Classes Begin
"Can't be late for my first class!" (y/n) groaned as he ran down the halls of the school. Blue had once again gotten out early and because of that (y/n) had been left to wake Calem. That had taken longer than expected.
"Ah, there you are" Perrin was about to close the classroom door when she noticed (y/n) turn the corner. "You were almost late"
"Had to get my roommate up" he explained as he ran past Perrin and into the classroom, quietly making his way to one of the few empty seats towards the middle of the classroom. He was sat between two people he had yet to meet.
The professor seemed to notice (y/n) but didn't comment on his tardiness. "Alright class. I am professor Viola. I'll be teaching you photography in this and any other photography related classes you may have"
"Over the coming months myself, along with my assistant" she motioned to Perrin who was sitting behind Viola's desk "will show you everything you need to know when it comes to beginner Pokémon photography"
"Just because this is a class about taking pictures doesn't mean it'll be easy" Perrin added in as she took out her camera and took a photo of the class.

"Alola class!" Professor oak walked into the classroom seconds before the bell rang, signaling that the class was starting. "That's how you say hello in Alola for those that don't know"
"Alola!" A few Alolan and Kantonian sounding Students replied.
(Y/n) watched from his seat beside Blue in the third row as the professor walked up to the front of the room. "As you know this class is on regional variations. Now I know to some that may not mean much just when I say it, therefore I've brought with myself an example" he motioned to the door and what looked to be a white skinned clone of himself walked inside. "Say hello to Kantonian professor Oak!"
Before anyone could say hello someone spoke. "Gramps?" (Y/n) turned to see Blue looking very surprised.
"Hm?" The white Oak turned and noticed Blue. "Ah! My grandson is in your class, of course" he nodded as he looked at the darker skinned Oak. "...Erm, what was his name, now?"
(Y/n) chuckled which earned a glare from Blue as he groaned loudly. "Gramps, no one ever laughs at that joke! Would you give it a break?"
"I thought it was funny" the darker Oak shrugged which earned an appreciative smile from his white doppelgänger. "But as I was saying, my cousin and I are a wonderful way of demonstrating how-"
"Hahaha!" A Kantonian sounding girl sitting in the front row of the class laughed loudly. "I think I get it now, professor! You're a really funny person aren't you?"
"She's a slow one isn't she?" Blue whispered which caused (y/n) to nod his head.
"See Blue?" Professor Oak asked with a smirk. "You stand corrected"
Blue just groaned again and rubbed his head.
The darker Oak let out another chuckle before returning to what he was saying and then proceeding to explain what they'd be doing in this class.

(Y/n) sat in silence as he listened to the conversation of the Paldeans sitting around him. "I heard that student council elections will be in a couple months" Juliana spoke, this caused Nemona's head to quickly turn to her. "Figured that would interest you"
"It does!" Nemona smirked as she clapped her hands together. "I've already started planning my campaign. Just need a vice president" she looked hopefully at Juliana who in turn looked at (y/n).
"You up for it?" This question surprised everyone, especially (y/n) who almost coughed up the pizza he was eating. Nemona looked like she was about to argue.
"Me?" (Y/n) asked with a very confused look. "No. I wouldn't be any good for that position"
"Juliana I asked you because I want you" Nemona spoke before looking at Arven and (y/n). "No offense"
"None taken" they both replied as Arven unwrapped his sandwich and took a bite of it.
"Yeah, just figured it would be a good way to get closer to (y/n), force him to stay in our friend group by getting him elected as your VP" Juliana shrugged as she bit into a sandwich that Arven had made for her.
"I'm not planning on going anywhere" (y/n) shrugged as he took another bite of his pizza. "Perrin would kill me"
"Yeah! And he doesn't even have any Pokémon! Who would I battle during boring meetings?!" Nemona asked loudly, making it sound like the end of the world.
"I don't think you're supposed to battle during student council meetings" Arven spoke quietly before again biting into his sandwich.
"If I could get away with it back in our last school I can get away with it here" Nemona insisted before again looking at Juliana. "Come on, please?"
Juliana shrugged. "Alright, could be fun. But I want a way to fit (y/n) in"
The boy shook his head. "No way I'd be elected for anything. If you pay me though I'll be the presidents secretary" he spoke the last part jokingly but Nemona quickly pulled out her wallet.
"Does twenty thousand an hour work?" She asked as she started pulling the money out to prove she had it. (Y/n) stared wide eyed at the size of the girls wallet.
"She's not the best with money" Arven whispered to the boy so Nemona wouldn't hear.
Juliana gave (y/n) a curious look and waited for him to speak. "Nemona that's a bit much" he spoke as he reached out and stopped her from pulling the money from her wallet.
Nemona seemed to consider this for a moment. "...ten thousand?"
"How about two" Juliana asked as she reached over and pat Nemona's arm.
"Two?" She asked with a surprised look. "That's only enough to buy one revive!"
"It's above minimum wage" Arven countered with a shrug. "Barely"
"Oh" she looked at (y/n). "So... is that enough? I can go up"
"Two thousand is fine" (y/n) nodded as he finished his pizza. "But remember you still have to win the election for this to go into play"
"I've yet to lose a student council election" Nemona smirked before reaching across the table to hug Juliana. "And with señorita popular here I can't lose!"

History class was the next one up. (Y/n) arrived in the room early and took an empty seat beside Calem and another empty seat. "Hey"
"Bonjour" Calem lay with his head on the table until the professor for the class, an incredibly tall man, entered the room. Calem took one look at the man and went wide eyed as he sat up. "AZ?" He whispered the name.
"You know him?" (Y/n) asked, curious because of their new professors appearance.
"He's a friend of Serena" Calem replied quietly.
"Who-"
"Hello" the man spoke in a thick Kalosian accent as he looked over the class he had been assigned to teach. Everyone went silent as he spoke. He seemed to notice Calem and ever so slightly smiled. "I am AZ. I am aware I don't look to be the history teacher type, however I can assure you I know more history than any man alive"
Everyone remained silent as he walked over to the whiteboard and grabbed a marker. "In this class we will be discussing the past three thousand years, mostly in regards to the Kalos region" he started drawing what appeared to be a battle with many people and Pokémon. "Let us start"
—————————————————————
As (y/n) entered the room for his last class of the day he noticed a Nurse Joy sitting behind the professor's desk with an Audino at her side. He hadn't expected one of them as a professor but he supposed it made sense. This was a class about taking care of Pokémon after all. "Good morning!"
"Good morning" (y/n) replied with a small smile before making his way to an empty seat between two people he didn't know.
After another minute the class began. It went very similarly to all the other classes, professor Joy introducing herself and her Pokémon before proceeding to tell them what the class was about. Then, after she sent Audino off to grab something, was when it became interesting.
"Now I've set this up so that half of our class are already trainers and half of the class don't yet have Pokémon" Audino returned with a smile, a tray full of pokeballs in its hands. "We're about to change that"
(Y/n) gave a confused look as a girl somewhere in the class squealed happily. "For the duration class everyone will have a partner. One new to raising Pokémon and one with experience. Together-" she raised up one of the pokeballs from the tray. "You will raise a Pokémon, tracking what you do with it each day in a journal. At the end of the year you'll be graded based on how you raised it"
"How can two people raise a Pokémon together?" Somebody blurred out from behind (y/n). "Unless they're sharing a dorm it doesn't really work"
"That I leave up to you. But know it can be done" She put the pokeball back down before walking over to her desk and grabbing a piece of paper. "When I call your names come down and take a Pokémon"
(Y/n) waited eagerly, he had to admit he was very excited by the idea of getting his first Pokémon. He wasn't sure that he was ready for the responsibility but the idea of sharing this Pokémon with someone helped him to alleviate those worries.
Professor Joy called people down in pairs. The first group got a Bidoof, the second got an Alolan Rattata, and it went on with people getting Pokémon of that same commonness until finally, just as he was starting to think he would be last (y/n) heard his name.
"And our penultimate pair, (Y/n) and Selene" (y/n) quickly stood up and made his way to the professor's desk. He noticed that his partner hadn't yet come down. "Selene? Is Selene in here?" Professor Joy frowned as she looked around.
"Selene!" (Y/n) turned to the voice to see someone he didn't recognize shake the slow girl from Professor Oak's class.
The girl had just been staring straight ahead with a small smile but snapped out of it as she was shaken. "Huh? Oh! That's me!" She quickly hopped out of her seat before running down towards where Professor Joy and (y/n) waited for her.
(Y/n) sighed as he hoped his new partner would grow on him, if not this would be a very uncomfortable partnership. At least when she was staring off into the distance she had a nice resting face.
"Alola, partner!" Selene smiled as she reached the front of the room and looked to Professor Joy. "Sorry about that"
"It's fine" the professor replied kindly. She held out the second to last pokeball between the two. "Ready to meet your Pokémon?"
Selene smiled looked to her new partner. "You want to do the honors?"
"Me?" The boy couldn't hold back his smile as he nodded. He took the pokeball before realizing he didn't know how to use it. "Uh... how do I use this?"
"Throw it" Professor Joy replied kindly.
The boy nodded before gently throwing the pokeball towards the ground between him and Selene. It opened and flew back into his hand as a Pokémon emerged from it. "IT'S SO CUTE!" (Y/n) and Selene both spoke as they smiled widely and quickly knelt down to get a better look at their new Pokémon.
"Wait these are two Pokémon" (y/n) spoke with a confused look.
"Tandemaus stick together no matter what" Professor Joy spoke as she watched the two kids freak out over their new Pokémon with a smile. "Because of that a pair of Tandemaus are counted by most as one Pokémon"
"Hi" (y/n) looked down at the mice and considered trying to pick them up, he didn't want to accidentally hurt them though so he didn't.
Selene noticed the boys apprehension to pick up the Pokémon and decided to literally take matters into her own hands. "Come on you two" she gently picked them up and held them in her arms. They both widely opened their mouths and cried out before cuddling into Selene. "You want to try?"
"Uh..." Selene didn't wait for an answer. She quickly transferred the mice from her arms and into her partners.
"You'll get more comfortable with picking them up once you've been raising Pokémon for a while" Selene smiled as she watched the mice cuddle into the boy.
He nodded and the two slowly made their ways back to their seats, their phones quickly transmitting their numbers to each other.
