Sterling and his little brother Dustin were walking through Route 1 the sun was shining down on the grass making it have a beautiful glow to it as it rustled gently from the gentle breeze of wind.

"So big brother what is the first location on this journey?" Dustin asked glancing over at his older brother.

"Hm, let's see," Sterling said pulling out his Pokenav and open the  map and studying it."It says here that Sliverheart Town is just up ahead," He said.

"Ah is that where your gym match takes place?" Dustin asked.

"No it is a town that many people go to for romantic dates, but it is where I can register for the league," Sterling explained."The first gym is in the next city."

Dustin nodded."Oh, I see," He said.

"Anyway we will travel for three more hours and then we will stop for a lunch break," Sterling stated.

"Sounds like a plan to me," Dustin agreed.

After three hours of walking Sterling and Dustin came across a beautiful river and decided to take a break here for lunch.

"Alright come on out Hunter!" Sterling said sending out his starter Embpup.

"Embpup!" Hunter cried out happily as he licked his trainer's face.

"So friendly wish I was old enough to be a trainer," Dustin said.

"I know how you feel I felt the same way growing up, but it comes sooner than you think, "Sterling said ruffling his brother's hair."Now time for lunch you two," He said pouring some Pokemon food into Hunter's red bowl and placing it in front of him.

"Emb," Hunter cried out happily before eating his food.

Once Hunter was good to go he started making some sandwiches himself and his little brother Dustin.

"Wow those look yummy," Dustin said grabbing a sandwich from off of the plate.

"Enjoy I made them just the way you like," Sterling said before grabbing himself a sandwich from the plate as well.

As They enjoy there lunch they suddenly heard an rustleing sound coming from the bushes catching the atteion of the two boys and pokemon. The trio turned to see a pokemon that resembles a deer fawn. The upper side of its body was pink and has a yellow patterned rim, and its underside is peach. Its sports a yellow floral tuft on its head with small antlers hidden underneatn, and similar yellow coloration on the insides of its tapering ears. The tips of its limbs are clored black and its tail is small.

"So cool what pokemon is that?" Dustin asked in awe.

"Lets see," Sterling said taking out his Pokedex and scanning the Pokemon.

{Deerling, the Season Pokemon a normal/grass type.  This pokemon is native in Unova but were recently discoverd in Wawanakwa. The turning of seasons changes the color and scent of this Pokemon's fur. People use it to mark the seasons.}

"A Deerling an pokemon from Unova," Sterling said putting away his Pokedex.

"If I was an trainer I would deffinly want Deerling as my pokemon it so amazing looking," Dustin commented.

"Hey you know Timothy seven year old little sister Bree has an partner in an Wawankwan Growltihe he found injured," Sterling sated."Maybe I can catch it and we can see if Professer Pines would mine registering Deerling as your future partner when your old enough to be an trainer," He said.

"really you would do that for me?" Dustin asked.

Sterling nodded."Hunter battle time," He said.

"Embpup!" Hunter creid out as he got into an battle stance.

"Deerling!" The wild Deerling cried out as it charge forward towards Embpup.

"Stop it in its tracks with Ember!" Sterling comanded.

"Pup!" Hunter cried out as a small orange flame blasted from its mouth hitting Deerling causeing it stop in tracks as it fell to the ground in pain.

"Deerling," The wild Deerling said as it slowly stood on up.

"Hunter Tackle don't let it get up," Sterling ordered.

"Embpup!" Hunter creid out running forward as its slammed it body into Deerling kncoking on back down.

"Derling!" Deerling creid out in pain as it once agin fell on down back to the ground and groan in pain as it attempted to get back up.

"Alright looks like its reday to be capture," Sterling said as he grabed an empty Pokeball."Lets go Pokeball!" He said throwing an Pokeball at the weaken Deerling.

The Pokeball connected with Deerling and a red beam sucked it inside of the Pokeball. The Pokeball shook three times until it clicked and red light appeared on the button signaling that Deerling was sucessful captured.

"Awesome big bro you capture the Deerling," Dustin said running over an picking up the Pokeball containing Deerling.

"Yep and i use my xtransceiver to contact Profesor Pine you clean up the dishes," Sterling said clicking on Professor Pine name and calling the lab.

After a few minutes Proffesor Pine face appeared on the screen."Hello Sterling it good to hear from you how your journey going so far?" She asked.

"It's going good, but I was wonder if the Deerling I capture could be made my little brother Pokemon partner for when he older," Sterling explained.

"You captured an Deerling well Dustin not old enough to be an Pokrmon trainer,but no law says  he isn't allow to carry one Pokemon lots of kids like Bree have an pokemon friend so yeah it allow but i can't make him the trainer until your get to an transporter to transfer it to me."

"Alright thanks I call you when we get to  Sliverheart Town so we can do the transfer," Sterling said before ending the call.

"So Deerling can be mine Pokemon partner?"Dustin asked.

"Yes now come on lets get going Sliverheart Town awaits us," Sterling said as he return Hunter back to his Pokeball.

"Awesome," Dustin cheered happliy as he followed his older brother as they coninuted the road to Sliverheart Town.
