"Do you think Dawn will accept my feelings? Or my roses? Or-AGH!!! I'M JUST SO NERVOUS!!" I questioned my friend, Brock. My hands were trembling like a leaf on a windy day.

"Calm down, Ash. It's just a girl. Be a man and tell her!" Brock said.

"Easy for you to say, your not the one TELLING her!" I said.

"Trust me. I'm the love expert! Ladies love-" Brock was interrupted by the loud voice of Paul.

"You've been rejected by Nurse Joy, like, 500 times. Your not the expert here, I AM!" he said, putting a foot on Brock's back.

"Help me," the Rock-Type trainer groaned.

I sweatdropped. First of all, where did he come from? Second of all, I didn't think Paul was good on girls.

"Look, kid. She's gonna accept ya flowers. Just be a man and do it!" he said, slapping me on the back. That's literally what Brock just said, stupid...

"Okay..." I inhaled. This was it. Now's the time to tell her. I have to do it! And the time is right now!

"Hey Ash! You wanted to meet me her, right?" Dawn said. She ran her hand through the crystal clear water coming out of the fountain, and then turned back to me.

"Y-Yeah..." I hid the roses behind my back. Thank Palkia and Dialga she didn't see them. Waterfalls of sweat poured down my head, and I was drowning in my own thoughts.

"Do it...come on, Ash..." I thought.
Dawn tilted her head in utter confusion.

"Are you okay? You look..si-"
"Dawn!! Okaypleaseaccepttheserosespleasepleaseplease. Ihavefeelingsforyouandihavewantedtotellyouforever. Soiboughttheserosesforyoupleasewillyoubemygirlfriend?!" I was out of breath, and panting. She held the roses in her hand, staring at them for a minute. For once, she didn't move a muscle. She had no emotion on her face.

"Oh boy..." I thought nervously. She's gonna reject me, isn't she?

She tossed the roses up in the air, hugging me tight.

"Of course I will, Ash!!" she said, smiling. Her smile shined like the brightest stars, and lit a spark inside of me.
"Yes~" I thought. Victory! She let go of me and pecked me on the cheek. I blushed lightly, then held her hand.

"I love you, Ash."

"Love you too, Dawn."
