Fighting Princess (Bea x Victor)
Bea was headed to the hospital in Stow-On-Side thanks to Faith reminding her that her arm was injured. Sighing, she walked up towards a distant house. Knocking on the door, her mood suddenly began to improve.
If they can fix my arm, I'll be able to take care of the gym and not have Faith fussing over me! She thought triumphantly.
She was lead to the emergency ward, where they asked her where she was hurting. She pressed on the bruise that was brewing on her arm, wincing. Bea gave them a sigh when they asked what had happened. She didn't want to explain it, because they would probably tell her it was wrong to do that and that she should've assessed the risks.
But, that was the thing, she didn't care for risks. All she ever wanted to do was keep her siblings and the citizens safe. She couldn't possibly do that with a broken arm. They gave her a scan and said it was fractured, saying she would be hospitalised for three weeks at the very least.
Bea tried to jump up from the bed in protest but was promptly sat down by a doctor who reminded her that she was sent here by her sister, who was only sending her there to keep her safe.
Drat. Sometimes I wish Faith wasn't this doting.
They began to lay Bea down on the bed and assess the damage, asking her what happened. Sighing, she explained the situation as if she had explained it all a thousand times before. She bit her bottom lip as she waited for a response. The doctors kept bandaging her up.
The thing is... do I want visitors?
Bea gave herself a moment to consider her options before realising that she did want somebody to join her. It would make this sadness just that bit more bearable if she had somebody that was there with her.
But... I don't just want anybody. I want Victor Sword.
"I am desperately sorry for my tardiness," a male voice apologised.
No, Victor. It's fine... if all you do is stay with me, I'll have nothing to be afraid of...
"Hallo!" Victor greeted the room, coming in to sit next to Bea.
She closed her eyes.
I hate to say it, but this really does feel like a dream. I just want nobody to dare ever wake me up from this sweet dream.
"Bea, when I heard you were injured, I came right away."
I love you, you bumbling idiot... just keep talking. Your Cockney accent makes me think of a better world.
"My fighting princess, stay strong for me." Victor reached out to grab her arm.
But the problem here is that I'm battered and bruised all the time, and I'm too determined to give it all away.
She closed her eyes and flipped to the other side of the bed. "Kh... it hurts..."
"Pull through for me, Bea."
You and your accent are ready to send me into a frenzy...
"I hope... I can..." she murmured before she fell asleep.
"I love you, Bea."
Dear Arceus, I love you. You don't get it, do you?
