May sat on the bench of the park, Confused. She had just came from an argument with Max.

"May, you need to stop being dense sometimes! Drew is trying desperately to make you know of what-you-don't-know-missy."

"I'm not being dense, Max! And what's between Drew and I is between us! You don't need to poke your nose on our matter! We are rivals, Max, RIVALS!!"

"Yeah, yeah, May, sure. Listen: GET ON A GRIP AND THINK FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! I JUST CAN'T STAND YOUR DENSENESS MAY!" He said and stormed outside, not without hearing May's reply.

"JUST BECAUSE YOU MADE YOUR OWN CRUSH SAD DOESN'T MEAN YOU GET INTO OTHERS BUSINESSES, MAX!" Tears rolled down Max's cheek. He still remembered Her.

May stormed back to her room not caring about anything anymore. May heard a knock on the door. She sighed and walked down the stairs to open it.

Her mother and father had arrived after having visited Jhoto.

"Hey May! Where is our little guy Max?" Her father, Norman, asked putting down the luggage.

"Gone for a walk." She replied looking down.

"May, honey, you can go for a walk too you know. Since now we are home I'll take care of the house." Her mother, Caroline, said

May shook her head.

"May! You haven't given your Pokémon fresh air too, girl! Now go." Caroline said. May shrugged and went to her room to grab her pokéballs.

May sighed.

"Well, Mom did say right. Take the stage!" May exclaimed happily. All her Pokémon came outside.

"Beautifly!" Beautifly sang it's name taking a twirl and spreading it's wings for sunshine.

"Blaziken", Blaziken said before walking todays May.(May)

"Oh hi Blaziken! Hi Beautifly, Skitty and Munch- Where is Munchlax?" May looked around and sweatdrop seeing him sleeping again.

"Sorry, guys, that I didn't let you all out since so long", May said sighing.

"Today's play time, guys!! No limits and no restriction. Except one." Her Pokémon cheered but it faltered when they heard their trainer's last sentence.

"If you are going far away, come back safely. In case you're in trouble, send a sign", May explained as she wondered what she'll do in the mean time.

"Be back within four hours, guys. Don't cause trouble, okay?", she said as she saw skitty running towards the direction of the market.

Some things never change. I bet she is going for impressing the passersby again.

May started walking slowly towards a particular direction. Not sure whether or not she should go to that place again.

May was walking alone on her way to her home. She had planned a secret visit for her family after so long time! Of course she was excited! But her excitement died and her face was convulsed with fear as she saw a wild roselia or that she thought, deeply injured. She approached slowly towards roselia and smiled. Though it was hard to smile seeing such a deep scar on her head as well as deep wounds on her leg.

"Hey you okay?" May asked in soothing voice as bend down to her level. Roselia looked up, surprisedly recognising May immediately and her sad face brighten with the sight of her.

"Rosie!" (Maybe)

May looked for a cloth to cover her injury but seeing non around she immediately tore her both sleeves and cleaned her wound with a part of it. After cleaning Roselia's wound she immediately rap the sleeves around her legs.

"How do you feel?" She asked smiling brightly. Roselia smiles but if faltered soon as a dreaded look came on her face. Seeing deep in her eyes she saw what was cpminv as her own eyes widen.

May immediately picked her up and jumped 6 feet high to 5 feet left. Smoke came from where she stood before.

"What the...." She looked shocked at the fire born from her earlier position. She looked behind her and saw a man with dark green hair, blue eyes with a pikachu. He looked in his 30's and made May angry immediately to see the smug look on his face.

She gritted her teeth and took out a pokeball immediately.

"Aren't you The Hoenn Princess?" He spoke with his cold voice and laughed. He had a voice that would send shivers through anyone's body giving them goosebumps.

"I ain't known Hoenn Princess for nothing Mister." She said ready to fight.

"Wartortle come out." He said as he threw his pokeball.

"Stay away girl, That Roselia needs to learn manners."

"Sure once I'll teach you manners about attacking wild Pokemon and strangers."He laughed at May's reply.

"Sure Sure Neither your a stranger nor she is a wild Pokemon."

"Huh what do you mean?"

" Pikachu thunderbolt!" He ordered not even waiting for May to let her Pokemon out.

" Ahhhh!! BLAZIKEN FLAME THROWER!" She immediately released Blaziken and cursed inside her mind. He jumped high in the air causing him to dodge the thunderbolt and attack from high above. His own entrance style.

The flamethrower made it's way towards Pikachu. To dodge that attack he jumped up high to the level of Blaziken by using iron tail to only provide him to jump high.

When he used his attack Blaziken's Flamethrower reached the ground at the same time when the impact of iron tail was made on the ground

'Double boost!' May smiled looking at the ground. Wartortle feet were burnt as he jumped up in pain. While above pikachu was at the same level as Blaziken with a smirk.

"Use Scratch then bite!"

That caused May to look up even taking out one more pokeball for blazikens help but she saw his determined look and thought about Blaziken's pride if he defeated them alone.

Pikachu scratch Blaziken all around his body hard enough to cause him to bleed. And while pikachu is using scratch Blaziken used flamethrower at the ground. He suddenly grabbed Pikachu before he could use bite and threw him down. Blaziken landed after pikachu fainted.

The hot land was calmed down by wartortle. May's fist tighten.

"You're Good but not better than Me!"

May I hope you could hear me. I don't want to use any attack. I want to do hand to hand combat with wartortle. And as your my master please Allow me to toast that turtle like a baked turtle!

May laughed heartedly. Her thoughts were distracted enough to not hear the next move.

"USE SURF!" Wartortle used surf and it hit right at the chest at Blaziken and he was badly injured and it pained him double since he was already bleeding. He looked at May and saw her distracted in her own thoughts. He didn't want may to see what he'll do next.

He used Thunder on wartortle. It wasn't a normal thunder. It was mixed with fire and water. As soon as it hit wartortle he fainted. May snapped out of her thought and looked at him and smiled

She didn't knew Blaziken was strong enough to hurt the front person without using his attacks. But her pride didn't last long as she saw Blaziken collapsing on the ground hardly breathing.

The man groaned as both the trainers returned their Pokemon. But soon, a smirk formed on his lips. He grabbed May immediately.

"Let Me Go!" She said as she dug through his skin with her sharp pointed nails. May had always liked pointed nails.

But it didn't effect the man. She tried to breath atleast atleast a little but he made it impossible for her.

"Muc-Muchla-lax. F-F-Foo-Food!" She tried to say within her struggles to stay alive. The man punched may towards the ground when she realized that Muchlax was left in Petalburg only. She groaned and thought of her family crying seeing her dead body. The man slashed her face with his belt. Blood rushed out as he kicked May's stomach. She lyed lifelessly on the ground. Her eyes blinking the tears forming. She saw him slowly approaching towards Roselia with his belt.

And that was really all needed for her to get up and attack him. She rushed and punch on his back of the head and tried to snatch his belt. But his grip was strong, he grabbed May and slapped her tightly.

He threw a punch at her. May closed her eyes and was ready to feel the pain. But it never came.

She opened her eyes to see non other than her rival and _____ (fill in the blanks guys 😉) she couldn't bring to think of it at this time she looked at his face and smiled.

"Drew!" Her smile brighten as she saw Drew's hand stopping the man's punch.

But the man only smirked.

"Long time no see son."

May stood there frozen. That man couldn't possibly be his father. Drew threw a punch right at his face. She gulped, Her head felt dizzy, everything darkened around her as she fell unconscious.

May laughed when she came to the cave in the forest seeing Drew wet from water gun by His father's wartortle.

"M-May? Y-y-you came?"

"Oh is the great Andrew Stuttering?"

"Ha! As if!" He said flicking his hair.

"So June how's your Pokemon? Especially Blaziken? Is he alright?"

May faked her eyes darken and her lips mumble some words not heard by Drew. He moved slight closer to May in sympathetic manner. She looked innocently in his eyes and couldn't help but smirk. Drew's eyes had soften turned into confusion. It was cute seeing him figuring her act.

He groaned but then laugh.

"You really thought I'll fall for your Acting?" Drew Said laughing.

"No i thought you'll fall for the actress." She mumbled. Unfortunately for her Drew did hear that but fortunately, he didn't said anything.

May woke awake to see her in the cave nearby.

"Oh thank God your awake!" Drew's voice rang in her ears. She could make out the worried tone of his.

"You...were worried about me?" She asked looking right at him. He couldn't help but find her innocent look cute.

He chuckled
"So you fall for my Acting?"

"You....acted... oh.... WAIT!??!WHERE THE HECK IS THAT MAN?!?!" May got up but whinewip held her.

"Huh?!?!" She looked behind to see a worried roselia. Then it hit Her, it was Drew's roselia. She even say Pikachu and wartortle there.

"Why are they there. And roselia you better?"

"Thanks May" May turned back to face Drew.

"For what? I did nothing. I should be the one thanking you."

"No I-" he couldn't speak any words as May hugged him. A blush creeped out his cheeks and he coudln't be more glad that May could not see his face. While on the other hand May was as red as a tomato.

"Thanks Drew" she said still not wanting to break the hug. Both stayed like that for sometime until someone or shall I say someone's decided to break their hug.

"Team Rocket Blasting off again!"

They break their hug and looked outside. May looked at Drew after The TR wasn't seen.

"So care to explain?"

It took some time for Drew to process in what she was saying.

"Well my dad hated me being a coordinator. He killed mom and that day I ran away with Budew. And when I came for the Petalburg contest, it turned out he was there too. And after my life, That time when he was hunting me down I came to know that my mom was killed by him. He then targeted roselia and You. Since you came In between them. I saw the whole thing but.....was too afraid to come out...

And after you fainted I... became angry and mad and savage and I.....I .....k-ki-" May immediately hugged him not caring for him to complete his sentence. She could make out what happened next herself.

"May I couldn't control myself. I-" he was cut off as May kept fingers on his lips.

"I know" she said in the sweetest voice possible to hear by Drew without fainting.

Rain drops started falling and thunder roared across the sky.

"Huh. Looks like I better leave now." May said.

"As if! You're not going alone at this time during a storm."

May needed to leave immediately but she couldn't think of a good reply. She looked at roselia with pleading eyes. She sighed and used sleep powder on him.

"Well why did you leave that time during the storm May?" His face turned serious.

May grinned and laughed.

"Drew cause I knew you're a stubborn guy and won't let me go alone. People could get the wrong idea you know."

"That's not true" he said in his defence.

"Oh yes, since you like me for you they'll have the right idea Mister."

"No it's not like t-" he stopped in mid sentence sentence processing what May said.

"You knew..??"

" I know"

" That I....I ..."

"That I like you and you like me. Drew I'm not dense in these matters atleast. I didn't want to hurt your feelings so I stayed quiet and don't think I played with your feelings. I didn't want to spoil our friendship. Plus I didn't knew that you liked me until Wynaut case or before that when you saved Ash and Brock. I had a doubt when you said 'Something like that'. But I figured it out soon enough anyway." May explained slightly nervous.

"Girls are complicated."

"Well we are the God of Emotions." She said giggling at Drew's helpless expression. But soon it was covered it with a smug look.

"You said that you like me. So you going out with me?"

"Sure! But I first need to collect my Pokemon from their freedom play."

"Well Roselia and all others will tell them we won't be back till long." He said releasing all his Pokemon and gave them a break to enjoy themselves.

May saw them jump happily and rush outside the cave with other two Pokemon.
Drew lifted May bridal style as she laughed happily.

"Alright my princess time to leave."
