The Isle of Armor: Part 1

"And the winner is Champion Isaac!"

Zamazenta falls the the ground, fainted. Zacian lands on her feet, standing proud in her Crowned Sword form.

The crowd cheers and Hop returns Zamazenta to his pokeball.

"Agh, gutted! You're always one step ahead of me, mate! Good hustle, Zamazenta." Hop says. We meet in the middle and shake hands.

"Great battle, as always, Isaac." he says. I can hear the dissapointment in his voice.

"You'll beat me someday, Hop, I know you will." I tell him.

Hop and I return to our separate locker rooms and change out of our Challenger uniforms. I meet him in the lobby and find Leon talking to him. They wave me over.

"Good match, boys. I almost let Charizard out to join in on the fun!" he praises us.

"It was really nothing. I barely got to land a single attack, that's how powerful Isaac's team is." Hop shook his head.

"Nonsense. Good hustle. Hop, Sonia asked me to come get you. She needs some help at the lab." Leon said.

"Alright! Tell her I'll be there in the blink of an eye!" Hop says. He runs outside and summons Corviknight, and flies off.

"Isaac, I'd like you to take this." Leon says, handing me some sort of ticket. It had a golden armor plate on it.

"What is this?" I ask him.

"It's a ticket to the Isle of Armor. That's where I was trained in the ways of strength and friendship. I'd like you to go there and see if for yourself." he says, smiling.

"You really want me to take this? Are you sure?" I ask him.

"One hundred and ten percent, Isaac. Take the train from Wedgehurst. You'll know how to get to the island from there." he says.

"Thanks a ton, Leon! Tell Hop where I am!" I say to him, waving goodbye and running out the door.

I run outside and summon Charizard, and we fly to Wedgehurst. He lands at the train station and I return him to his ball. I walk inside the station and see a man in a green sweater vest with a white suit standing next to the railway.

"Ah, good morning, Champion. Where would you like to go today?" he asks.

"To a place called the Isle of Armor, I guess? Here, is this what it is?" I ask, handing him the ticket Leon gave me. His eyes widened at the sight of it.

"My, my, that is indeed an Armor Pass! Climb aboard, I'll take you there!" he says. I get on the train and it starts. It takes me to a station with a bunch of Corviknight taxis, and one of them flies me to the Isle of Armor.

We land at the station and I get off the taxi. I was about to walk outside but someone is in my way. They looked at me, nervously.

"I'm supposed to join the Master Dojo up ahead, but there's some creepy person outside the door!" he said.

I was about to respond when suddenly they ran off, and someone came into the station. She had pink hair and makeup on, and she had the Poison type uniform on, as well as a fluffy white coat.

"Hey there! Nice to meet you! You must be the new person who's supposed to join the dojo! I'm Klara, and I'm here to escort you to the Master Dojo!" she greeted me, in a cheery tone. "Hold on, you look familiar."

Now that she said it, I do remember her. A Slowpoke had ridden over from the Isle of Armor and she watched me catch it at Wedgehurst station.

Klara suddenly turned around and started mumbling to herself. She then turned back to me.

"Why don't we have a quick battle, just to break the ice?" she suggested. "Meet me outside and say the word!"

Klara walked outside, and I just stood there. I replayed the past two minutes in my head. What's the Master Dojo and what does it want with me? Or, at least, what is it? I walk outside and my eyes widen at the sight in front of me. There was an enormous beach and a large field in front of me.

Klara walked up to me.

"Ready for that battle?" she asked.

"No time like the present." I joke.

She laughs and readies a pokeball.

"Venipede, let's go!" she says. She throws the pokeball and out comes a Venipede. Poison and Bug.

"Charizard, time to shine!" I yell, throwing up my pokeball. Charizard emerges from the ball and spread his wings, and roared. He looked dead at the Venipede.

"Use Flamethrower!" I tell him, swiping my hand through the air.

Charizards throat heats up and he opens his mouth, a massive burst of fire coming for the Venipede. The bug Pokémon was burned and fainted on impact.

Klara returned Venipede.

"No way!" she exclaimed. She threw out a Slowpoke. Psychic in Galar.

"Use Dragon Claw!"

Charizards claw glowed purple and he took one swipe at the Slowpoke, and it's legs simply gave out, and it collapsed.

Klara face heated up. She returned Slowpoke and turned around, mumbling to herself again. She turns back to me.

"Alright, kid, I'll tell you what. See that big dojo in the distance?" she asked, pointing to my right. I look in that direction, and see a big dojo, and look back to her.

"Whatever you do, DO NOT GO NEAR THAT DOJO!" she says in a very stern voice. She storms off in the direction of the Dojo.

"Well, that was weird. Good hustle, Charizard!" I say, turning around to Charizard.

He roars again, and wraps his wings around me.

"That's the battle style that wins Championships!" I praise him. I return him to his ball and look around, taking in the sights. There was a Wailord in the distance, in the water.

There were multiple Slowpoke on the beach, and the grass was filled with things like Buneary, Jigglypuff, Abra, and loads more. I knew these Pokémon because Hop took me on his trips to different regions.

I walk further up the path when I step on something, and a sound comes out from it.

"Dig!"

I lift my foot up and see a little strand of hair coming up from the ground, and then a Diglett pops out.

"Woah, Diglett! There you are!" I heard a voice.

It was someone who was looking for their Diglett. Apparently he brought 151 of them in from the Alola Region...

I walked further up the path when I saw Klara with another woman. She had a green shirt and brown hair, along with white pants and earrings. When I approached, she looked to me.

"Oh, you must be the new student joining the Master Dojo today!" she said. She sounded nice. Klara looked at me and her expression changed to a surprised one. She suddenly ran up to me and stopped.

"Yes, I was just about to tell you! I met him back at the station! I was just about to tell you about him!" Klara said, desperately. I simply put my hands in my pockets and chuckled a bit.

"It's a pleasure to meet you! May I ask you your name?" the other woman asks.

"I'm Isaac, ma'am. It's a pleasure to meet you as well." I say to her.

"Oh, my! Klara, you didn't tell us our new student was the Champion!" the woman laughed.

Klaras eyes widened and she looked at me, then back at the ground.

"Oh, how rude of me! Making you stand out here in the cold air! Come on inside! My name is Honey, I'm the matron of this Dojo! My darling hubby runs this place! Come on inside and meet him!" she chuckles. Klara and I followed her inside, and when I stepped in, the whole place was a sight to see. There was a large crowd of trainers, I assume students of the Dojo, all in yellow and black uniforms. When the door opened, they all looked in our direction.

"Well, you certainly aren't on my list of new trainers!" said another voice. I looked to my right and saw a small boy with a pink sweater and khaki pants on.

"Oh, hello, dear!" Honey said. "Isaac, this is my son, Hyde. He loves to make machines."

"Are you some sort of outlier? You should give this a try." he said, giving me a blue charm. "Just don't open it, okay? It has a lot of carefully placed machinery in there!" he says. He walks away.

"Hyde loves to make inventions, but they take watts to properly function." Honey says. That catches my attention. Watts? I have tons of those. "Anyways, let's get to the main event!" she says, leading me through the crowd of students. Some of them whisper.

Honey led me through the crowd to the man teaching them. He was an elderly man with a green and black sweater, and white pants, and he had a hat that matched his sweater. When he took a look at me, he smiled.

"Ah, you must be the new student! I am Mustard, Master of this here Dojo! I see you've already met Honey and Klara!" he said. He sounded cheery. "I'm pleased as cheese that you could join us!" he said.

"Well, cheesed to meet you!" I say, holding back a laugh.

"Ah, I see you've got a fabulous sense of humor as well!"

"Don't take him for a silly old man! He's a real beast when it gets serious." Honey said. "I'll leave the rest for you, sweetie!" she said to Mustard.

"Yay! This is my favorite part!" Mustard said.

"What part?" I ask him.

"I want to see how you play in a Pokémon battle!"

At those words, the whole crowd of students backed away, clearing the floor, revealing a small Pokémon battle field. Mustard and I take our places and the students cheer.

Mustard tossed a pokeball and out came a Mienfoo.

"Lucario, let's go!" I yell out, throwing the Ultra Ball onto the field, and Lucario bursted out. He landed on the ground and kneeled down, eyes closed. He stood back up and opened his eyes, and readied for battle.

You'll have to catch me up later on what is going on

"Yeah, I will!" I say. The crowd looks at me confused, as well as Mustard.

"Mienfoo, use Fake Out!" Mustard calmly says. Mienfoo speeds around Lucario and claps its paws together. Lucario didn't flinch. His ability was Inner Focus, which prevents flinching.

"Use Psychic!" I tell my Pokémon. Lucario's eyes glow bright blue and he lifts Mienfoo into the air with his mind, and Mienfoo struggles in the air. Lucario then sends Mienfoo plummeting to the ground, and when it slams into the ground, it fainted.

"Ooh, I like that! You have that flame in your heart from one of my previous students!" he says, returning Mienfoo. He then throws out a Shinx.

"Use Earthquake!" I tell Lucario. Lucario only uses Earthquake at nearly a hundredth of its normal power, as the full power would collapse the whole dojo.

Shinx shakes around from the ground shifts and faints in one hit.

The students gasp as Mustard returns Shinx.

They all start clapping, and Lucario looks around anxiously. I walk up to him and put a hand on his shoulder. He looks back at me.

"Great job, Lucario." I praise him.

"My, my, what amazing power!" Mustard exclaims.

Everyone keeps clapping until Mustard silences them.

"I think our new student has proved his worth to join us!" he laughed, turning around. "...even if it was by accident."

Everyone started clapping again.

"Your Lucario is truly a fighter! I hope we can learn from him if you allow us, Isaac."

I look to Lucario.

If they want to learn from our style, I would be honored to teach them for you.

I nod and look back to Mustard.

"I present you with your very own Master Dojo outfit!" Mustard says, handing me a uniform. I take the uniform and put on the jacket, and strap on the leg guards.

"Wait, Master!" I hear Klara yell out. She runs up and shoved me aside. I stumbled backward but Lucario caught me and helped me stand up.

What a rude colleague.

"Where's my uniform?" she whined.

"Oh, Klara, I haven't given you a uniform yet? Well, in that case, here you are!" Mustard said, handing her a uniform. She turned around to show off, but suddenly something pink zoomed by and stole her uniform out of her hands.

"What was that?"

Mustard just laughed. I looked to him and he put his hands behind his back.

"Maybe I let them out of their pokeballs a little early." Mustard laughed. "This is the first of the three trials here at the Master Dojo. This is the first trial. Catch those Slowpoke and get Klara's uniform back!" he said. Suddenly he walked away into some kind of living room.

Everyone ran outside, and I simply just stood there. I was still taking all this in. I walk outside and find the students in some sort of valley. I see the Slowpoke, but they were speeding around at such a speed where running can't catch them. I see nearly all the students are out of breath.

"This would be easier with a bike!" one wheezed. At that remark, I took out my Rotom phone and summoned my bike, and got on and sped over to one of the Slowpokes.

I let Boltund out of her ball and she runs alongside me.

"Bash that Slowpoke and get the uniform!" I order her.

Boltund drifts away and smacks the Slowpoke away, and it tumbled to the ground. Boltund picked up the uniform and trotted back to me.

Boltund took out the rest of them and got the uniform back, and I put away the bike and walked back to the Dojo. The other students gasped when I walked in. I had retrieved all three parts of Klara's uniform. I walked up to Mustard, and suddenly Klara ran between us.

"Master!" she panted. "I'm back!"

"Good hustle, Klara. Thought I'm afraid Isaac has already completed the trial." Mustard said. Klara looked to me and scowled.

"You got my uniform back?" she questioned me.

"Yeah, I did. Here." I say, handing her the uniform.

She doesn't says thank you.

"Isaac has completed the first trial!" Mustard announced. The rest of the students groaned. "Though since he was new here, I'm offering everyone a second chance."

Everyone cheered up and found new energy to do the trials with.

"Oh, that reminds me. Honey, where are the little ones?" Mustard asked Honey.

"Oh, that's right! Thanks for reminding me, darling! Squirtle, Bulbasaur, come on in, sweeties!" Honey called out. I heard the light footfalls of two Pokémon. I looked to my right and saw a Bulbasaur and Squirtle trotting out from the other room and they came and stood by Honey.

"Isaac, these little sweeties are Bulbasaur and Squirtle, and they aren't like the rest of their species. When these little one grow up, they gain the ability to Gigantamax. I would love it if you would take one of them with you on your adventure!" she said. I looked at the two Pokémon and kneeled down. They both came up to me. I held out my hand and Squirtle put his flipper on my hand. Bulbasaur releases its vines from the flower bud on its back, and set them on my other hand.

"I'd like to take Squirtle." I say to Honey.

Squirtle cheers and Bulbasaur retracts it's vines and goes back to Honey. It didn't seem disappointed.

"Thank you, Isaac! I hope you and Squirtle grow strong together!" Honey said. She and Bulbasaur walked off, not before giving me Squirtles pokeball. I return Squirtle to its ball.

"Now I'm hungry. I could go for some Max Soup." Mustard started. Suddenly all the students ran out again.

"Isaac," Mustard told me. "come along."

I follow Mustard outside, into the wetlands where the Slowpoke were. He led me to the entrance of a forest. He stopped and turned around to face me.

"Max Soup needs Max Mushrooms to make. Max Mushrooms are red with a swirly pattern on the top. They are particularly found in caves. Head on down to the Warm-Up Tunnel, through the forest. Find three of them and come back to the Dojo! Don't keep me waiting!" he laughed. He patted me on the back and walked back to the Dojo.

I turned and looked at the forest. I walked in instantly, I got a funny feeling in my stomach.

Fear.

I walked through the forest, and came out into another clearing, and I saw the cave Mustad was talking about up ahead.

I walked through the grass, avoiding all the wild Pokémon, when suddenly something was held across my throat. It looked like a sharp blade. Wait, I recognize this. It's shaped like a sickle, and has a green perimeter around it. Hop told me about these things back in his Kanto trip. The name starts with an 'S', but I can't remember the name

"Scyther!" the Pokémon said.

That's what it was! Scyther!

"Hey, let's talk about this, shall we?" I ask, carefully gripping Cinderace's pokeball.

"Scy."

"Fine then. Cinderace, come on!" I yell out. I jab the Scyther in the stomach with my elbow, and roll out from under its sickle arm.

I throw the pokeball and Cinderace bursts from it.

"Hit it with Fire Punch!" I say. Cinderace ignites his fist in flames and charges at the Scyther, and punches it square in the chest. He lands on the ground, on his feet, but the Scyther dizzily flies through the air. I aim carefully and throw an Ultra Ball at the Scyther, and it makes contact, sucking Scyther inside. The ball falls to the ground and Cinderace readied another Fire Punch.

The ball shakes once.

Twice.

Three times.

And clicks. I had just caught a Scyther! I could have it out to help Hop with its research.

I pick up the ball and take out the Pokémon Box Link. I open the grid of Pokemkn I have in the PC Box and it scans Scythers pokeball. The Ultra Ball was now empty. It had taken Scyther into it. I put the Ultra Ball back in my bag, and return Cinderace. I walk into the cave and see tons of Ground type Pokémon.

Something red catches my eye. I look dead ahead and see a cluster of those Max Mushrooms. Three of them. I sprinted up to them and was about to snap their roots, when I heard running behind me. I stood up and looked behind me. It was Klara.

"Hold it!" she gasped, stopping in front of me. "I saw those Max Mushrooms first!"

"Actually, no you didn't. I wa sin this cave way before you." I say. This girl was actually beginning to get real annoying.

"Nuh-Uh! I saw 'em first! Now, why don't you let me just take them and we can go our separate ways?" she mischievously asked, reaching for the Max Mushrooms. However, I grabbed her wrist and shoved her back a little.

"Klara, fair game, I found them first!" I say, stern.

"Fine then! We'll have a battle here and now! If I beat you, I get the Mushrooms! Don't expect me to go easy on you like last time!" she exclaimed.

She readied a pokeball and I did the same.

She threw out Slowpoke. This time I throw in Zacian, in her Crowned Sword form.

"What!?" Klara exclaimed. "What kind of Pokémon is that?!"

"Zacian, use Crunch!" I tell the legendary. Zacian throws her sword in the air and bites down with her fangs on the Slowpoke, even though it shows no emotion, and it faints. Zacian drops the Slowpoke from her fangs and catches her sword in her mouth.

Zacian quickly breezes through Klara's Koffing and Whirlipede. Klara returns her last Pokémon, and Zacian simply stands next to me, her gaze fixed on Klara. Zacian suddenly drops her sword and gives it to me. She changed back to her normal form and walks up to Klara, who was terrified by the giant wolf.

"Isaac, what is it doing? Stop it!" she squealed. Zacian leaned her head down, and Klara put her hands over her head, but was surprised or find that Zacian merely licked her cheek.

"Zacian isn't the type of Pokémon that attacks on sight of a person. She's a real sweetheart once you get to know her." I say, walking up to Zacian, and scratched behind her ears. Zacian looked at me and nodded.

"Oh, ok. Fine! Take the Mushrooms! I'll find my own!" Klara yelled, running out of the cave.

"Well, that's that." I say. "Hey, Zacian, could you help me cut those Mushrooms out of their roots?" I ask my legendary. Zacian nods and I give her the sword back, and she helps me cut the Mushrooms out from the ground.

"Thanks!" I praise her, once I have the mushrooms in my hands. Her fur is hard as steel now. I return her to the Master Ball I caught her in, and walk back to the Dojo. Once I get inside, all of the students are back, with no Max Mushrooms.

Mustard came out from the kitchen on the right.

"Did I hear the door?" I heard Mustard say. His eyes widened when he saw me. "Isaac! You're back! I was beginning to worry. Did you get the Max Mushrooms?"

"Right here." I say, presenting the mushrooms.

"Ooh, yay! Hand them here's will you?" he asks.

"Wait! Master!" I hear Klara's voice. She barged into the Dojo, with her own Max Mushrooms in her hand.

"Ooh, Klara! Good to see you!" Mustard says, cheerily. "Honey, they have the Mushrooms!"

Mustard leads us into the kitchen, where Honey is waiting with the pot steaming.

"That's great, sweetie! Isaac, I hope you don't mind, but I think that we should use Klara's findings for this Max Soup! I just wanted you to know I hope that she isn't stealing your thunder!" she said.

"It's no problem. Fair game, that's what I told her." I say, tucking the Max Mushrooms into my bag. Honey takes Klara's Max Mushrooms and she makes the soup. About twenty minutes later, I was chatting with one of the other students.

"Wait, so your Cinderace took down Leon's Charizard in one shot?" they exclaimed.

"It wasn't that big of a deal. It was one Max Lightning. I don't know if Cinderace was on a massive power surge, or Charizard didn't have that high of defenses." I say.

Mustard then called all of us over to the kitchen. Mustard had me take a seat next to him.

I took a sip of the soup. It tastes delicious. Suddenly, a felt some weird energy building up inside me. It was a big buildup when I finished it.

"Oh, don't worry, Isaac. They Gigantamax energy from the soup doesn't affect humans, only Pokémon. Which reminds me, it's time for the third trial!" he said, standing up. "Klara and Isaac have both proved their worth for the third trial. Everyone, meet in the middle of the main area! Isaac, Klara, hang back and prepare for battle! Head outside to the battle court when you are ready!" Mustard said. All of the students went back to the main room, and Mustard came to talk to me.

"Isaac, the students, Honey and I have watched your matches on the television since the beginning of your Champion career, starting with your match against Leon. I knew the old sport would be beaten down eventually." he laughed. "Anyways, back on topic, Honey quickly realized that your Cinderace cannot Gigantamax. Does this bother you?" he asks.

"Actually, it bothers Cinderace the most. He's been on my team the longest and both my Charizard and Corviknight can Gigantamax, but not Cinderace." I say, rubbing the back of my head.

"Well, you remember that feeling you had building up inside of you when you ate the Max Soup?" he asks. I nod and he chuckles.

"If your Cinderace has Max Soup, he will gain the ability to Gigantamax!"

My eyes widened at that sentence. I grab Cinderace's pokeball and release him from it. He looks around and Mustard grabs his hand. Cinderace turns his head to Mustard.

"You've been with Isaac since the beginning of his journey, yes?" he asks Cinderace. Cinderace nods and turns his head to the side.

"Well, how about we serve you up some Max Soup so you can Gigantamax?" Mustard asks. Cinderace has the same reaction as me. He looks at me and I nod.

"It's true, Cinderace." I tell him. Cinderace calms down and takes his hand back, and Mustard has one of the students make some Max Soup for Cinderace. The student gives Cinderace a small bowl of Max Soup, and Cinderace, being the half-heathen he is, slurps it down in one go.

"Cinderace," I say to him, facepalming. "no need to gulp it all down like that. You're being rude." I tell him.

"No, no, it's quite alright, Isaac!" Mustard laughs. "There are messes here all the time, and Honey doesn't mind cleaning it up! Cinderace, do you feel any different?"

Cinderace looks at his arms and back at Mustard, shaking his head.

"Well, I'll tell you a small feature that Cinderace will gain. Any Fire type moves that Cinderace knows will become G-Max Fireball, a fire type Max Move that only Cinderace can learn. It bypasses any Pokémon's ability, ensuring massive damage. I suggest we head out to the Battle Court. Klara must be getting impatient." Mustard says. He signals for Cinderace and I to follow him, and we exit from the door in the back. We walk down a small pathway and it presents a humongous battlefield. Klara is already in the middle, and Honey and all the students are on the sidelines.

Mustard walked in front of all the students, Klara and I standing next to him.

"Students, the time has come for the third, ultimate, trial! A Pokémon battle between Klara and Isaac! Whoever wins this battle will be granted the secret armor of the Master Dojo! " Mustard announced. That sounded like a cool prize. Klara and I walked to our trainer spots, and she suddenly spoke.

"Uh, oh! Looks like some Toxic Spikes have made it onto the field!" she said. It was clear that she put them there.

Toxic Spikes are like Stealth Rock, which damage pokemon that switch in, but these were much worse. Any Pokémon that switched in would be poisoned. It didn't count for the Pokémon a trainer started with.

Cinderace flipped in front of me, energized as ever.

"Cinderace," I say. Cinderace looks behind himself, staring at me. "if I switch you out during this battle, the Pokémon I throw in next will be poisoned, so this battle is all up to you, okay?" I tell him. Cinderace simply smiled and nods, and turns back to Klara.

Mustard announces the battle as started, and Klara. She throws out a Skorupi, a Poison and Bug Type.

"Let's start off strong! Use Acrobatics!" I tell my starter. Cinderace glows white and nimbly strikes the Skorupi about six times. It falls to the ground and fainted. Cinderace landed back in front of me and bowed, and the students cheered.

Klara growled and returned Skorupi, and sent out a Galarian Weezing. Poison and Fairy.

"Knock it out with Pyro Ball!" I say. Cinderace kicks a blazing ball of fire at Weezing, but it missed.

"Hah! Missed that one by a mile, newbie!" Klara laughed. "Weezing, use Assurance!"

Weezing hit Cinderace with a dark move. That move doubles damage if the Pokémon using it was struck first. Cinderace slides back and grips his shoulder.

"Cinderace! You alright?" I ask, worried. Cinderace stands right back up. "Use Fire Punch!"

Cinderace ignited his fist in flames and smacked Weezing right in the face, making it faint. Cinderace winced from the pain of Assurance.

Klara threw in a Whirlipede next, and Cinderace knocked that out using Acrobatics. Her last Pokémon was Galarian Slowbro. It was part Psychic, but I didn't know it's other type.

"Alright, Slowbro! Time to dream bigger and be bigger! Time to Dynamax!" Klara happily exclaimed.

"Cinderace, time to burn bright! Gigantamax!" I yell out.

We hold up our Pokémon's pokeballs and they were sucked inside, and our Dynamax Bands filled them with energy. We threw the pokeballs into the air, and they both grew in size. Slowbro just grew in size, but Cinderace's Gigantamax was truly a sight to see. He was on top of a massive fireball, which had eyes! He was also a bit smaller than his Dynamax form, and his ears grew in length. A lot. He landed on the fireball and kneeled down, and let out his battle cry, much deeper in pitch. He stood back up and crossed his arms. Klara suddenly used a move.

"Use Max Geyser!" she yelled. Slowbro suddenly shot a massive stream of water at a Cinderace, and he took the hit full on.

"Cinderace!" I yell out. The water all suddenly evaporated. I turned back round and faced Klara. "Our turn! Burn like a crimson flame! Use G-Max Fireball!" I scream. Cinderace backflips over the fireball, and charges his legs, and kicks the fireball at Slowbro with so much power, it faints on impact. I had to hold onto my cap because of the wind Cinderace had just created.

Slowbro shrinks down from its massive size and faints. Cinderace shrinks down, and that move must've taken so much power out of him, because he fell forward as soon as he returned to normal size. I quickly run up and catch him.

"Hey, you're okay!" I say to him. Cinderace wearily opens his eyes. "You did it! We won! And you Gigantamaxed!" I exclaim. Cinderace's eyes light up, and suddenly he wraps me in a very tight hug.

"Okay, you can put me down!" I say. Cinderace sets me back on the ground, and I return him to his pokeball. Klara and I meet in the middle.

"Well, I guess it can't be helped." Klara started. "You can tell Mustard I cheated. I'll never become the poison type gym leader like this..."

"Klara, no." I say to her. She looks up at me.

"You were doing what you had to to win. I respect that. Put 'er there. That was the best match I've had all day." I tell her. She takes my hand, nervously and we shake.

"That's what you excel in, Isaac!" Mustard says, walking up next to us. "Kindness toward not only your Pokémon but your opponents as well! And congratulations! You have won the secret armor of the Dojo." he said. "Klara, on the other hand, I am very disappointed in you for cheating. Your punishment, you will have to clean the Dojo for six months!"

"W-What? I mean, that's it?" Klara asks.

"Yes, yes, that is all. You are dismissed." Mustard says, smiling. Klara runs off and Mustard leads me back into the Dojo.

"Isaac, this is the secret armor of the Masted Dojo!" he says. He takes out a pokeball and tossed it into the air. And the Pokémon that came out of it was the most adorable thing I've ever seen...
