(last time our heroes was about to leave their town but was slightly interrupted by professor Oak after accepting his request and getting three pokemon from him our heros set off to get the package to complete the pokedex however things might not seem so simple of a task to complete...)

Gold; we did it! We are out of our town and now taken our first steps into a new adventure!

Nick; agreed but we still got one thing to complete

Hilda; and that's to get the package for the professor!

Lisanna; yeah!..so..who remembered to bring a map with them?

Nick; maybe he went ahead of us? He always had a good sense of direction with or without the map

*then he hears rustling form the bushes right next to him*

Man in a black suit: it must be in this general direction! Do not rest until you find it! *then he turns to the other people in black suits* find the phantom pokemon!*they all run off in separate directions*

Gold; *comes out from the bushes* phantom pokemon? Hrmm..never heard of it..but..*grins* sounds like a awesome pokemon to have on my team..but i don't have any pokeballs besides squirtle..name still pending..hrmm.. Maybe i can convince it to follow me until i get a pokeball! Ok let's do this!

*then he sees the same light form the northwest side of the woods*

Gold; hey it's that light again.. It's coming from the direction where those guys diden't bother to go..*follows it*

*meanwhile with the others*

Nick; we are almost at the vermillion city but..i still don't see gold anywhere..

Andrew; where did he go?

Hilda; if only we had a flying type pokemon by our side..

Lisanna; maybe he's at the pokemon center healing up squirtle?

Andrew; most likely i mean both you and nick did fought some pokemon on the way here so maybe he did the same to?

Nick; who knows but we will find out..

Gold; here it is..but i don't see anything but---

???: now use flamethrower!

Boy's charmander; char!!*does the attack

Gold; *ducks into the bushes then pokes his head out* whoa that guy is giving that pokemon a good fiery thrashing..*notices the pokemon he is fighting* huh? Who's that pokemon? Is that the phantom pokemon that guy in the black suit was talking about? well ..go beat that phantom..that guys charmander!..

???: ok that's enough...

*then the charmander stops moving then he returns him to his pokeball*

Gold; wha!? Hey what was that!?*comes out from the bushes* what are you doing!? You almost had it!

???: *notices gold* hrm?....

Gold; ugg i'll show you how it's done! Go squirtle!*throws the pokeball then releases squirtle*

Squirtle; squirtle!

Gold; bubble now!!

Squirtle; tle!! *fires the bubble attack at the strange pokemon*

Weird cat looking pokemon; !? *then he does a flash attack that hits squirtle*

Squirtle; SQUIRTLE!!! *get's k.os*

Gold; oh no! Squirtle!*runs to squirtle* hey! Wake up! Come on snap out of it!

???: man aren't you blind? Did you not notice our fight?

Gold; *turns to the boy* what!?

???: there was a huge difference in power between me and that pokemon so that's why i stopped the fight to avoid harming my pokemon..*turns around* you gotta know your limitations or you will lose to yourself..*walks way* remember that

Gold; i-i lost?...

*the pokemon flys away and as soon as it leaves the people in black suits appear*

Guy in black suit #1; this field it's been burnt! What happened here!?

*then one of the guys notice gold on his knees holding the fainted squirtle then goes to him*

Guy in back suit #2: answer me worm! What have you done!?

Guy in black suit #1; never mind him! The mew is the main goal here and it still might be nearby! Go!

*then all of them runs off after the pokemon*

*after sometime later in the vermillion city pokemon center*

Nick; i asked around and nothing no one has seen him anywhere

Lisanna; that's weird where could he be at!?

Andrew; i'm sure he's nearby..like outside that door by!

*then gold appears form the door andrew was pointing at*

Andrew; WHA!?

Hilda; awesome andrew! What else can you do!?

Lisanna; yeah you had us worrying about you!

Gold; yeah...sorry about that...*gives nurse joy his pokeball then she leaves to heal squirtle*

*once he got his pokemon back gold told everyone what happened in the woods even the guys in black searching for the phantom pokemon mew*

Nick; then that phantom pokemon just did a light attack knocking out squirtle?

Gold; yeah..it happen so fast but..tch i should had stuck to my original plan! Curse that guy! He ended that fight early so i got ahead of myself..

Lisanna; but still what concerns me the most are those guys you talked about..

Hilda; yeah what else did they had on them? Other than the fact that they were wearing black?

Gold; um..well they had a big red R on these guys suits..

Gold; yeah i don't even know who they are but they seem to want that pokemon..for what purpose..i don't know..

Andrew; well i guess we can worry about them later then for now we have to get the parts and give them to professor oak!

Nick; yeah your right we can worry about the black suit guys later for now we got a request to complete!

(our heroes got there pokedexs and are now official pokemon trainers now they head to pewter city but gold still has that goal to catch mew and beat that boy with the charmander how will there fate cross together? Find out next time)
