Since i'm caught up i can do fun things again! I shall he counting down my top 5 favorite sun and moon pokemon so far, i will be excluding alolan forms because they technically aren't new.

Honorable mentions:

Pikipek, it's cool, but we don't know much about it, but it may just be my flying type on my team.

Pollosand, cool concept, cool design, buuuut it's just sand.

Mudsale, really liked it at first but then the hype went down.

Salandit. Salandit has an over slick and appealing design. It's like a bandit, a thief that's up to no good. I'd probably make this my fire type if i wasn't already........ :P

Stuffle. Awww c'mon this thing is so cuuuute :D. It's a friggin' teddy bear that falls when it attacks. I'd hug it if i couuuuld. Whoever calls this thing not cute is wrong >:(

Lycanroc, moon form. It's so cool! It's like a fusion between zoroark and lucrio. Them glowing eyes means this thing has freakin' night vison. That hair, that badass smirk, i give gamefreak claps 👏👏👏

Lurantis. Lurantis originally was going to be number 5, then as I was planning the order. Then I realized, this thing is pretty awesome. It's design is elegant, and who doesn't like a good elegant design ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it bumped it's way up to number 2, and it may just be my grass type my alola region.

Litten. Oh my gosh this thing is so amazing. Fire is my favorite type, cats/kittens are my favorite pet/animal. THEY MASHED IT TOGETHER AND GAVE US THIS AWESOME FIRE CAT. it's just so awesome that i was team litten as soon as i saw it. Don't worry, chimchar will always be number 1! But litten, will most likely be one of my favorite pokemon.
