After the events on Little Garden, Luffy was looking over her new crops with Usopp.

"I'm still amazed how these grow so quickly. It can be able to feed my village for a year." Usopp said.

"Thanks Usopp."

But then they heard Vivi's panicking voice.

Nami had fallen ill.

Not only that, her fever was getting high, at a life-threatening level.

So the Straw-Hat Pirates are in a race against time to find a doctor that will cure Nami.

While Zoro, Sanji, and Usopp are on the lookout for an island Luffy, Eevee, Vivi, and Carue are in the Women's Quarter taking care for Nami.

Vivi had a worried expression on her face, watching Nami sweating and panting, and her fever was getting higher. If it kept this up like this, Nami would surely die.

"I just hope we get there soon." Vivi said

"You're worrying too much," said Luffy, causing Vivi to turn her head to face her with a surprised face, and the raven continued.

"Nami may not have devil fruit powers like me or super strength like Zoro or Sanji, but Nami's strong in her own way, she is the most skilled Navigator, and she can send a full-grown man to sky high with one punch. It will take more than a sickness to take her down." She grinned.

Vivi blinked, and she nodded. Her old friend always knew what to say in these situations.

"Yeah, you're right, Nami is strong I believe she'll make it."

"I'll go on the lookout with the others. Are you okay with that?"

"Not at all, I'll stay here"

"Quack," Carue quacked, saying he'll help too, and Vivi giggled.

"And Carue too" she said, and Luffy giggled as well, she waved then and left to the main deck.

On the main deck, Luffy, Eevee, Zoro, Usopp, Sanji, and the others are trying to figure out on the what the hell just happened before they were surrounded by dozens of men wearing winter coat pointing their guns at them. They don't have time for this. They need to get rid of them so they can get back on the island searching.

Just as things couldn't get any weirder, an overweight man with an iron jaw is standing on the railing, taking a bite of his meat from his knife like a barbarian.

"Are you lowlifes really Pirates? There's only about five of you; I bet they're weak" said the obese man and then to everyone shock and disgust the fat man had eaten the meat and knife all at once, and that just plain revolting, once the fat man swallowed his meal, he asked.

"Might as well ask then. I demand to see your Captain now"

"I'm the Captain of this ship. Monkey D. Luffy." The rubber woman said as the overweight man took notice of her. His iron jaw dropped, and two of his eyes popped out of his socket and turned into hearts.

Luffy became disturbed by this as Eevee growled.

"What the hell are you idiots doing? Why are you pointing your guns on a lady?" the men that surrounded the she-captain were unsure of how to answer him back.

"Don't stand there like statues; take out your guns now!"

"Yes, Captain!" they chorused and point away their guns, the fat man jumped off the railing, walked up to her with suave smirk and combing his hair with his hand.

"Well, hello beautiful lady," the fat man said as he tried to...impress Luffy? Is that what he was trying to do? Because it was not working. God she wanted to throw up.

"Allow me to introduce myself I'm Wapol, Captain of the Wapol Pirates, allow me to make up from my men's stupidity. Would you like to be my Queen?"

"EEEEEHHHHHHHH!" the whole Crew screamed, shaking the Merry with it.

"WHAT IS HE SAYING!?" Usopp and Zoro yelled as their jaws dropped to the ground. However, the latter had gotten his swords ready.

" I'LL ROAST YOU ALIVE!" said Sanji as his the flame start to explode and swirls around him angrily.

Then all of a sudden, it became deadly cold, and I don't mean the cold winter weather, it's like the chill of death when the grim reaper comes to take someone's soul. Zoro, Sanji, and Usopp are all tensed, not out of fear but because of the way their Captain is heavily silent about all this. The others knew what was going to happen, so they backed off.

Luffy had a dark aura around her, and without warning.....

"GUM-GUM RIFLE!" She yelled, sending Wapol off the ship and somewhere in the distance.

"Wapol!" The soldiers yelled. 

Then Luffy gave them all the famous Phantomhive glare, making some of them wet their pants.

"GET LOST."

That was all it took to get them scrambling to go get their leader.

Eevee got Luffy to cool down by asking for pets. 

"Uh, Luffy?" Usopp asked, only to receive the same glare.

"I DON'T want to hear a word of what happened. Capiche?" 

"Yes ma'am."

Soon, the Straw-Hat Pirates finally found Drum Island; the entire landscape is covered in snow, and mountains shaped like drums got the name of this island.

But as they were about to head for shore, suddenly, they were surrounded by people pointing their guns at them. they try to reason with them that they mean no harm and they are here to find a doctor for their friend, but none of them believe them.

They were running out of ideas when they saw and gasped to see Vivi bowed down on the floor and begging them to believe what we say is the truth. Even Luffy bowed down, asking for help.

The leader of the group stood on the front line and watched as the two begged, and he was convinced that they were telling the truth and let them in.

"Zoro, can you stay and guard the ship? In case that hippo comes around here?" Luffy asked.

"Sure, ill need to do some training anyway." Zoro shrugs as Carue opts to stay, too.

Dalton, the leader of the village Bighorn, welcomed them to his house and showed them where his bed was. They laid Nami on his bed to rest, but her fever was getting worse every minute. Dalton had never seen this kind of fever before, but he could tell it was fatal. Vivi asked him to where they can find a doctor and when Dalton answered that weird them out, he told them that this country has only one doctor, and she's called a witch who is said to be one hundred and forty years old.

"Hundred and forty years old?!" Usopp exclaimed.

"A country with only one doctor! What kind of country is this anyway?" Sanji asked.

"We can ask the questions later; right now, Nami is getting sicker and sicker, so please tell us where she is?" Luffy asked in a hurry because she didn't know how long Nami could take much more of this. Dalton looked into her eyes and saw there was both determination and a bit of worry in them, unlike he had seen from a Pirate, but...different. He nodded to her and explained.

"Do you see the mountains outside that window?"

"Yeah, they're freakin' huge," Sanji replied as he turned to see through the window, a mountain shaped like a drum seemed to be the tallest mountain he's ever seen.

"Those mountains are Drum Rockies; you can see a castle atop the peak of the tallest, central mountain. That is where the witch, the only doctor in our country, Dr. Kureha, lives in the castle now."

"What?!" Sanji is baffled.

"Of all the places, why does she live all the way up there? Fine, just call her to come down there, this is an emergency" said Vivi.

"I'm afraid there is no way of contacting her," Dalton stated.

"What?!" they yelled all together.

"But then what happen when the people get injured or sick?" Usopp asked.

"She comes down the mountain of her own free will; she searches for patients, treats them...and then takes whatever she wants from their homes as payment before leaving again," spoke Dalton.

"Sounds like one mean old hag." Usopp commented.

"She sounds more like a Pirate." Luffy said.
"But, how does such she get down from that mountain?" She asked.

"I heard a rumor from people a rather strange rumor...several witnesses that they saw, on a moonlit night, she takes to the sky in a sleigh and rides down; that is one of the reasons they called her a witch...they also say a strange creature comes with her, the likes they which they've never seen...even though she is the only doctor this country have, but she is not very social to people, so I'm afraid you have to wait till she comes down from that mountain tomorrow" Dalton explained, which the crew is not quite happy to hear.

Nami can't wait tomorrow; she needs to see a doctor now before it's too late.

"Then I will climb up to the mountain and take Nami to get to the witch," Luffy said.

"WHAT!" that shocked his nakama while Dalton was startled by the girl.

"Have you lost your mind, Luffy?! The minute Nami walk out of that door she'll die!" said Usopp.

"But staying and waiting for a doctor to show up, Nami will die either way" Luffy protested, then Vivi spoke.

"That may be...but look at that mountain and the weather, Nami will not take this much stress, this is a huge risk, we're talking about someone's life, and you can't risk someone's life like that"

"WE'RE NOT RISKING HER LIFE!" Luffy shouted, and the whole house is silent. "Besides Nami is our navigator and she got us this far on the Grand Line without getting us lost. We can't lose her." Luffy agreed.

Vivi and even Dalton was surprised by how Luffy was determined to help Nami.

It didn't take long for Sanji and Usopp to agree with them that they needed Nami, and she had to get better.

"Hey, can you tell us which path would we take?" Luffy asked to Dalton, whom he admired the their big hearts.

"If you take path through the forest it'll lead you straight to Drum Rockies but you need to watch out for Lapins"

"Lapins?" Vivi titled her head in confusion.

"They are big, white, carnivorous and intelligent snow rabbits" said Dalton which made everyone to look at him skeptically

"Don't worry we'll be careful, Sanji!" Sanji looked up when Luffy called him.

"You'll be coming with me and Eevee; Vivi, Usopp, you guys stay here just in case the witch happens to come by here. You can tell her," she said, and they nodded.

"Good thing I brought the right Pokémon for this trip. Stoutland, Arcanine, Wyrdeer, time for action!" the She-captain shouted as her Arcanine, Wyrdeer, and Stoutland appeared.

Dalton was surprised as three creatures appeared.

"What are these? I've never seen anything like them."

"They're Pokémon, our captain is a beast master." Usopp said.

Cue Sparks.

"Arcanine, the Legendary Pokémon
ARCANINE is known for its high speed. It is said to be capable of running over 6,200 miles in a single day and night. The fire that blazes wildly within this POKéMON's body is its source of power.

Wyrdeer the Big Horn Pokémon
The black orbs shine with an uncanny light when the Pokémon is erecting invisible barriers. The fur shed from its beard retains heat well and is a highly useful material for winter clothing.

Stoutland the Big Hearted Pokémon
It rescues people stranded by blizzards in the mountains. Its shaggy fur shields it from the cold."

"Amazing." Dalton gasped as Sanji, Eevee, Nami, and Luffy mounted up.

"Good, next stop to Drum Rockies!" Luffy shouted, and they were off.

Although they had some trouble with some Lapins and Wapol again, the small group fended them off, and once they got to the Rockies, Luffy had Articuno take them up. A normal bird would not have been able to reach the top, but Articuno, being a bird of Ice had no problem.

An old woman was reading when her student caught a strange scent. "Doctorine. People are here, and some strange scents I've never come across before."

"Hm? They traveled up to the Rockies?"

The two went outside to see a giant bird that looked to be made of ice and 4 passengers.

"Are you the doctor of the country?" The raven asked.

"Yes."

"We need you to look at our friend. She needs help. Bad." The girl got Nami over.

Doctorine took a good look and understood. It was serious.

"Please. She's our nakama." Luffy said as she shivered before almost collapsing.

But someone caught her. And a small voice came up.

"We'll help her."
