"After receiving her new Pokedex and Benjamin id a final goodbye to their mother. Are heroine and her little brother Benjamin are seen walking through Route 1."

"Awesome!" Ben said with awe in his eyes."There are so many Pidgey flying around here."

Sophia smiled at her younger brother."We're in Route 1 Ben, so of course, there are lots of Pidgey, and of course Mankey this is where most of them live, but Mankey is also found in many other locations," She explained.

("Don't bother explaining he to energetic to be listening.") Milo commented knowing Ben wasn't paying much attention.

"Hey, Ben let's stop here," Sophia said as she came to a stop towards a river stream."I want to catch myself a Water-type Pokemon," She said walking over to the softly flowing river.

"Yay Pokemon catching time!" Ben cheered.

"Yeah, this spot should be perfect for finding a Water type," Sophia commented."Ben keep it down so the Pokemon don't get scared."

(Yes good idea the yelling can be scary.")

("And exhausting to hear every day, especially when I'm napping. *yawn*")

"Alright let's catch a Water-type Pokemon," Sophia said pulling out a pink fishing rod with a Pokeball shape fishing lure and nicely tossing the line into the river.

("How about a song my dear Sophia?")

"Yes, a song would be lovely. Alright, here I go."

And so Sophia began to sing a lovely song. The beautiful melody that was Sophia's voice was now being heard gaining the attention of Pokemon nearby. As she finished singing without surprise the nice presence of Pokemon had appeared curious about the melody they heard.

A/N: I don't own the song but found it to be a fitting song for her to be singing. I will try to come up with my own songs next time she ever sings.

"Well, it looks like we have an audience here," Sophia said with a small smile it wasn't the first time she had Pokemon come out of nowhere when she would sing it was a hobby she developed to get through the hard times.

She spotted a group of Rattata we were listening to her sing and took out her Pokedex.

[Rattata, the Mouse Pokemon. A Normal type. Bites anything when it tracks. Small and very quick, it is a common sight in many places. Will chew anything with its fangs. If you see one, 40 more certainly live in the area. Scurries around quickly, searching for hard objects to gnaw. It appears to be jittery and unable to remain still. A female Rattata has shorter whiskers than the males.]

That was when a tug on her fishing rod was noticed by Bubbles's.

("Hey Sophia you caught something.)

"Oh, I wonder what it is?" Sophia questioned as she started to reel in the fishing line.

Splash!!!

Milo groaned in annoyance as he felt the water splash his face ruining the nap he was taking, and making Ben laugh at his best friend's annoyance. 

(Huh?") A Goldfish Pokemon questioned.

"A Goldeen, what a cute Pokemon," Sophia commented as he scan the Pokemon.

[Goldeen, the Goldfish Pokemon. A water-type Pokemon. Its tail fin billows like an elegant ballroom dress, giving it the nickname of the Water Queen. When it is time for them to lay eggs, they can be seen swimming up rivers and falls in large groups. A male has a larger horn than a female.]

"Bubbles Double slap and then Pound!"

("On it!")

Bubbles then started to slap Goldeen with her little hands, until it started to get dizzy. Seeing that Golden was getting dizzy Sophia immediately took out a Pokeball.

"Awesome job Pokeball go," She said throwing the Pokeball at Golden.

After three shakes a light flashed on the Pokeball and a click was heard signaling that Golden fate was sealed and that she successfully caught it. Making Golden Sophia first captured at the start of her journey.

"I caught a Golden!" Sophia cheered.

(Go, Sophia!)

"Awesome Sophie!"

("It's not that great a Pokemon. Makes a better-looking lunch to me. I love me some fish.)

"Thank you guys, and Milo don't say that about Golden it's not your food. Let's meet our new friend. Come out Golden!" She said tossing the Pokeball in the air near the water.

Goldeen came back out and was safely in the water.

("Hi!)

"Hi there Goldeen. My name's Sophia, and thai is my partner Bubbles, and the other two are my brother Benjamin and his best friend Milo," She introduced.

("Wait you can understand me?")

"Yes ever since I was young I could understand pokemon never figure out why and my foster mom doesn't know either but that doesn't matter now. I'm on a journey to become a Pokemon Master, and to do that I need to catch Pokemon like yourself. So would you consider coming along with me little guy? Since from your horn and voice you are a male." Sophia questioned using a potion to treat Goldeen wounds and fed it an oran berry.

("Yes I'm a male and sure I join you.)

"Excellent we'll come on Viridian City awaits us," She said returning her newly caught Goldeen.

Sophia, Bubbles, Ben, and Milo were now continuing down the road of Route 1 with their new friend Golden in his Pokeball. Suddenly Bubbles and Milo both looked around with urgency as they heard something.

("Sophia I hear something."

"What is Bubbles?"

"Yeah, why did you both stop?" Ben asked confused.

("There a distrust cry. A Pokemon in trouble girl.")

"Alright! Let's go make a pit stop!" Sophia commanded.

She and the other three rushed off in a hurry as the sky slowly started to turn dark from incoming gray clouds signaling a rainstorm was coming.

As they finally arrived at their destination that when Sophia and her partner along with Ben and Milo spotted a small Growlithe being attacked by a flock of Spearow as it tried to fight them off.

"Knock it off!" Sophia commanded as she used her hoodie to swat away the Spearow as Bubbles used Ice Beam and Milo used Swift on the Spearow.

"Don't worry Growltihe, everything going to be okay," She said trying to settled the puppy Pokemon. However the mini battle wasn't over the Spearow had four new targets.

"Run Bubbles, Ben, and Milo!" Sophia shouted.

As the group of four ran with all there might with Sophia carrying Growlithe within her hoodie to keep it warm from the rain. Her little brother tripped on a slippery slope cause by the rain, giving the Spearow flock that gotten bigger a chance to attack, Sophia rushed over to Ben and clutch him and Growlithe towards her chest protecting them.

However it wasn't meant to be when suddenly a Pikachu appeared out of nowhere and jumped into the air  along with Bubbles and Milo. Pikachu was suddenly struck by lightning as it relase a mighty Thunder Shock added along with a newly learn ThunderBolt by Bubbles and a mighty swift from Milo taking out the Spearow flock.

The group of four then suddenly passed out from the exhaustion of running from the Spearow.

Later on the group of four wakes on to see the sky clearing up.

"That was amazing Bubbles and Milo. I'm proud that you learned a new move Bubbles."

("I'm happy to make you proud, but it wasn't all me that Pikachu was helpful. Also how Growlithe?")

"Growlithe doesn't seem to be badly hurt, but to be safe we should get to the Pokemon Center. Okay Growlithe?"

("I'm fine I don't need help from you,") The female Growlithe replied annoyed.

"Yes you do. Growlithe it okay I just want to help that's what friends do."

"Big sister right friends help each other like that Pikachu did earlier. Where did the Pokemon go anyway?" Ben asked.

("I believe it went back to it's trainer I pick up a human scent coming from it Ben my friend.")

(Friends?")

SCREECH!!

Sophia then looked up at the sky the second she heard that loud cry and saw a mysterious pokemon flying towards a rainbow.

"Huh?" Sophia questioned scanning it with her Pokedex.

[No data. There are still pokemon yet to be discovered.]

However what happened next was even more strange. A odd color feather flew from the Pokemon and onto Stop face. She looked at the feather curiously.

"This is odd," She whispered looking at the feather she placed into her hand."Come Viridian just up ahead," She said leading the three down hilltop.

Meanwhile across a river a brown hair boy and his Pikachu were watching the Sophia and the gang head down the hilltop.

"That was a close one there Pikachu but looks like she safe now," He said to his Pikachu.

"Pika, achu!"

"After a rough encounter by an angry flock and being recuse by a mysterious Pikachu and a encounter with a unknown pokemon. Sophia, Bubbles, Ben, and Milo as well as a injury Growlithe continue to Viridian City. Unaware of a young boy and his Pikachu watching them."

I hope you enjoy the thrid chapter/Episode 2 of my new Pokemon story with oc Sophia who is the adopted daughter of Deila and the female version of the main character Ash Ketchum. 

I was thinking about shipping Sophia with Trace, but now I also think Brenden from Ruby and Sapphire is cool. I might make a poll to help me decide on who to go with. So keep a eye out for that.
