Are you okay, dear sister? (Bea and OC, sibling fluff.)
It's sore, but I really don't need Faith to worry about me anymore.
Bea was heading back home after a big fall. She winced as she felt the pain from the injury course through her entire body. She had fallen off the cliff in Stow-On-Side whilst fighting off one of the kids that bullied Allister and fell on her arm. Just remembering the ordeal made Bea want to get to the Gym faster. She knew she could take care of the Gym with a sore arm — she would just have to learn how to throw with the other arm. Sighing, she walked further towards the Gym stadium without missing a beat.
She needed to make sure Allister didn't see her either since she didn't wish for her brother to worry about her. After all, she was trying to help him and she didn't want anybody to let Faith know. Faith always doted on Bea. Of course the Fighting-type master knew why, it was because Faith was her sister and concerned about her, but she found it tedious and annoying to frequently tell her sister that she was fine, even after the smallest injury. She ran faster to avoid thinking about it.
Faith, I'm coming home. Don't look at me, don't fawn over me, and please don't be concerned. I'm fine. I can deal with this, sister.
She ran closer to the stadium and panted. She went inside, making a beeline for the locker room so she could avoid seeing Faith and getting her concerned. Wincing, she slipped on her Gym Uniform, put her Pokeballs on a belt and headed out to the battlefield.
She was battling a kid named Victor, who was a popular trainer that was endorsed by Leon. Bea could've sworn she heard Allister mention a kid named Gloria, who was also endorsed by the Champion, that challenged the gym when he took over the Gym once.
When she got to her Machamp, she winced as she threw her Gigantamax Pokéball in the air. It felt so heavy thanks to being filled with the energy that allowed Machamp to Gigantamax, and a loud snap was heard.
"Argh, I guess I'll just destroy everything!" she shouted.
She let Machamp perform a G-Max Chi Strike before being defeated by a Sylveon. To avoid her arm being hurt by the handshake, she just stuffed the badge in the ring within Victor's bag and let him leave.
"Bea... are you... alright?" Allister asked her after watching the battle.
"Of course not..." Bea muttered. "But I don't want Faith fussing over me so I didn't confess to being hurt."
She heard eager footsteps run up to her.
"Bea!" Faith shouted. "Are you alright? I heard the snap!"
You've gotta be kidding me.
"It hurts..." Bea reluctantly admitted.
"We're going to need stabilisation. Let's work out who will take over the gym."
"I... can still manage!" Bea shouted out with a wince.
"I...can take over the gym if you'd like..." Allister murmured.
"That settles it." Faith folded her arms over her chest. "Al will rake over the Gym."
