While Luffy thought she could convince Sanji, he was a stubborn cook, and she saw that he had a look of determination.

And although he and The head chef Zeff fought like cats and dogs, she could tell there was some kind of bond between them.

"Sanji has been a part of this restaurant a long time, has he?" Luffy asked Crane, one of the chefs who was on break. He was surprised by the young girl's appearance but realized that she was the she-pirate who wanted Sanji to join her. However, Sanji kept refusing, which baffled him. Crane thought that the perv would jump at the chance to be with this girl.

"Yeah, the kid has been working here since Zeff opened it. And that was over 10 years ago. Though the rest of us don't know how they met or anything. But we do know Zeff used to be a pirate."

"Really?"

"Damn straight! He was known as Red-Shoes Zeff, a unique captain-cook for his old crew. They say his leg strength was so strong he could smash bedrock and leave footprints in steel. He got his name from his enemies' blood dyeing his shoes. But somehow he lost one of his legs, but he doesn't talk about it. Neither does Sanji."

That told Luffy something happened that created a bond between the two.

However, she would soon learn as she heard a scream from a guest who saw something frightening.

It was a large galleon pirate ship.

Don Krieg's pirate ship.

But as it was close enough, the galleon looked like it barely survived a storm.

And things would go from bad to worse as she watched a large imposing man looking weak, barely able to walk as Gin was helping him inside.

Luffy had overheard of how Krieg gained his infamy and how he used dirty tricks to thrive on the ocean. Then how did that large ship get destroyed?

Then without warning, Krieg stand up from bowing and strikes Sanji on his neck and force him to the ground with a crash.

"S...SANJI!" Crane screamed for his beaten friend as a female customer screamed, and all the customers fled to the exit away from the blood-thirsty Krieg. Gin watched Sanji on the floor bringing new found guilt and shame to see his savior was ruthlessly flattened by his Captain, his body shook wildly; it wasn't supposed to happen like this!

"This is not we agreed on...I brought you here under your condition that you won't harm this place or...hurt the man who SAVED US!" Gin shouted at his superior, and then Krieg grabbed Gin's shoulder.

"That was delicious; I feel alive again!" said Krieg and then he broke his First Mate's arm making Gin scream in pain, as the latter looked ready to kill.

"This is a nice ship. I think I will take it." Krieg said as Luffy glared at the man, Not liking him already.

"So...That's your plan all along," said Sanji, and right on cue Patty was also awake and he begins to tremble when his eyes landed on Krieg.

"As you can see my ship is a wreck, naturally, I need a nice new one so your ship is now my ship so I suggest you should pack your things and leave." Krieg stated very clearly.

"Wha...What!?" Crane murmured. Then Krieg pointed his thumb to where his ruined ship docked and said.

"There are about hundred men left onboard on my ship, and they're on the brink of starvation. Many are seriously wounded or dying already. Prepare food and water for every last one of them immediately!"

"What! You're telling us to feed our executioners?! I refuse!" Crane spat making Krieg furious.

"I wasn't asking you, now make no mistake, you wretched Cook. I'm not placing you an order...I'm giving you an order, DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR DON'T DEFY ME!" his scream are like rumbling thunder that sends many Cooks to judder like scared little children. They're in deep shit now. Sanji narrowed his eye at Krieg when he heard Gin call out to him.

"Sanji" Sanji turn to see Gin's head bow down in shame refuse to look at him.

"S-Sanji I'm...I'm sorry I...didn't mean for this to happen" Sanji can sense in his voice that he's truly guilty of all of this then he Patty yelling at him, pointing his accusing finger at him.

"THIS IS YOUR ENTIRE FAULT! IF YOU HADN'T FED HIM NONE OF THIS WOULD'VE HAPPENED, YOU STUPID BASTARD"

After much thought Sanji slowly stood up, brushing invisible dusts off of his suit and then walks away to the swirling staircase when Patty stopped him by saying.

"Hey! Where'd you think you're going?" Sanji stood silent for a moment till he turns to side glance at Patty as he wipes the trail of blood on his side of his lip.

"To the kitchen, of course...it looks like I'll be cooking hundred more meals today" After he emitted one sentence all the Cook were taken by surprise even Luffy and Gin were all shocked to hear.

"WHAT!? ARE YOU CRAZY?!" all the Cooks yelled all together while Krieg smirked as if he won the battle.

"Good, hop to it" he commanded.

Before Sanji can take a step when he's suddenly all the Cooks surround him, each pointing their weapons at him and blocking him from going anywhere.

"Tell us the truth Sanji, are you his spy or something?" one of the Cook said.

"We can't let you go through that kitchen; we grew tired of your acting insane" Sanji can see the look of doubt written on their forehead clear as day, and it surprises him to see them so hostile against him, he guessed he can't really blame them for acting that way. The Chefs kept their eyes stuck at Sanji till they saw Sanji spread his arms wide open and said.

"Go right ahead, stop me!" he said so bluntly and the Chefs were flabbergasted.

"I know...that Don Krieg is terrible, ruthless man but...that doesn't matter to me. It doesn't matter after we feed all these men who know what's going to happen. I'm just a simple Cook no more no less if someone going hungry is my duty to feed them that's all I know...so what'd you say? That I'm wrong" he said coolly then he feels throbbing pain on his head as if he got hit by anvil and fell with a thud, the Chefs gasped when they found out it was Patty who hit Sanji.

"Sanji, I know you feed the people I chase off. Maybe you are right to do that sometimes, but I can't sit idly by and let them raid our ship, we'll protect this Restaurant." said Patty pointing accusingly at Sanji and at the same time he pulled out lobster-shaped bazooka from under the staircase that has a secret door.

"Luckily, Don Krieg is just one man army, so we always fully prepared to defend this Restaurant to any Pirate even Krieg" he said confidently as he is pointing his bazooka at Krieg.

"I hope you have room for dessert because I have a secret recipe, and it's to DIE FOR! MEATBALL OF DOOM!" with that said Patty pulled the trigger and the blazing cannonball bang into Krieg with a powerful explosion; everyone shielded their eyes from the blast till everything is covered in smoke and Patty grinned, obviously won.

"I might've broken the door I just hoped Head-Chef Zeff won't yell at me this time."

"Don't worry about it though, Zeff might go easy on you since you saved the Restaurant, and all." his buddy Crane said but Luffy had a feeling he was still alive. And she was right unfortunately when they heard a familiar voice in the smoke.

"That dessert was awful, the worse I ever had!" To everyone's shock and horror; Krieg removed his fur coat to reveal his gold-painted steel armor that must've protected him from the cannon ball but there's more, Krieg unveil his array of guns under his armor and two pistols on each hand.

"NOW DIE!" before the Chefs can scream or have the chance to run away, Krieg pulled all the triggers and thousands of bullets have been unleashed and about to make harm on the Chefs and Sanji, but they are all saved surprisingly by a giant translucent pink wall had before the bullets could pierce them.

Don Krieg's face is stoic, but he is quite surprised when the barrier just appeared from the ground, the Chefs and Sanji all had shocked and a bit of fear to see it defended them from the bullets but the question is how? They soon got their answer when standing before them was the female pirate, Luffy and a strange humanoid creature that looked to be made of cream surprising the chefs and Zeff.

Luffy and Alcrieme jumped down from the stairs, before Krieg pull the trigger and shielded them with a strong barrier between Krieg and the Chefs. Alcrieme was standing in front of Luffy with Eevee, Absol, and Intelleon who came out. She and Krieg are now staring at each other instantly till Krieg spoke.

"I must say that some power you got there, little girl..... that creature, did it eat a devil fruit, or is it from yours?" 

"It's Alcremie's own power, but it's no devil fruit. She was born with it." Luffy frowned as her Pokemon stood their ground.

"I see....they might be from the Grand Line...if she could tame them..." he whispered to himself, then Krieg's face twisted as a crazed lunatic.

"I think I'll be taking you with me. I'll be even more powerful with you as my weapon," he said with bold cockiness, and Luffy's eyes glared deadly at the man as her Pokemon growled. The air thickens as they both proceed to stare at each other when suddenly, the silence breaks when Head-Chef Zeff appears next to Luffy and drops a large sack in front of Krieg.

"There's a hundred meals, now take it to your men." Zeff exclaimed which leaves his chefs shocked again that he did the exact same thing as Sanji.

"No! Head-Chef Zeff!" they protest, not liking the idea to see Krieg's men will come back to life after they're fed. While anyone protesting Zeff they didn't realize the shocked look on Krieg's face as if he's seen a ghost.

"Wait...Zeff as in...Red-Foot Zeff!" his tone sound shaky.

"Master Zeff, why are you giving those foods to them!? If they regain their strength, they'll take our ship for sure!" one of the Chefs exclaimed, and Zeff spoke while he stares right in Krieg's eyes.

"That may be true...if they have the will to fight." he said while everyone is confused, but Zeff wasn't done, he spoke again and this time to Krieg.

"Isn't that right? Mr. couldn't. Get. Through. The. Grand Line?" Zeff taunted Krieg.

"What?" Luffy said astonished.

"N-No way!"

"So the great Don Krieg was defeated!" the Chefs were baffled to hear that Ruler of East Blue couldn't make it to the Grand Line despite his numbers of fleet and power.

"Whoa! Not even could he do it...a great Pirate with fifty ships couldn't sail through the Grand Line?!" said Crane.

"It is you...you're Red-Foot Zeff" Krieg said in shock.

As Luffy watched the exchange between the two, she heard Krieg admit that he lacked the knowledge of the Grand Line, and that Zeff possessed a Log Book, which was the testament to the men that he sail with in the Grand Line. Krieg planned to use that Log Book, claiming it will help lead him to the legendary One Piece.

Luffy can't help but laugh.

"What's so funny, brat?" Krieg demanded.

"That you think that a single Log Book could simply guide you to the legendary treasure. The Grand Line is more complicated than that.........The islands in the Grand Line are said to be rich with minerals. . .causing abnormal magnetic fields a long the entire line, a normal compass would be useless. In addition, the wind and currents are completely unstable........tell me....did you try to go through Reverse Mountain or attempt to cross the Calm Belt?" Luffy asked.

"Hmph, we crossed the Calm Belt, but he had to face Sea Kings." Krieg said as Gin flinched.

"Then you are a moron. The Calm Belt is their breeding grounds. And the danger is not counting the Seven Warlords. Or the Seven government-recognized Pirate lords." Luffy said getting everyone's attention.

"What? The government supports pirates?" One chef whispers.

" I thought the government doesn't support Pirates." Another said.

"Under normal conditions yes. Although they work for the World Government, the Warlords themselves typically don't care about nor respect the Government. It's just a beneficial thing. They work with the government for protection." Luffy explained. "In turn, they have to provide two things, overwhelming strength and great infamy. They go around beating up other Pirates one by one and that's why the government supports them. The idea is to have them serve as a threat to other Pirates of the world. They may be called government dogs, but their strength is no joke.

First there's Crocodile, considered a hero over in Alabasta, said to have eaten one of the Devil Fruits, and is known for his cunning guile

Then there's the greatest swordsman the world, 'Hawkeyes' Mihawk, said to be rivaled by one of the Yonko, Red-Haired Shanks

The Navy's living weapon, a cyborg, The Tyrant, Bartholomew Kuma

A captain of the Fishman Pirates and a master of the Fishman karate, Jimbei, the 1st Son of the Sea

The master of Thriller Bark, Gecko Moriah

The only female member and the reigning Sovereign of Amazon Lily, the Pirate Empress, Boa Hancock

Finally, the evil Charisma and king of Dressrosa, the Heavenly Demon, Donquixote Doflamingo

Together, those seven people make up the Seven Warlords of the Sea. Sorry, but against them you wouldn't stand a chance." Luffy summarized. "And before you say anything, I won't be surrendering to you." 

After an intense staredown, Krieg decided to go and feed his men and gave one last warning to the chefs.
