It'll be okay (Bea and Allister, sibling fluff.)
Allister was murmuring to himself as he was waiting outside the lockers of Stow-On-Side's gym for his sister, Bea, to come out of the female locker. He adjusted his mask on his face and the door creaked open.
Allister flinched and backed away from the door slowly. He was always scared of the door opening. One of the gym trainers came out and said hi. He gave them a shaky wave back and looked back at the door.
Please come out of the locker room soon, Bea. I'm scared... the boy hoped to himself as he paced along the carpet floor. He adjusted his mask again, as it was beginning to fall off of his face.
Earlier that day, when the school-aged Gym Leader had been coming home from school, a kid had come up to him and bullied him for wearing his mask. They called him names and tried to take the mask, the only thing apart from Bea that made Allister feel safe, off of his face. Allister cried and they called him a wimp, punching him in the stomach and snatching the mask off his face. By the time he put his next mask on, the kids had ran off, laughing.
But Allister knew that he was safe now, because he was at home and he could tell Bea what happened. His sister would know what to do, he knew that. So he paced along the floor and waited, clutching at his mask every few seconds to make sure it was still on his face.
Bea... please come soon... I'm scared...
The door creaked open again, and revealed Bea. Allister smiled faintly under his mask and whimpered happily. He ran up to hug his sister. He was so happy to finally see her today.
"Bea..." he murmured softly.
"What is it, Al?" Bea asked, starting to get concerned.
"Some kids bullied me at the bus stop today. They made fun of me for wearing my mask... they said I was a weirdo... that I deserved to die..." Allister whimpered, beginning to cry. "They punched me, and they stole one of my masks..."
"Shh... Al, it's fine now. I'm here. Shh..." Bea whispered comfortingly, wrapping her brother up in a hug.
"I don't know what I should do. Everyone avoids me at school, Bea. If... they don't avoid me, they make fun of me..." Allister mumbled sadly.
Bea stroked her brother on the back for a second before letting go. She looked straight at him.
"I'm going." She said simply. "I'm going to your school tomorrow. I'm never there to protect you and I need to be there. You've got to tell a teacher."
Allister whimpered softly before hugging his sister again. "Thanks, Bea... I don't know what I'd do without you..."
