Chapter Nine: Shouldn't have agreed to anything.
I wake up to Hope kissing me on the lips. I immediately pull away. She looks disappointed, like she was enjoying it. I look down. I'm wearing a Pink Male's Kimono. Sure, I have nothing against Kimonos, I wore them all the time back in Kanto, it was just the color.
A few minutes later I returned in my normal outfit. I found them in a nearby trash.
I walk to Saylor. She throws a Pokéball, releasing her Audino. I send out Braixen.
"Surf!"
"Jump!" Braixen nimbly dodges. "Use flamethrower." Audino looks pretty weak. Seems like Saylor didn't heal her after our last battle.
"Scratch. Over and over again." Braixen kept scratching. Then his claws grew longer and he used cut. "Yes!" I say when Audino lays in a heap on the ground.
"You-you beat me! How?" Saylor said. I walk over to Saylor. I rip off her ugly pink wig, and beautiful brown locks tumble down her head. Everyone looks at this new Saylor in shock. Her eyes soften.
"What-where am I? Who are you?" I look in the wig. "A brainwashing chip. Someone else is in on this." "What do you mean?" Saylor asks. Punkalina walks up to her. "Hey, Saylor, it will all be fine." "Who's Saylor? My name is Sara." She gazed around at everyone for a second. She looked at Prof. Sycamore, and the Professor's eyes teared up.
"Dad!" Sara said. She ran to Sycamore. "So this is where you've been! Last I remember you told me you were going to try to find where these Glam Girls were, and what they were doing. You wanted to free all the stolen Pokémon." Years were streaming down his cheeks
"But it couldn't have been too long, right Dad? Maybe a week?" "You have been missing for three years! The real boss must have brainwashed you!"
"Th-three years? Actually, last I remember, someone grabbed onto me and put a wig on my head." Tears streamed down her cheeks as well. She looked at me.
She ran at me in a matter of seconds, giving me a great big hug, and a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you for saving me from that spell." She said.
"Hey! What'd you do to our boss?" A grunt said. "Rip off the wigs!" I yelled.
Everyone did so. Pink wigs went everywhere. The grunts' eyes cleared.
They all had the same story of how they became grunts as Sara's.
Later that day, we held a fair of sorts. Everyone who used to be a grunt got their Pokémon back. Sara turned out to be very talented in Grass and Water types. I asked if she was going to give the Key Stone she had on a necklace back to its owner. Turns out it was hers. Sycamore claimed it was as well. Also, all of the people who had been robbed by the Glam Girls got their Pokémon back. The Pokémon that were killed were mourned in the Pokémon cemetery. The one who cried the most was Sara, who had realized she was the one who had killed or ordered most of these Pokémon to be killed.
That night, we slept in a tight room with a bunch of sleeping bags. The grunts were all back home, so it was mostly just us kids, Ash, Sycamore, and Serena. Hope and Sara insisted to sleep right next to me. I kind of feel bad that I will have to leave, and am probably married to someone else at this time.
"Hey, Electro?" Sara asked me. We were the only ones awake. "Yes?" "Tomorrow, would you battle me?" She asked. I shrugged. "Sure." "Okay!" She said. A bit later, she was also in dreamland. I lay alone, thinking about how crazy my life has turned out to be.
