Spiceshipping~His life matters to me

Hey guys! FYI, this oneshot is definitely rated R. I've been influenced by the presidential outcome, the news, #blacklivesmatter, & etc. I thought about dedicating a oneshot relating to it. A lot of hate has been spread around, and I think it's DISRESPECTFUL, it's almost embarrassing to live in a country where some people can't accept others because of their faith/color/race. Please, if you are offended or touchy on this topic, you don't have to read it ❤️️

It was around eleven at night, and a well-known trainer in the Alola region was walking back after training for quite some while after dinner. After all, he was currently the only one to use a z-ring.

Kiawe looked and admired the beautiful diamond-like endless ocean, the gentle tides sweeping the edges of the beaches silky golden-tanned sand. The moons light reflected off of the ocean almost like gazing into a mirror because of how gentle the night was.

Kiawe's footsteps were the only sound that was heard at the moment, with a few other people wandering about. It was normal for a few people anyways, Alola was a region that got tons of sunlight, so it was always hot. They rarely got any snow around the place he lived in, so the Christmas lights made the streets glow even more from the beautiful starts glistening in the navy blue sky.

Currently, he was on the phone with a girl he couldn't stop talking to, his desirable feelings for her couldn't be helped. He wasn't surprised that she'd be up at this hour, but he was somewhat shocked that she'd want to call him.

"..Mallow? I'm not surprised you're up, but calling me at this time? That's new....oh yeah, My training went a little bit longer than I expected....hey, hey! Oh, so you think YOU'RE having a better time instead of me?.....Oh whatever,....yeah I'll come over, be there in a bit-"

"Hey, black boy! You shouldn't be walkin' around at this time of night with no shirt on!"

"..Kiawe, what was that?.."

Kiawe turned around to glare at two white male teenagers dressed in the Skull Organization outfits. Of course it was these idiots again.

"Just a couple of fags, that's all. Hold on." Kiawe said through his iPhone, watching the two males come up to him. He shoved his phone in his pocket as the two finally approached him from crossing the streets.

"Hey, nigger! At least put on white clothes so we know you're our fucking slave, you aren't privileged to walk around showing trash skin as dark as that!" The taller brunette said, shoving Kiawe a little bit. The taller brunette was just about his own height, the shorter blonde was about two inches shorter.

"We live in the twenty first century, not the eighteenth, you saltine crackers" Kiawe spat, squaring up to the two teenagers that were around his age.

"What'd you say, you stupid black-ass nigger?!?" The blonde yelled, getting up in his personal space. Kiawe shoved him away, causing him to stumble.

"Trump's president of the Sinnoh region, so that means we white people are superior once again, you're a fucking slave! You shouldn't even be allowed to walk in the streets with no shirt on! You're a DISGRACE to our region!" The blonde yelled, scuffling back into his scrawny feet. Kiawe tightened his fists and clenched his jaw together, his jawline definition exposed even more.

"You should be working on a cotton field for our clothes instead of walking around our region, showing your cursed nature! Niggers these days don't know SHIT! Put a shirt on before the cops catch ya runnin' away cause your scared!" The taller brunette spat, spitting in Kiawe's face.

"You saltine crackers, you were born in the wrong century, fucking faggots. It's not my fault I was born a color of your shade you're scared of." Kiawe gritted out, absolutely disgusted by the viewpoints these two vermin saw in life.

The blonde boy slapped Kiawe across the face. "Now I'm gonna have to wash my hand since I touched yo-" Kiawe punched the teenager right in the face, making blood ooze out of his nose, dripping down his face onto his clothes and the ground.

"OW!! You son of a BITCH! You can't fucking-!"

'Cl-click'

A metal weapon was pressed again Kiawe's ribcage towards the left. "If you ever fucking dare to say that shit again, you disgusting rotten nigger dog, I will shoot you." Kiawe glared right into the brown eyes of the brunette that had his gun right on him. He couldn't even see a hint of humanity, just rage, destruction, hate, evil.

"Hehehee, now you're like a scared nigger like the rest. Look who's the big talker now!" The blonde laughed, grabbing and pointing his own gun at Kiawe's leg. Kiawe mentally rolled his eyes, obviously the cracker didn't know where to point a gun to kill someone.

The brunette smirked, shoving the gun more into his rib cage, the pressure now starting to hurt. "You scared I'm gonna steal your girl cause I'm white? I'm sure she'd leave you like leaving dog shit in the barn field."

'He's DONE.'

Before Kiawe could think of anything else, the only sound he heard was the sound that pierced his ears, wanting them to bleed.

'BANG'

A sudden immense pain shot through his whole body, immediately grabbing onto the part of his rib cage that was pierced by the bullet. Hot blood gushed out of his body, slipping between his fingers as the uncontrollable pain began to only get worse.

"AHHH!!!" Kiawe yelled, his voice crackling, his yell sliced through the silent night like a knife, disturbing it.

'BANG!'

Another sudden shock of pain hit his right leg, the shocks running through his body uncontrollably. He slowly tumbled to the ground, trying to cover the bloody wounds from bleeding more than they were.

"I can't..I can't see..." Kiawe muttered, his vision began to immensely blur as he could only watch the two figures running away from the scene. He heard the handful of people that had been wandering around scream in terror, now knowing what to do.

"Kiawe!! What, w-where are y-you?!? KIAWE!!"

Kiawe heard the voice, he knew what that voice was, he knew who it was, where was she?!-

His body started to feel hot, his head already feeling lightheaded. Sweat began to appear on his skin as he gritted between his teeth loudly, the pain unbearable. Falling to his knees, he laid his head on the ground, desperately holding his stomach from the pain.

Blood was everywhere.

Red had spilled. That's all he could see.

"Someone call nine-one-one!!!" A woman shrieked, running over to the teenager screaming between his teeth, a sight she'd never seen before. The woman began to have tears running down her face as she knelt down to Kiawe, who couldn't stop yelling in a broken voice, now knowing what else to do.

"NnngaaAAHH!!" Kiawe yelled, hissing between his teeth in agony, pain, hatred. The tender, singing wounds and his body throbbed with every heartbeat, feeling nothing less than desolation and torture.

He could faintly hear the echoes of sirens coming, more screaming of citizens that didn't need to see the blood shed, the pounding pain that stung every part of his body. His breathing was off, he felt like he was suffocating from breathing so hard.

His eyesight began to go black as he heard an all-too-familiar voice that he could make out like no other, their footsteps coming closer to his body.

"KIAWE!!!"

"...Mal...lo-" Kiawe barely gasped, before passing out cold.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*With Mallow*
She was extremely BORED.
She had watched her favorite shows on Netflix, scrolled through her social media, ate tons of food, all the things she'd normally do. She scrolled through all the memes in iFunny, what else was she supposed to do?
To be honest, she wasn't feeling like hanging out with Lana, Lillie and Sophocles. They did invite her to have a sleepover, but she just had one with them last night. It's not like she didn't like them, she just wanted to hang out with some guy in particular.
"Would he be up at this time of night? I'll just go for it." Mallow thought as she reached for her iPhone, unlocking it and scrolled through the contacts, finding the specific name she wanted. She tapped on his contact and almost pressed the call button, but held back, second guessing herself.
Was it weird? They've talked to each other at this time of night PLENTY of times, but usually it was face to face. Her thumb hovered over the screen, debating on a simple choice.
She took a deep breath and pressed it, quickly lifting her phone to her ear. Her heartbeat began to quickly race, feeling like it was going to pop out of her chest.
'R-r-r-ring! R-r-r-ring!'
"Keep calm, keep calm, keep calm, keep calm, it's only him! Ya know, oh what DO I know?!?" Mallow whined, setting her phone on her desk as she laid her head right next to it, sloping in her chair. She puckered her lips for a second until she heard his voice come through the phone.
"Mallow? I'm not surprised you're up, but calling me at this time? That's new."
"Oh SHUSH IT!! You're still up too, ya know. Why're you up so late, don't you need to get your morning workout in tomorrow?" Mallow laughed, smiling widely at hearing his soothing but deep voice. Her face was dusted pink on the apples of her cheeks.
"Oh yeah, my training went a little longer than I had expected."
"I'm sure it did. Too bad cause my night's way more lit than yours!" Mallow said as she laughed, playfully rolling her eyes as she heard him chuckle.
"hey, hey! Oh, so you think YOU'RE having a better time instead of me?"
"Um, OBVIOUSLY! You should come over! I'm actually kind of bored to be honest, I dunno what to do. Please?" Mallow asked shyly, hoping that it wasn't a weird question at this time. There wasn't a hesitation in his answer.
"Oh whatever,....yeah I'll come over, be there in a bit-"
'Hey, black boy! You shouldn't be walkin' around at this time of night with no shirt on!'
Mallow froze, not recognizing that faint voice. She furrowed her eyebrows, feeling confused but somewhat....frightened at what the person had said to him.
"..Kiawe, what was that?.." Mallow asked, her voice somewhat wavering.
"Just a couple of fags, that's all. Hold on."
That was the last thing he said before she heard a bunch of movement, then silence for a few seconds until she heard shouting again.
"Kiawe? Kiawe!" Mallow yelled, hoping that he'd hear her voice. Maybe he meant to hang up, but all she could hear was a bunch of words she couldn't exactly make out just quite.
She waited nervously and scared for a few minutes, hating that she didn't know what was happening. Mallow buy her lip, staring at the top of her desk hoping to get a reply.
'BANG'
Mallow's eyes instantly widened, her body slightly jumping from the frightening sound that sounded like-!? No, it couldn't be-!
'BANG!'
No, it WAS, it was what she exactly had in mind.
She heard footsteps running away and random people screaming in the background, but it hearing the voice from Kiawe.
'Please don't tell me what I think it is...Dear Arceus please-!..." Mallow thought as her hands started to shake, her body not being able to sit still.
"Kiawe!! What, w-where are y-you?!? KIAWE!!" She screamed through the phone, but didn't get a reply. She heard a woman start to scream about calling nine one one, and she immediately ran to the door with her phone, shoving a pair of her tennis shoes on and sprinted outside.
Mallow ran out of the Pokémon school dorms and onto the field to see a overview of a section of the island, and she saw a little commotion around the street by the beach.
With no hesitation, she ran down the roads, not giving a crap if a few cars had to wait or honk at her, she didn't want to believe what she thought she heard.
"Scuse me-!" Mallow yelled, having a loving couple split from holding hands since she ran right through the middle of them.
She heard sirens blaring in the night, so she ran faster, skidded around a corner of a shop to the street by the beach area. More people had gathered in the night, somewhat surrounding in an uneven group, more of them screaming at the scene.
"I can't believe he was shot! I heard it from my shop and I saw two guys run the opposite direction!" A random fat man commented, grabbing Mallow's attention.
"Shot?!? Who?!" Mallow yelled, desperately tapping the mans arm for an answer. The fat man pointed to the direction of the street. "That innocent young man over there!"
"Thank you!" Mallow quickly gasped, then shoved her way past some people before being able to see the person on the ground.
No, no, NO!
It can't be. No, what?! NO-!!
"KIAWE!!" Mallow shrieked, tears spilling down her face as she ran to her best friend, the closest person that was always there for her, the one she couldn't help but have more feelings for than anyone else-!
Policemen immediately started to get out, making some people back away from the scene. An ambulance came skidding around the corner, coming to a complete stop right next to Kiawe that was laying on the ground cold.
Mallow kept running towards him, but was immediately stopped by a police woman that grabbed her by the waist tightly, making sure she couldn't escape her grip.
She was only ten feet away-!
"NO! Please, let me go! Kiawe, NO!! Let GO!! PLEA-A-ASE! NO!!" Mallow shrieked, flailing her body in the woman's arms, trying to pry herself away. She screamed as hot tears fell down her cheeks, watching a few men immediately carry away Kiawe into the ambulance, covering him with tubes and other medical tools.
She broke down and cried, sobbed, took convulsive gasps louder than she ever had before as she watched the ambulance drive away, the lights flashing brightly, the ear-wincing sirens going off. She kept screaming until it was out of sight, her body too tired to kept thrashing in the woman's arms.
The teenage girl looked back to the place where Kiawe had been, and blood had been spread on the concrete.
Mallow suddenly stopped, letting her body fall as her vision blurred, not knowing what else to do besides let the woman hug her, soothing her with caring words. She sobbed into her arms, not being able to stand on her own two feet.
"No-! Wh-why?! Why'd they do that?! He means everything to me!" Mallow sobbed, shedding tears as she climbed onto her shirt. The woman hugged her tightly feeling her own eyes start to water from the sadness the teenager portrayed.
"I'm sorry miss, I'm sorry, he's going to be okay." The young policewoman said, a few of her own tears slipping down her cheeks as Mallow couldn't calm down from the horrible, gruesome sight she just saw.
"He-...his life matters more to me than anyone else...I just...I'm scared I'm gonna lose him.." Mallow choked out, barely able to get the words decently out.
"What if he's gone?! I can't lose him now, I-I-...I really love him, I do..."
*The Next Morning*
The class was DEAD SILENT.
Lillie couldn't even open her mouth to say any words. A tear slipped down her face.
"Are you-Are you serious, professor Kukui?! That CAN'T be true!" Sophocles said, not believing his ears.
Lana's lip quivered, hugging Popplio close to her in sadness. "He's never done anything to deserve this." She quietly whispered, not knowing if the class heard her or not.
Ash held his breath, feeling hot tears roll down his face. How could-WHY would anyone do that to him?! He was one of the strongest trainers he's ever known, he just couldn't believe it at all-...
Professor Kukui looked to the ground, wishing that it wasn't true what had happened to his student. "I'm sorry, all of it's true. We won't be having any lessons today, this will just be a comforting place for you guys."
The four students looked down at their own desks, wondering what could've cause such a thing to ever happen.
*With Mallow*
She waited in a chair, hugging her knees, her coffee untouched that sat on the table next to her. The policewoman had gotten her a room for the night there, and she was so grateful for how nice she was. She helped her get a meal, a shower to freshen up, and a healthy nights sleep, even if the only thoughts she had were occupied by the one person that she didn't want to leave.
Looking down at her phone, Mallow scrolled through countless pictures of her and Kiawe, some of them were group pictures, but most of them were just the two of them having fun, snapchatting each other while Professor Kukui or Principal Oak was teaching a lesson, taking cute selfies, having fun with her favorite person.
They did spend a lot of time together.
It was the best time she ever spent with someone so...special.
But now...
What if she never gets the chance to tell him that? To confess her true feelings, the chances she never took because she was scared of rejection...
Now it might be too late because she's scared of losing him forever.
Mallow closed her eyes and rested her head on her knees, frightened by the future to come.
She finally decided to get up, throw away the coffee she never drank, then walk towards the room Kiawe was in. Her heart beat was throbbing, her breath was cut more short from her air tube closing slightly.
Touching the glass with her fingers, she gazed over Kiawe through the window, not even knowing the feelings that were trapped, clawing at the insides.
"Please be okay Kiawe..." Mallow whispered, a tear drilling down her right cheek and falling to the ground. She shut her eyes closed, the sight unbearable to her, silently crying and holding back more sobs, tears ran down her face once again as she clenched her hands together to prevent them from shaking any more than they currently were.
He laid there, most of his body under a sheet besides his neck, several tubes connected to his arms and chest. His body was motionless, instead of the lively, athletic one she grew to know all too well. It's funny how ironic it was, she missed him when he was right there in front of her...
A nurse walked by, seeing Mallow by the window watching him. "Visiting hours are open, would you like to go in? He's currently in critical condition, but you're allowed to see him as long as you signed as a visitor."
Mallow nodded her head. "I signed in. Could you let me in please?" The nurse smiled at her and opened the door for her to go inside.
After she walked in, the nurse politely closed the door and walked off, leaving Mallow alone with Kiawe. She grabbed a spinny chair and wheeled it next to his hospital bed, adjusting the height so she could rest her arms on the edge of the bed.
She stared at his face in sadness, admiring the beautiful features that made him. Every couple seconds, a beep would go off, keeping up with his heartbeat.
Mallow raised her right hand and touched his cheek slightly, wishing and praying to Arceus that his eyes would open.
"Kiawe, I really miss you. Remember a couple days ago, we were setting up Christmas lights in the school? That was really fun, thank you for catching me when I stumbled on a ladder step and fell, but you were there like always. I just, I don't know what I'd do without you...Please be strong, I know you're the one that can pull through. I believe in you." Mallow said, hoping that her words would somehow get through to him.
It was almost Christmas, this is the only thing she wanted, was for him to wake up. He knew her favorite song for the Holidays was "All I want for Christmas" by Mariah Carey, but what he didn't know was that it reminded her of him.
"...All I want for Christmas is youuu, baby~.." Mallow sadly hummed, holding onto his hand as she rested her head by laying on her other arm as a pillow. Closing her eyes, all she could do was think of everything she was thankful for because of him.
She prayed one last time before falling into a deep sleep, her eyes too tired to stay awake.
"Kiawe...I love you..."
*A little bit later...*
Professor Kukui brought Ash, Lillie, Lana, and Sophocles to the hospital, since they couldn't focus on anything else other than their dear friend and classmate. All four of them were devastated, unfocused, and frightened about what had happened.
"Professor, why do you think those two guys did that?" Ash asked, still not understanding how two people could hate someone because they LOOKED different. Why?!
Professor Kukui knew all to well, so he shook his head. "Discrimination comes from the heart."
They signed in and found out which room number Kiawe was currently in, so they made their way towards the exact location.
They all peeked in to see Mallow sleeping next to Kiawe, who looked like he hasn't woken up since he fainted yesterday. Lillie sadly smiled at the two, knowing too well that they were inseparable. They're always together, no matter the situation, and Mallow was a true friend. She had a feeling that she'd already be here beforehand.
"Lets leave them for a while, we can always visit later class." Professor Kukui stated, so the four of them followed their teacher to wait somewhere else.
Ash silently prayed in his head to Arceus that Kiawe would wake up, for everyone's sake.
*Hours & Hours later*
'Beep....beep....beep....beep...~' That same beeping sound kept repeating, the first thing he could hear.
"Remember a couple days ago, we were setting up Christmas lights in the school?"
Wait, why does he remember those words?...Where was he...was he dead..?
"I just, I don't know what I'd do without you..."
He recognizes that beautiful, angelic soothing voice...but..when did this happen?..
"Please be strong, I know you're the one that can pull through. I believe in you."
He felt his body in immense pain, but his left hand being softly held by another delicate one.
"Kiawe...I lo-"
Kiawe blinked several times, the bright light almost blinding him. After adjusting to the light, he looked at the ceiling for a few seconds, trying to figure out if he was even alive...
He was shot...not once but twice....
No, he couldn't be alive...was this the afterlife..?
He couldn't survive that...that's impossible..
He felt the fingers loosely holding his slightly move, so he slowly shifted his head to see an arm next to him, so he kept gazing over to see who it was-
His breath hitched in his throat...
Kiawe froze as he saw the girl next to him, sleeping while holding his hand. He glanced back and forth a few times between her hand and face, before lifting his other hand, ignoring the stinging of pain.
He lightly stroked a piece of her gorgeous green hair, then trailed a finger down her pink-flushed cheeks.
"Mallow..." Kiawe said, the only word that came to mind. Did she really stay with him this whole time? He remembers her yelling his name right as he passed out.
"KIAWE!!"
He was worth something to her...just like how much she meant to him.
There was no other girl he'd love more than her. She was so special to him, ever since they met way back in elementary school. He started liking her in 6th grade, but now he knew that his feelings were more than that, more than a classmate, a friend, even liking someone..
He loved her, there was no doubt left in his mind anymore. Kiawe couldn't stop his heart from following her, even if he'd tried in the past.
Suddenly feeling the hand that held onto his move a little bit, he watched her slowly move her head slightly, giving him the hint that she'd finally waken up. Kiawe couldn't help but smile only for her.
Mallow stretched her spine and rose her head, keeping her eyes shut from the blinding lights as she looked towards the ground and blinked a few times. She looked back up after a couple seconds-
Her heart skipped a beat.
Her breath was caught in her throat, unable to comprehend any words together. Her lips quivered, biting onto them lightly as happy tears ran down her rosy cheeks.
She gazed into the beautiful, dark chocolate colored eyes she wanted to see again, glisten right back into her emerald eyes. His hand shifted, holding onto her hand as well.
"..K-K..Kiawe..." Mallow whispered out, feeling her lips form a smile while the salty tears kept streaming down. Kiawe lifted his hand to caress her, placing his palm gently on the cheek-jawbone area, catching her tears with his thumb. Mallow grabbed onto the hand that touched her face and couldn't help but just smile, feeling grateful that he was here alive with her.
Kiawe felt a tug at the ends of his lips to curve upwards, not even realizing that a couple tears had slipped down his face too. "Mallow, thank you, thank you for staying with me."
Mallow lightheartedly laughed, shaking her head. "It's because of you. I thought I was going to lose you...I was so scared, I saw you, I could hardly sleep last night. You don't know how frightened I was. I'm just so..so glad you're okay."
Kiawe could only gaze lovingly at Mallow in front of him, his heart somewhat pounding in his chest from her delicate words, her voice as soft as an angels. "I'm sorry I didn't make it to your dorm last night, obviously I had some interruptions."
"You think? Well, I guess it's better to show up late than never at all." Mallow giggled out while Kiawe chuckled, not realizing their hands had intertwined with one another.
Kiawe shifted himself on his left side, being able to lean against his left arm as support.
Mallow slightly leaned in, still gazing into his eyes that had so many emotions, friendship, happy, grateful, lovingly... her heart at this point was racing, feeling her cheeks heat up.
Kiawe leaned his forehead against hers, closing his eyes. Her tenderly caressed her cheek with his thumb, feeling her free hand lightly touch his strong shoulder. Nothing else mattered, she was here with him, she was the only one he wanted for himself. He could hardly breath because of the moment, he didn't need anything else but her in his life.
Mallow closed her eyes as she felt him slightly tilt his head, almost gasping as his lips touched hers.
Two hearts beat together in synch, finally understanding what the other one wanted.
She moved closer, pressing her lips slightly against his, slowly moving in synch as her hands shook nervously, not knowing what to do. All she could control was her mouth, but that's all she needed to do. His kiss was so full of life, electric, it felt as if they were meant for each other because of the chemistry they had.
Kiawe was breath-taken by how soft and delicate her pink lips were, more than he had ever imagined. He didn't want this to ever end..she was the most beautiful human he's ever known, and he was kissing her. The adrenaline in his body was pumping more than any workout he's ever done in his life, his focus on her was more than he's ever focused in class or battling.
This...this is what they truly wanted...
After a few more moments before they both ran out of air, they barely began to ever so gently pull back-
"HEY!! KIAWE YOU'RE ALIIIIVE!!!!" Ash yelled, slamming the door open and scaring the two teenagers shitless. Pikachu sweat dropped at his trainers dumbness, just by looking at the pair.
Mallow immediately pulled back, her whole face beat as red as a filly ripened tomato, while Kiawe's cheeks flushed with redness.
"Ash!!! Oh gosh, I'm so sorry!" Lillie immediately said, seeing the two completely embarrassed by Ash bursting in on them..you know..it wasn't that hard to tell what they WERE doing..
"Kiawe! We're so glad you're safe!" Lana said, Popplio agreeing with her statement. Sophocles nodded his head "Yeah! Now you can say that you survived by being shot!"
"I don't think that's anything to be proud of.." Kiawe grumbled, a little angry-no, a LOT at Ash for barging in during the moment he was waiting for his whole LIFE.
Mallow giggled at him, seeing how irritated his facial expression was. She flashed a smile at him, which he flashed back a side smile quickly, but then glared back at the boy with the Pikachu.
"Kiawe, I can't tell you how relieved I am to see you awake!" Professor Kukui said, walking in and standing next to the door. Everyone smiled at Kiawe, who grumbled. "Thanks. I can't wait to be out of this hospital."
The other laughed as a nurse came in. "Well, that won't be for another few days, we've got to make sure your wounds heal correctly and that nothing else is injured."
Kiawe sighed, but looked at Mallow. "You'll be out of here in no time! I'll take notes for you in class." She said, before all of them had to leave.
Mallow smiled to herself as she walked with her classmates and teacher, blushing at the thought of the moment she had with Kiawe. She hoped he was thinking about her too.
*A few days later*
"Class is over guys! Make sure you do your homework!" Professor Kukui yelled, mainly at Ash as he sprinted out of the room, probably going to catch Pokémon again or something.
"Wow, hopefully he doesn't ask me about the homework again!" Lillie giggled as she walked out the room with Mallow. "Yeah, he never keeps track of that stuff."
Lillie looked at her best friend and raised her eyebrows. "So, what happened between you and Kiawe in the hospital room?" Mallow immediately broke out red-faced, slightly laughing. "Uh-h, well..you know...um.."
"You guys kissed, didn't you? Right before Ash barged in? You guys are too cute." Lillie finally said, parting ways with Mallow, who couldn't stop blushing about the memory.
Mallow made her way throughout the school and towards the dorms, but stopped on the field to admire how beautiful the sunset was glistening off the ocean. She saw many people still up and playing with family and friends, and she couldn't stop herself from smiling.
She heard footsteps come closer behind her, then suddenly stop. The teenager turned around to see the one she loved, standing a little ways away from her.
"Kiawe~!" Mallow dropped her bag and ran towards him, almost like a scene in a romantic movie. Kiawe just chuckled as he held his arms out and took a few steps, ready to catch her.
She leaped into his outstretched arms, wrapping her own around his neck and legs around his torso, hugging him tightly. He embraced and secured her, nuzzling his head into the crook of her neck.
"They found the two guys, they're going to court, so that means I have to go as well. They're be others who saw the whole thing, so I guarantee they'll be put in prison." Kiawe mumbled, feeling Mallow lovingly kiss his cheek and lean her forehead against his.
"I'm glad you're okay." Mallow said, smiling. Every time he was around, her heart raced, she couldn't stop it from slowing down.
Her set her back down on her feet, but wrapped his arms around her waist. "I need to confess something. I'm not very good at telling people what I feel, but I have to do this." Kiawe said, looking at Mallow in the eyes. She looked a little confused for a moment, so he took a deep breath.
It's now or never...
"Every time I look at you, my heart feels like it's going to burst from my chest. I'm not usually a happy go-to guy, but you make me feel as if there's nothing but happiness around me. I can't ever stop...thinking about you...about us...you were the last thought in my mind before I fainted. Everyday I wake up because of you, you fill my life with something I never thought of even having, and no that you have, I can't live without it. I look forward to seeing you, and before I didn't know why, but now I do. I used to try convincing myself it wasn't worth my time, but you're worth everything to me.....I-..I love you." Kiawe said, looking back down at Mallow, who's eyes shone with the same emotions he felt inside him.
"Do you really mean that?"
"Yes."
"Kiawe..I love you too."
They gazed into each other's eyes for a moment, before closing the gap between them. She rose on her tippy toes, wrapping her arms around his neck, running her fingers softly through his thick hair.
They drew apart for a second, but still kept each other closer than they ever had before. Mallow touched the scar that was on his body from the gunshot, grazing her fingers on it. Kiawe placed a couple fingers under her chin to bring her back up and gave a side smile.
"It'll just be the memory because I fought through for you..I heard your words that gave me strength. Don't worry."
"Okay, I love you."
"I love you too."
OMG THAT IS A WRAP!!! This chapter was over 5,820 words!!! I can't believe I wrote something so long..😂Hope y'all enjoyed my love for spiceshipping, go make yourself some hot chocolate and dry up those tears (Jk, but at least eat some candy!) Thank you for reading!❤️️💕 I'll most likely put this oneshot in a separate story to dedicate it too :)
