I stepped off Charizard, petting his head as a thank you. His head felt warm, as usual. He let out a growl of pleasure, then flew off quicker then a bullet train. The force from him brushed my hair all over my face. I sweeped my hair back under my cap, grinning like the idiot I was.

It's Lillie's birthday today. And lemme guess...you don't know who Lillie is, right?

She's probably the most amazing girl I've ever met in my life. She's like the rainbow after a rain storm, just the thing to brighten your day. She's beautiful, inside and outside.

In case you didn't know or couldn't tell from my explanation, I have...Feelings...for her. I decided to get her a cake, go to Aether Paradise, and then confess my feelings to her. That was my plan, and I hoped it would work.

As I walked into Aether Paradise, I was greeted with friendly faces and handshakes. I grinned at everyone I passed, then I stepped on the elevator. After swiping a keycard, the elevator took me to Lillie's room, and Gladion's. Thank Arceus Gladion wasn't here...

I knocked on Lillie's door three times, and she opened it. She had her platinum blonde hair in her usual ponytail, and her white-and-blue sailor outfit.

"Hey, (Y/N)! What's up?" she said, awfully cheerful. I hid the cake behind my back. Not yet. Start a normal conversation with her...

Me and Lillie had to have talked for about 30 minutes...then it was time. To give her the cake. To confess to the love of my life.

"Happy birthday, Lillie!!" I said. I handed her the cake, and she smiled.

"Oh my goodness...! Thank you so much, (Y/N)!" she said. Lillie pulled me into a long hug. Her warm body pressed against mine, making me smile with joy.

"Blow out the candles and make a wish!" I said. I'm so glad she likes it! Lillie closed her eyes for a minute.

"I wish for (Y/N) to have a happy life full of wonder and excitement!" she said, blowing out the candles.

I blushed at that.

"A-And before I go, I-I wanted to tell you something..." I said, crossing my fingers.

"Hm? What is it?" she asked. A million thoughts rushed in my mind.

"I should have planned out exactly WHAT I was gonna say...." I thought.

"Lillie..." I gently took her hand and gave it a kiss. "I love you. Ever since I met you, I've fallen for you. Literally. The day I first met you, I fell...remember that? Please...Will you be my girlfriend?" I said, a little quieter then usual.

There. The bomb had gone off. Lillie looked into my eyes for a minute, then kissed me. "Of course! Ever since you saved Nebby, I fell for YOU!" she said.

I felt my face get hot and red. She giggled. "Don't be embarrassed. I love you too." She said softly, nuzzling her head into my chest.

Before I could get another word out, I heard quiet mumbling. It was coming from...right next to me?! "Huh?" I turned to see Gladion there. "Gladion?!?! What the-?"
