

Ryu: it's ok Phe, is something wrong?"

: I'm scared of thunderstorms and i"

Ryu: come on in *I walked in the room. Ryu closed the door* you can stay with me anytime there is a thunderstorm"

: really?"

Ryu: yes"

I hugged Ryu. Ryu hugged me back, I felt safe in his arms. I slowly closed my eyes.

Ryu's POV

I looked at Phe and saw she was asleep, I smiled softly and gently picked her up. Her head touched my shoulder. I gently placed her on the bed, her red hair touched the pillow. I went downstairs to get a glass of water. Phe you don't know this but I have a crush on you, I want to tell you so badly but I can't. I grabbed a glass of water and went back to the room I was staying in. Phe was facing the door like she was waiting for me. I placed the glass on the nightstand and laid next to her. Phe moved a little closer to me. I snaked my arms around her and gently pulled her close to me. I looked at Phe's cheeks and saw that they turned deep red. The next day I woke up and saw Phe's head on my chest. I chuckled a little, Phe moved a little.

: good morning Phe"

Phe: morning Ryu* she opened her eyes and blushed crimson red*"

I gently kissed her forehead.

: want me to make breakfast?"

Phe: please"

: anything you like?"

Phe: you can pick"

: ok* I gently picked Phe and placed her next to me on the bed* I will be right back"

I got out of bed and went to the kitchen. I touched my Pokeballs and let my Pokemon out. Raboot was playing with Pikachu, Eevee was looking for someone.

: Eevee you ok?"

Eevee looked at me and I could tell Eevee was missing Night. I felt someone hug me from behind,

: yes, Phe?"

Phe: thank you for letting me stay with you last night"

: you're welcome, do you want to help me?"

Phe smiled and let her Pokemon out. Night and my Eevee started to play with each other. Me and Phe started making breakfast, 10 minutes later we were heading to the next gym. Fighting-type. I was ready for this gym. Drago was ready too, Phe was scared, I gently grabbed her hand and gently rubbed it. Phe's cheeks turned deep red. Route 6, the sand started blowing.

: guys stay close"

We made it to the Stow-on-Side. We went to the Pokemon center and healed our team. Phe's Eevee had evolved into Umbreon. Phe's team was all evolved expect for Hope, we are not sure if she can or not. Phe been keeping Hope a secret. Drago went first. I sat down next to Phe, she was thinking.

: Phe, what are thinking about?"

Phe: Hope, I don't know if I shoulder use her in battle or not"

: I don't think you should leave her Pokeball in your bag"

Phe grabbed her Hope's Pokeball and placed it in her bag. I looked at the screen and saw Drago battling Bae. he was down one Pokemon while Bae was down two Pokemon. Wow, Drago must know Bea's Pokemon weakness. We decided I was going last. I looked over at Phe who was looking at her Roto phone. She checking on her team. I gently touched her hand. Phe looked at me,

: I believe in you"

Phe: thanks Ryu, I believe in you too"

Drago walked over and showed me and Phe the fighting badge, Phe was next. Phe gently kissed my cheek and went to the uniform room.

Phe's POV

I walked out of the uniform room and went to the challenge room.

Referee: hello, next trainer, this challenge, you need to slide down a slope, moving left and right by rotating the table inside the cup. There are going to be punching bag near the end of the challenge, you may use them to get to the end, there are going to be a few trainers to stop you... Ready?"

: yes"

Referee: you may benning"

I walked over to the cup and got in it. The cup started sliding down. 15 minutes later I made beat the challenge room and was now facing Bea, I was ready, I had Thievel first. Bea was waiting for me, I walked over to her and smiled

Bea: are you ready trainer?"

: yes"

We went to our side of the field, I sent our Thievel, Bae sent out a Hitmontop.

: Thievel use Thief!"

Thievel attacked Hitmontop's Hp went down to yellow.

Bea: Hitmontop use sucker punch!"

: Thievel dodge it!"

Thievel listen to me and dodge the attack.

: Thievel use Snarl!"

Thievel beat Hitmontop. Bea returned Hitmontop to its Pokeball. Bea sent out Pangoro.

Bae: Pangoro use Low Sweep!"

Thievel got hit and its Hp went down to yellow.

: Thievel use Snarl!"

Pangoro's Hp went down to yellow.

Bae: Pangoro use tackle!"

Thievel fainted. I returned Thievel to his Pokeball, I sent out Umbreon.

: Umbreon use Snarl!"

Pangoro fainted. Bae returned Pangoro to its Pokeball. Bae sent out Sirfethch'd.

Bae: Sirfetch'd use Knock off!"

: Umbreon dodge it! *Umbreon listen to me* then use dark pulse!"

Umbreon attack and Sirfecth'd hp went down to red. It was a critical hit. Umbreon looked happy.

Bae: Sirfecth'd use tackle!"

Umbreon's Hp went down to yellow.

: Umbreon use Snarl!"

Umbreon attacked Sirfecth'd and it fainted, I healed Umbreon, Bae sent out Machamp, I was ready Bae Gigantamax Machamp, it was huge with lighting line running down its arms. I was saving my Dynamax for when I need it.

Bea: Machamp use Max Knuckle!"

Machamp attacked Umbreon, Umbreon fainted. I sent Umbreon back to her Pokeball. I sent out Boltund. I felt another Pokeball in my pocket, Wait it can't be, I thought I put Hope's Pokeball in my bag.

: Boltund use Spark!"

Machamp's Hp went down a little.

Bea: Machamp use max knuckle!"

Boltund fainted. No! I have one more Pokemon, I returned Boltund to his Pokeball. I sent out Hope. everyone went quiet, Hope looked at me and I hear my Roto phone go off. Hope was a mixer of types but she is mostly Fairy Psychic. Yes! Wait can she Dynamx? I saw the symbol for Dynamx. I smiled and put my phone away. I Dynamax Hope.

: Hope use Psybeam!"

Machamp's Hp went down to yellow. I stayed calm during this battle.

Bea: Machamp use max knuckle!"

: Hope dodge it!*Hope listen to me and dodge it, Machamp went back to normal* Hope use max Mindstorm!"

Hope beat Machamp. We won! Hope went back to normal and I quickly returned her to her Pokeball. I walked over to Bea. 2 minutes later I walked out of the uniform room and went over to Ryu and Drago.

Drago: I'm going to have to go"

: what why?"

Drago: something came up in Kalos"

: will we see you again?"

Drago: maybe I want you two to keep going on the challenge and every time you battle think of me ok"

: can we take a picture before you go?"

Drago: sure"

I took my Roto phone out and took a picture of me, Drago and Ryu. Drago left and Ryu went to battle, Bea. I sat down and waited for Ryu to get down battling. 1 hour later Ryu came out with the uniform room. I could tell he was missing Drago. I walked over to him and hugged him, Ryu hugged me back. We went to the Pokemon center. The next gym is Ballonlea. I'm going to miss Drago. I froze when an Inkay flew by me and Ryu. Ryu step in front of me.

Ryu: Phe, I promise to protect you, I know you are afraid of Malamars, look I know a way to face your fear. If you catch an Inkay and become friends with it. You can overcome your fear of Malamares"

: but what if it does not work?"

Ryu: than I will help beat Malamar"

: thank you, Ryu"

Ryu: you're welcome Phe, want to try and be friends with an Inkay?"

: s-sure"

I walked over to a wild Inkay. The Inkay challenge me to a battle. Umbreon was ready to battle. I had taken Boltund out of my team and placed him in the box before we left the Pokemon center. I throw a Pokeball at the Inkay. 1...2...3 a green appeared. Yes! I caught an Inkay. Ryu smiled softly at me. I smiled back and grabbed my Roto phone. Level 30 upside down. What does it mean upside down? Ryu walked over to me. I looked at Ryu. Ryu gently pulled me into a hug. I hugged him back. Ryu, I love you but I still can't say it to your face, we went to the gym. This is a fairy type gym. I was ready for anything. When I was younger I studied fairy type Pokemon before the attack.
