Red's POV

'Where were you ?', asked Lyra, angrily. 'Do you know we were looking for you, just to know that you were roaming around like that'.

'You don't have to shout', I said. 'Someone wanted to meet me.....wait, where's Eevee ?'.

'And now you care about Eevee ? Well, you said you didn't want him, so I'm his trainer now', said Lyra, showing me a Pokeball, which I figured was now Eevee's.

'Don't joke, please', I said, walking a few meters away.  

'Hey, what's up with you ? You did wanted the Eevee didn't you ?', asked Lyra.

'Well, yes I did', I said. 'Why didn't you ask me first ?'.

'You didn't tell me that you wanted the Eevee, if you did, I would've given him to you', said Lyra.

'What do I do then ?', I asked.

Bugsy was standing quitely in a distance, he walked forward to us and was in a deep thought.

'Lyra could just trade Eevee with Red, he just has to catch a new Pokemon as I know he wouldn't trade any of his old ones', said Bugsy.

'Excellent idea', said Lyra. 'Now you can have the Eevee'.

'No, no. I want to catch it', I said.

By now you would be thinking that why I don't share the little Eevee secret with them. Simple logic, they won't believe me.

I really had to catch the Eevee myself, because if I don't, I don't know what will happen but it will be not good.

'You want to catch it ?', asked Lyra. She fixed her hair gently.

'Well, that's not happening', said Bugsy.

Lyra and Bugsy started walking away.

'Where are you going ?', I asked, still standing at the spot.

'To the gym', said Lyra. 'Why, you don't wanna participate in the league ?'.

'Cherrygrove doesn't have a gym', I said, irritated. And yes I wanted to challenge a gym leader but my lick wasn't too good.

'Oh yeah ? And how do you know that ?', asked Lyra.

'Ahem, Lyra, he's correct', said Bugsy, correcting her. 'General knowledge'.

'So, now what ?', asked Lyra. 'We just continue ?'.

'First, you figure out a way so that I could catch the Eevee', I said. 'Please'.

'But can't you just trade, it'll be easier', said Bugsy. 'Why do you even want to catch it yourself ?'.

'I have my own reasons, now please', I said.

Bugsy and Lyra both had a confused look and then exchanged it with each other.

'Okay. You know what ? Let's go', I said.

Really, there was no point in arguing, maybe if I could just go with the flow, just maybe, I might be able to catch Eevee in Violet City.

'You know, you're acting weird mate', said Bugsy. 'I didn't expect such immature behaviour from you'.

'Hey, what do you mean ?', I asked.

'You know', said Bugsy, as we progressed.

Lyra was enjoying our conversation so much that she threw her ears between me and the cool Gym Leader.

As we walked through the Route connecting Cherry Grove with Violet, Bugsy observed the trees and looked for something, maybe bugs.

And Lyra was leading us, walking a few meters ahead in a victorious confidence.

I still had no idea about how to get Eevee, the Eevee was mine, well it had to be mine. Obviously.

Suddenly, I heard something, moving through bushes from behind and I looked back.

Then the sound came from somewhere to the left where Bugsy was.

And Bugsy too looked towards from where the sound came from.

Then again, it came from where Lyra was. She stopped and looked around.

'What was that ?', asked Lyra.

'No idea', I said.

Suddenly, a voice was heard. The voice was high pitched and very familiar.

It said ,'Mew'.

No doubt it was a Mew. Finally, after all that time, I got so close to the Mew.

And the Mew flew out of the bushes in a dramatic way. The world seemed to slow down and violin was heard playing Fur Elise, giving an ancient feeling.

I could smell strawberries in a distance.

'Wow, a Mew', said Bugsy.

'I have seen that Pokemon before', said Lyra.

I didn't care about whatever they said, and my reflexes quickly grabbed a Pokeball from the belt and I swung my hand to send a Pokemon.

'Go Charizard', I said, sending out Charizard who stood in front of the floating pink Pokemon.

Charizard roared towards Mew.

'Charizard, use Flamethrower', I said, as Charizard followed my direction.

Suddenly, a very unexpected thing happened. Mew transformed into Charizard.

The Mew-Charizard used Dragon Rage.

'Okay, now it can transformed too ?', asked Lyra.

'Well yes. Mew can transformed into anything it wants, not only a Pokemon. It can transformed into humans too', said Bugsy. 'And it can also make you thing that it's some Pokemon trainer and can even send out Pokemon that are nothing but it's body cells'.

'Wait what ?', asked Lyra.

'Yep, I wish I could see a human Mew', said Bugsy.

'Hey, trying to concentrate', I said. 'Charizard, use Outrage'.

Mew-Charizard was pushed five meters away and crashed into a tree, hence breaking it.

But it managed to get up and flew towards Charizard and used Flamethrower.

'Charizard use Dragon Rage', I said.

The Mew-Charizard fell on the ground. This time, unable to get up.

No was my chance to catch the Mew. I quickly took out a Pokeball. It was smaller than the usual one.

My fingers touched a button and the Pokeball grew in size. I threw the Pokeball on Mew which was still a Charizard.

It went inside. The ball fell on the ground and shook.

First left, then right and then rolled for no reason. And slowed down. And suddenly flashed. The Mew was caught.

My Pokedex beeped.

'New Pokedex entry', said the Pokedex. 'Tap to see'.

I guess it was a new update to the Pokedex. I flipped it open and pressed the red button.

'Most recently caught Pokemon', said Pokedex, and I tapped on the option. 'Ditto, a Transform Pokemon. Ditto rearranges its cell structure to transform itself into other shapes. However, if it tries to transform itself into something by relying on its memory, this Pokémon manages to get details wrong'.

Lyra and Bugsy started laughing and it was really cringy. No wonder it wasn't a Mew, no one can really catch a Mew.

I picked up Ditto's Pokeball and sent Ditto out.

'Ha, that was hilarious. You know, a Ditto can only Transform into a Pokemon it has seen', said Bugsy. 'So that explains why it changed into Charizard and not Dragonite'.

'Wait, say that again', I said.

'That explains why it didn't changed into a Dragonite ?', said Bugsy.

'No, the first one', I said.

'That was very funny ?', said Bugsy.

'No, after that', I said.

'Ditto can only Transform into a Pokemon it has seen', said Bugsy.

'Exactly, that means Ditto has seen Mew somewhere', I said. 'Ditto, where ?'.

I looked at Ditto. Ditto looked here and there and turned into Charizard again after seeing my Charizard.

Ditto gestured to follow and flew up high. I, Lyra and Bugsy climbed Charizard and followed Ditto.

Ditto led us to some cave, from where I could clearly see a city nearby.

I called Charizard back and looked at Ditto. Ditto turned back to it's normal form.

'Where have you seen it ?', asked Lyra.

'Ditto, please stop. We all know it's a joke', said Bugsy.

'You don't wanna come, don't', I said.

Ditto continued inside the cave and I along with Lyra followed him.

Bugsy stood outside in an angry mood for some reason.

What is Bugsy up to ? Why is he not excited to see a real Mew ? We'll eventually know that in sometime.
