Arriving at Hammerlock you knew exactly where to go.

"Alrighty so which one of you would like to face gym leader, Raihan first?" The attendee asked you and Hop.

But before you could answer someone yelled through the lobby, "WHERE IS SHE!"

Everyone looked in the direction to see the gym leader, looking around, "I HEARD SHE WAS HERE TO CHALLENGE ME!" he sounded kinda excited, then locked eyes with your e/c ones.

"O. M. G. You're really here!" He ran up to you, "I literally DIED when you followed me back on Poke-gram!" His rotom phone flew out of his pocket, "selfie?" he didn't let you answer however before snapping away, "thank you SO MUCH! I. Am. A. HUGE FAN! And I love what you did with your hair!" He tossed your hair around, "although I really miss the classic blue highlights look" He then seemed to calm down, regaining his cool composter, "hey, I'm Raihan, the gym leader of Hammerlock, dragon type"

"Yes, I follow you! Love your selfies!" You said taking out your phone, "would you like to be in my video?"

"W-would I like to be in your video? Would I like to be in your video!" He said sarcastically, "of course! I am such a fan!"

You giggled at his fan girl-ing while pressing record, "hey, hey lovelies! I'm about to go in and face this man right here" you got him in the frame.

He looked like he was about to explode with excitement, but some how manged to salute the camera as a greeting.

"So how's bout it? Double pokemon battles?" He said, "that's my style!"

You gave the camera a knowing look, "it's on Dragon Prince" you waved to the camera, "see you soon this battle is going to be epic!"

As soon as you tapped on the stop button Raihan fan girled again.

"Oh. My. Arceus! I am in one of your videos. I am in one of your videos!" He embraced you in a bone crushing hug.

"Raihan... air! I need to breathe" you said as he released you.

"But just cause I like you doesn't mean I'll go easy on y'all!" He said tossing up a pokeball.

Your battle with Raihan had everyone on the edge of their seats. It was surely one to remember. It was tough, but you ended up beating your number one fan to earn the last badge in this region, the dragon badge.

"HEY! CONGRATULATIONS Y/N!" The two brothers said in unison.

"Yeah great job, you earned all the badges of the Galar region" Raihan sneaked up on you snapping a selfie.

"Hey!" You giggled, "you better send that to me!" She then turned to the brothers, "thanks guys, I'm so happy, it's been an amazing journey" you ruffled Hop's purple hair.

"I'll right, who's next?" Raihan said raising his eyebrow at Hop.

Hop blushed and stepped behind his older brother, "uh, I think I'll battle you tomorrow, Mr. Raihan, sir"

You couldn't argue with him, you wanted to stay in Galar for as long as you could.

"Why don't we all head out for lunch?" Raihan asked, all he wanted was more time with his favorite internet celebrity.

"Uh, sure" you said, making a note to make your important phone calls later tonight.

Lunch with the boys was really fun. You recorded a Q and A session over lunch and learned a bunch about them.

This evening, you had excused yourself to call in Gordie, informing him about the family reunion happing in three days. Followed by a call to your dad's informing him the same.

"Is this really a good idea, Y/n?" He said, "your mother AND your brother in the same room?"

"Dad, you need to stop treating Gordie like a freak, just because-- you know what? I'm not having this conversation over phone, its one of the topics we need to discuss... together... as a family" you said.

"Yeah, ok, I'll fly over, see you in three" then he hung up.

You sighed as you didn't get to say goodbye. But no time to waste as you had one more phone call... actually you put your phone away as you decided to make it a visit instead.

One flying taxi trip later you arrived at the Farmer's front door and knocked.

"Coming!" You heard him yell and soon the door opened to reveal the adorable Milo.

"Hi!" You greeted cheerfully, "I'm sorry came without warning, I--"

"W-What are you doing here?" He said his voice sounded like a whisper.

A bit confused you answered, "I came to see you silly, and your farm and wooloos-"

"B-but"

"You said I could come visit anytime, right?" You looked at the setting sun, "I mean, yeah sure it's a bit late but--"

"I..." His face went pokeball red, "I saw you with Leon yesterday" he looked at the ground, "a-at the pokemon center" his voice broke, "I really like you Y/n"

You breathed heavily as you recalled the mix up and gave him a tight hug. You stood there hugging him, and after a few minutes he hugged you back.

"Milo, that was a total mix up" you pulled apart and looked at his green eyes, "he was around town and offered to take me to Spikemuth to meet with Hop, I didn't want to be rude and decline... although he was acting a bit weird, I'll have to tell him that I'm-- well that we... Milo, are we... a thing?"

Milo was so sweet, you didn't want to pressure him into anything.

He blushed another shade of red, "y-you m-mean like..." He whispered, "my girlfriend?"

You blushed at the words and nodded your head.

"I-I mean if you want to be" he covered his face with his green bandana.

"Y-yes I want to... I really like you too, Milo" you said stepping close to him, placing a hand on his soft cheek, embracing him in another warm hug, resting your head on his shoulder.

He hugged back immediately this time, placing his strong arms around your waist, "thanks for clearing that up, Y/n, i really thought I lost you there"

You stayed like that for what felt like forever until, Milo reluctantly pulled away and guided you to a fence facing a field of sunflowers that seemed to glow against the setting sun.

Here's an excerpt from the prologue:

3 years later...

Footsteps were heard from behind the man on the deck as they stopped right behind him.

They wore a classic fire nation uniform, but it looked custom made. A helmet was upon their head and the angle they were standing made it impossible for Zuko and Iroh to see their face.

A gloved hand tapped Zhao's shoulder, and he turned around as if just getting caught in a scheme.

"Excuse me? Your harbor? Commander Zhao? Last time I checked, this was my harbor and I am the Commander of this army. Now go hang the laundry or something, let me welcome our guests"

He left the deck grumbling and the commander took off their helmet, revealing it to be Zuko's bodyguard and best friend Y/n.

Puberty had hit both of the 16 year olds, making them both look slightly older and different to each other, than they did 3 years ago.

Letting her h/l, h/c hair flow out, her e/c eyes made contact with the boy's golden ones, "Prince Zuko!" She smiled widely waiting for an answer.
