So, umm... tell me what the pics below look like:

An espeon, right?

Well... no. As seen in the first pic, this is actually the Dash card from Cardcaptor Sakura, an old anime that came out around the same time Pokémon did. (From what I last remember)

It's not very well known though.

But anyways, the dash looks strikingly similar to an espeon, one of the evolutions for eevee.

To make things even more shocking, Sakura, the name of the main protagonist, is the name required to evolve an eevee into an espeon in Pokémon Go.

So... could the two animes be connected?

It may seem insane, but that's not the only piece of evidence linking the two anime shows.

Fletchinder looks similar to a bird seen in Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle's opening, a show featuring the same characters in a different storyline.

Well, of course they're not exactly the same, but still...

Anyways, need more evidence? Sakura and Tomoyo, two characters from the original, actually made an appearance in a Pokémon Center in the anime!

You could even see Ash in the background...

And that's not all, even the concept of these two shows are similar in some ways, with Cardcaptor Sakura catching Clow cards and Pokémon catching... well... Pokémon. These captured creatures are also used in combat and both protagonists have their rivals.

And of course, there's type effectiveness to a certain extent.

That being said, the shows themselves are very different... no joke.

Honestly, I could find even more similarities between these two shows. However, I don't wanna spoil this anime for you guys (even though you're probably not watching it) and thus, wouldn't post them here unless you guys request for it.

By the way, if you guys want to watch it, I'll suggest that you guys watch the Japanese version with subtitles on Facebook as the English version is very, very different from the original.

Besides, the Japanese version is 100 times better.
