Hop woke you up early next morning, which was a good thing because you were looking at a map of the region and by the looks of it it was going to take you two around an hour to get to the first gym.
6:00 and you combed your hair and chose your outfit for the day, 'something that says, I'm the ice type gym leader from another region and I'm here for that badge' you thought through your suitcase:
(You Choose!! Also please note that I did my best to find outfits, but there weren't many to choose from, and you don't have to pick from here, these are just some suggestions 😁)

After you guys ate a quick breakfast (thanks to Hop's mom) and she packed you guys lunch and snacks.
You thanked her and Hop showed you the way to the professor's lab, where you exchanged files and you even mega evolved your avalugg for her, in which Hop totally freaked out.
She then gave you and Hop a bracelet to dynamax your pokemon.
"Finally! Let's go to Turffield and get that gym badge!" Hop yelled as you entered the train station.

One train ride, walk through the wild area, cheering Hop as he caught pokemon, then waiting for Hop to get his head out of the red glowing rocks, quick stop to register Hop for the challenge, later you guys finally made it through route 3 and the Galar mines and arrived at Turffield.
Of course you record the whole journey for Galar Day 2.
"I see light at the end of this tunnel, come Y/n!" Hop ran ahead.
"Wait for me Hop!" Your camera shook as you ran to catch up.
The bright light blinded you for a second before exiting the tunnel, and revealing beautiful gold fields.
"Wow!" You breathed out, "you guys this place is beautiful take a look" you spoke to the camera then showed the scene.
"I mean compared to the city- to the snow, I could stay here forever!" you said.
"Y/n look! There's the gym!" Hop said, "wow! Let's go!"
You recorded some more footage before putting your phone away and catching up with Hop.
You two walked through the automatic sliding doors and walked up to a person dressed in green.
"Excuse I'm here to challenge the gym!" Hop said with a flashy smile.
"Of course, but all challengers must be in their challenger outfit, there's a changing room right over there." The person said nicely.
"Alrighty! I'll be right back!" Hop said running to the changing room.
"Are you here to challenge the gym leader too?" The person asked.
"Yes, but I'm not participating in the challenge, I just came to earn the badges." You said.
"Ok, you can battle Milo after your friend does, and you don't need to change!" she says.
"Perfect, I'll just wait for Hop, I'd like to wish him good luck"
She nodded.
You took out 2 of your pokeballs, Ninetales and glaceon.
'3 pokemon should be fine for this 1st gym battle' you thought as Hop came running back.
"I'm ready!' he said.
"Great, the gym challenge is waiting for you inside." The assistant said opening the doors for Hop.
"Good luck Hop, I'll be cheering for you!" you called out.
"Thanks Y/n!" He waved as the doors slide shut.
The assistant turned to you and opened her mouth to say something, but a loud crash followed by a "wuuluu!" And a "ohmygosh sorry! I'm so sorry!"
You turn around to see a tall man, with a green shirt, green bandana around his neck, green shorts with the number 831, black and green boots, a big straw hat was on top of his peach hair, and he had really pretty emerald green eyes.
He was carrying a small wooloo in his  arms, that you could tell he works out.
'this guy is actually kinda cute' you thought, 'I-I mean his wooloo is cute. Oh, who am I kidding this guy is a total hunk!'
You snap out of your thoughts and you attention is back on this guy.
"I'm late, aren't I?!" He spoke very rushed, "I just heard I've got trainers waiting!"
"Yeah, it's ok, he's already inside doing the challenge"
"Agh! I better get going!" He looked around, then at you, "you don't mind taking care of this wooloo for me? Thanks!"
He shoved the wooloo in your arms and ran off to a door next to the changing room.
"Take your seat, the battle should be starting soon" the assistant said signaling a door opposite of the changing room.
"Thank you" you said and walked to the door with the small wooloo in your hands.
You found a seat in the front row and placed the wooloo on your lap.
"Wuu!" It said and smiled.
"Aren't you just the cutest!" You cooed and fluffed it's wool.
The small wooloo nuzzled against face against your hand. The wooloo was the size of your hands, Hop's wooloo was bigger, around the size of psyduck.
You took a gazillion selfies with the Wooloo and played with it.
Soon enough Hop's battle against Milo began.
Hop did excellent against Milo, and you cheered him on.
Milo was beating Hop, but at the end, Hop defeated Milo to earn his first gym badge.
"Yay, Hop!!" You yelled as Milo handed him the grass badge.
"There will be another battle starting in 10 minutes!" A loud speaker said.
'must be my battle!' you thought and made your way back to the lobby.
At the lobby you saw Hop back in his regular clothes.
"Hop! Congratulations, you were spectacular!" You said.
He scratched the back of his head, "thanks Y/n!" He then saw the wooloo in your hands, "huh? What's this? You got yourself a wooloo? It's tiny!"
You giggled, "I wish he was mine, this is actually-"
"Mine"
You look past Hop to see the gym leader walking towards you.
You smile.
"Well not really, this little one is part of my farm" He said petting the wooloo, "sorry for just shoving it in your arms, I was in a rush" he blushed embarrassed.
"Hey, it's no problem! I love wooloos, especially this one" you nuzzled the little wooloo's nose.
"Do you! Would you like to see my wooloo farm! It's not so far from here!" He asked a little shyly.
"I'd love too!" you said really wanting to see more wooloo, but also get to know the gym leader a little more.
"Great, I-um, first you don't mind taking care of the wooloo for another while, I think I have another challenger next?" he said looking at the clock.
You smiled, "actually Hop's going to have to take care of the wooloo" you handed the tiny wooloo to Hop.
"What!" Hop said.
You took out one of your pokeballs, "I'm your next challenger"
