Shella: *carrying some boxes*

Kate: Thanks for the help Shella, my brother is so lazy so I had to do this myself.

Shella: Rrrrr oof! (No problem!)

Shella and Kate had finished carrying all if the boxes into the food supplies shed, setting the last box down in it's rightful place, Kate just ruffled Shella's poffy fur.

Kyle (my brother): Come on Kate, mum and Ruby need help with the laundry.

Kate: *sighs* Thanks again Shella *smiles*

Kate walked off to meet her brother at the backdoor, starting to argue a bit with him about how lazy he Is, Shella playfully rolled her eyes and walked off to see anyone she could talk too.

Shella: *hums*

Havoc: Come on Rocko, you two would make a purrfect couple, absolutely ameowsing!

Rocko: Shut up Havoc or I'll send you crashing half way across this ranch!

Shella: Rocko? Havoc? What are you guys taking about?

Havoc: *smirks* Oh nothing....except that you and Ro-

Rocko: *covers Havoc's mouth* Nothing of your concern Little Midday!

Shella: I'm not little! Stop going on about my size Rocko! *puffs out cheeks*

Rocko: *Blushes a bit* It's only a nickname, calm down Little Midday.

Shella: Stooooooop

Havoc: *smirks* So....when are you two getting together?

Rocko: *growls and uses Rock Tomb on Havoc*

Havoc: *sent flying* I WAS ONLY ASKINGGGgggg!

Rocko: *sighs* When will he learn?

Shella: Probably never.

Rocko: Yep, anyway what do you want?

Shella: Mhm? Oh I was just wondering if you can finally show where I'm going to live here on the ranch, Kate said this morning that she decided where I can live and told you!

Rocko: *Blushes* Oh! Well....

Shella: Well what?

Rocko: Well....you'll be living in my cave with me.....

Shella: *Blushes a bit* What?

Rocko: You heard what I said Little Midday, now come on.

Shella: O-Okay!

Rocko and Shella travelled through the Ranch Woods until they come across Rocko's cave, which was by the border of the Forest Deep.

Rocko: And here we are.

Shella: Why is it on the edge of the Forest Deep?

Rocko: Because no one really comes here except for Victoria, Luna, Stripy and Havoc to visit their 'friends'.

Rocko used air quotes around 'friends', Shella just rolled her eyes in response. They walked into their cave, Rocko rested on a rock high up while Shella rested on a rock below him. She closed her eyes and fell into a blissful sleep.

*Time skip*

Shella woke to muffled laughter, her ears perked up instantly at the noise, she looked where the noise was coming from to see Rocko....reading?

Shella: Rocko? What are you doing?

He fumbled with the book in his paws and tried to hide it behind his back.

Rocko: Nothing!

Shella: *smirks* Rocko are you reading?!

Shella jumped up to the rock he resided on and tried to snatch the book from his paws.

Both tripped over with Shella landing on top of Rocko, she snatched the book and opened it, while readying it on Rocko's face.

Shella: S-Syk Barivyr?

Rocko sat up, the book fell off his face, Shella grabbed it and started to inspect it, trying to pronounce different words.

Rocko: Shella....do you know how to read?

Shella: W-Well I....

Rocko: Shell-

Shella: No, in my old pack, they didn't teach us to read because reading is weak...

Rocko: Reading isn't weak, with reading you can read signs that can help you with directions and you can read books, you see Spectra reading books and she's no where near weak, same with me.

Shella: W-Well....*mumbles* can you teach me?

Rocko: You want me to teach you?

Shella: *Nods*

Rocko shifted their position, Shella was sitting while he had his arms and legs wrapped around her, the book in his paws and head over her first sholder to see the book. It was like he was hugging her from behind.

Rocko: Lets start with the title.

Shella: O-Okay *blushing*

Rocko: Lets begin.

Shella: *Follows words* S-Syk?

Rocko: No, close though, it's pronounced S-k-y Sky.

Shella: S-k-y Sky!

Rocko: That's right! *smiles a little*

Shella: *giggles* B-r-v-i-a-r-y?

Rocko: Close B-r-a-v-i-a-r-y

Shella: B-r-a-v-i-a-r-y Braviary!

Rocko: Correct Shella!

Shella: *Giggles*

Rocko: *Blushes* Shall we read the story?

Shella: Okay!

Shella and Rocko continued to read through the book, Rocko helping with any words she was stuck on.

After about 3 hours of reading, both wolf Pokemon got drowsy, Shella rested and drifted off to sleep.

Rocko was too tired to care and crawled next to her, bringing her into a warm embrace.

Rocko: Rest easy Little Midday....

With that, Rocko drifted off into a dreamful slumber with a smile on his face.

For once, it wasn't a nightmare but a dream, a dream about her.

I'm sorry if this took day too long, I write these chapters in my note book at school before writing it up on here, I've been very busy at school so I had less time to write.

But it's out now and I hope you enjoyed the chapter!
