Red's POV

'Where did it go ?'. Ethan picked up the bag and out his head inside, trying to figure out where the bomb was. 'It was right here a second ago'.

'It just disappeared ?'. Lyra walked to Ethan and looked here and there for the bomb.

'Guys, can we just stay happy with the fact that we are alive ?'. I walked forward, but was still confused about how the bomb just vanish.

Joey walked towards us. I was surprised he managed to run fifty meters in a few seconds.

'What happened ? Where did it go ?'. Joey walked briskly towards me. He pulled up his shorts and snatched the bag from Ethan's hands.

'Hey !'. Ethan roared.

'My bag'. Joey explained. 'Sorry'.

Joey turned the bag upside down, throwing three Pokeballs to the ground. 'Good thing they didn't steal these'.

'But why didn't they ?'. Ethan asked. 'Fishy right ?'.

Suddenly, a Blastoise sized rock fell from the sky on a tree.

The pine tree sliced in half and started falling towards us.

The pointy splinters of the rock shoot themselves like arrows towards us.

'Arbok, Poison Sting'. A woman commanded, coming out of nowhere.

The poison sting clashed with the broken pieces and turned them to dirt.

We looked down to protect ourselves from the dust, completely forgetting about the tree that should've crushed us by now.

I looked back, just to realize that a Magmar held it with its hands.

It threw the tree away like a baseball bat.

'Good job, Magmar'. Said a man, who was probably Magmar's trainer.

Both, the man and the woman stood side by side in front of us.

'You must evacuate the area', said the man.

'Who are you ?', I asked, slowly trying to stand up.

'Red, this is the part where we say thanks'. Lyra placed her hand on my right shoulder.

'Uh, thanks', shouted Ethan, then looked around, as nobody else thanked.

'Ah, don't mention it', said the woman.

'We are from the Rainbow Rocket', said the man. 'Giovanni sent us to follow you and protect you from things like this'.

'Giovanni ?', asked Ethan. 'Protect us ?'.

'Yes, he believes that you - Red, knows too much about Team Rocket and it will not be safe for you to be alone'.

'What happened just now ?', asked Lyra. 'What was that ? The thing which fell from the sky'.

'We don't know yet'.

'What were your names again ?', I asked.

'This is Ariana, and I am Archer', he said. 'We are Rainbow Executives'.

I looked at the similar clothes of the two Executives. White shoes, white pants, white jacket - full sleeved over a black t-shirt. And an R logo in rainbow color on the left chest pocket.

Archer had a teal blue hair color, followed by Ariana with maroon hair.

'Let's get away from this place', said Archer. 'There may be more rocks, about to fall from the sky'.

'I'm with him'. Ethan got up and started running, while looking in his Pokedex. 'Pokecentres near me'.

'Here are some results about the nearest Pokecentres', said the Pokedex in a female voice.

'What was that ?', asked Lyra.

'Google Assistant', said Ethan. 'Artificial Intelligence'.

'Is that even a thing ?'. Lyra snatched the Pokedex to look at the new cool upgrade. 'Where is it ?'.

'Here, let me show you'. Ethan looked at his Pokedex again. 'What ? It's gone. Google Assistant is gone'.

'Maybe because it appeared two years before its initial release', said Archer.

Yes, I know, Team Rocket always talk about stuff people never understand, it's like they have ESP or something.

All of us stopped when we were in a safe distance from the rock-crash sight.

'Maybe, there are no more...rocks ?'. As soon as Ethan said - rocks, a bigger rock fell from the sky, about four times the size of the previous one, making a clearing in the non-uniform tree-planted environment.

'That was close', said Archer.

'What was that ?', asked Lyra.

'A meteorite maybe ?'. Ethan put his Pokedex back in his pocket.

'Meteorite is of the size of a Diglett. This was way bigger'. I said.

'Meteoroid ?'. Ethan asked.

'No, a meteoroid is one meter wide. It is definitely an Asteroid'. I said.

'Maybe'. Said Ariana.

'Oh, yes. This can't get any cooler'. Ethan jumped as if it was something to celebrate.

'Are you serious, Ethan ?'. Lyra protested. 'We could've been injured, or worse'.

'You don't really have to take it so critically, don't get to see an asteroid everyday'. Ethan irated.

'You don't, but your life is clearly more important'. Lyra shouted.

'Hey ! Hey ! Hey ! Calm down you both', I raged, but they don't seem to care and continued.

'Oh please, rookie, you are a Pokemon Trainer without any knowledge about Pokemon, you shouldn't be here in the first place'. Ethan's face was red in rage.

'Look who's taking, you don't really care about anyone. You left me alone outside Mister Pokemon's house'. Lyra's eyes widened.

I looked behind at Archer and Ariana, they were trying their best to not to get any attention.

Joey shrugged and walked towards Violet City.

I looked back at the WWE (World's Worst Expostulator).

'I can't take it anymore, go Quilava', said Ethan, throwing his Pokeball.

'Go Marill', said Lyra. 'Use water gun'.

'You really wanna do this ? Go Charizard'. I threw Charizard's Pokeball.

Quilava and Marill, both had a change of expression from come at me to I'm innocent.

Marill hopped back to Lyra's shoulder. Quilava was eye to eye with Charizard, he walked sideways and banged his head on the Pokeball that Ethan was holding.

'Seriously, Quilava ? You scared of that ?'. Ethan asked, Quilava banged his head again.

Charizard made an angry face, showing his teeth from the side and growled.

Unfortunately, Charizard's growl was not his main attack so it didn't lower Quilava's attack, but it did make Quilava fumed with horror.

Quilava banged his head simultaneously on the Pokeball till he went inside.

'Great job, do that in the league and we're toast'. Ethan grunted.

'You really need to work on your personality, you don't look like someone who can win the Pokemon League', said Lyra.

'Both, quiet !', I shouted and the air was filled with silence. 'Enough !'.

A white van stopped near the debris. It had a dish on the top and Johto Media Channel printed.

Johto was in the center, big, in red color. And Media Channel was written below in a small font in grey color.

The van also had some phone numbers printed.

A female reporter jumped out of the van with a microphone followed by a cameraman.

The reporter had long dark brown hair tired in a pony, wore a white full sleeved shirt whose sleeves were folded to half. Wore a teal blue sweater vest on the shirt, dark brown jeans, black heels and black reading glasses.

The cameraman wore a Batman costume.

'Haha, look at that guy'. Ethan pointed at the Batman camera guy.

The cameraman looked at Ethan, pissed off.

Lyra forced Ethan's hand down. 'What are you ? Crazy ?'.

Two scientists arrived in a red car, walked out with a box of equipment.

We walked towards the debris. The reporter was practicing her lines for the news while the scientists tried to look for something in the debris.

'Aurora, we won't be able to record this today', said the cameraman.

'We will do it today, I need a promotion, Kevin', said Aurora. 'Why are you in a Batman costume anyways ?'.

'Uh, I had a costume party at my cousin's house', said Kevin.

'Hm, sorry, but this is really important', said Aurora. 'For me ?'.

'Ah, okay, fine', said Kevin.

'This is definitely an asteroid', said one of the Scientists.

'But how did it break ?', asked the other Scientist.

'We will make a report for you, Aurora. It will take a day but I think you can manage to wait', said the Scientist.

'Okay. Kevin, I thing you'll have to go back to your costume party', said Aurora.

'What was the use of coming here ?', asked Kevin.

'Sorry. Hey, for a change, can I come with you for the party as your partner ?', asked Aurora.

'Of course, why not ?', asked Kevin. 'But you'll have to change your clothes for that'.

'I know, I have a Wonder Woman outfit at home', said Aurora. 'We'll have to get it first, then we can go'.

'Okay', said Kevin.

Kevin walked to the van. Aurora looked at us and walked forward.

'Kanto Champion', said Aurora. 'You like people you calling that right ?'.

'Actually no. I want people to recognize me by my name, not my position', I said.

'Haha, okay, Red', said Aurora. 'So, got any Gym Badges from Johto ?'.

'Yes, the Zephyr badge', I said.

'Great, tough challenge. Now, what do you know about Team Rocket ?', asked Aurora.

'What ?', I asked.

'There were two Team Rocket members standing behind you', said Aurora.

If I tell them anything about Rainbow Rocket, they will obviously announce that Giovanni is back or something, maybe just hide the fact that Archer and Ariana we're with us - I thought.

'Uh, they were not Team Rocket members', I said.

Ethan and Lyra stared at my face. Then looked back to see the Executives, only to know they were gone.

'So, why were they dressed like them ?', asked Aurora.

'Uh, um...costume party ?', I said.

'Oh, okay', said Aurora. 'I guess everyone's going there'.

Aurora smiled. 'What are you, ten ?'.

'Yes', I said.

'You still have time, to complete your journey. I also wanted to be a trainer, but I lost in the Pokemon League and quit training, now I work as a reporter', said Aurora. 'That was the biggest mistake of my life, I wish I could change the past and continue to be a trainer'.

'Nobody can change the past, and I know life could be tough at the age of thirty...', I said, interrupted.

'Who said I was thirty ?', asked Aurora.

'What ? You're younger ?', asked Lyra.

'Red, what a shame. Just look at her, she's obviously twenty five', said Ethan. 'You know nothing about women'.

'Hey, do I look that old ?', asked Aurora. 'I am just nineteen'.

'What you're nineteen ?', asked Kevin. 'I thought you were seventeen'.

'What ?', asked Aurora. 'What's your age again ?'.

'Eighteen', said Kevin, sad. 'I am younger than you, unfortunately'.

I giggled.

'Okay, we'll get late for the party', said Kevin. 'Hurry'.

'Yeah, okay', said Aurora.

'My Lapras' name is Aurora, by the way', I said.

'So what ? My car is red', said Aurora, laughing. 'Nice meeting you, Champion'.

Aurora waved at me and I waved back.

The van and the car went towards Violet City.

Lyra and Ethan looked at me. 'Girls like you, dude', said Ethan.

'Are you mad ?', I asked. 'Come on, we need to reach Azalea'.

'So what ? My car is red, haha', said Ethan, trying to sound like Aurora.

'Haha, whatever', I said.

We walked towards Azalea, while Ethan and Lyra laughed.
