"C'mon, Cindy!" I cry to my small, fire-type Pokémon, " ready for a day of exploring?"

     "Cyn-Qui!!" He cried, climbing atop my shoulder.

    I laughed ,"I'll take that as a yes," I scratched his head affectionately.

   I walked out of Cherrygrove City, grinning ear to ear. My mother wouldn't let me explore, but she finally agreed to let me go into Ilex Forest for the first time! I glanced at the entrance and took a deep breath. Sunlight was shining through the tall trees, the warmth glistening my partner and I. 

   I was ready.

   I began to take a step, when I saw a blur of blue, seeing a small, feline Pokémon flying at lightning speed right towards me. It seemed to be holding an important looking orb in its paws, which shone like the moon. It's eyes widened even larger when it saw me standing there- but it was far too late to halt- BANG!

  " Are you awake yet? I'm sorry!" Squealed a high pitched, unfamiliar voice. I then heard my name called from a different voice.

  "Are you alright?" This voice I had never heard, but seemed somehow familiar in the slightest bit.

  "Ugh. . ."  I moaned, looking up to see only a blur of green, along with two figures in front of me.

  " I'm SuperElectro_Kami , I didn't mean to fly into you! Or- err- well. . ." Exclaimed the first voice again, before trailing off, sounding rather embarrassed.

"What- what do you mean?" Everything was beginning to come into focus, and seemed much larger than before. I sat up, having one question.

  "Wait. . . How are Pokémon speaking?"
