I'm sorry it took so long.

Ash felt like crying. His Unovan journey was truly ending. He still had things he wanted to say and do. Ash was about to say good-bye to his Unovan friends in Vermillion City. He wasn't sure if he'd ever even see them again. Ash wanted to continue traveling with Iris and Cilan.

"Hey, it's time to go," Alexa said, cheerfully. Ash ignored her. He felt like his heart was about to burst.

Without warning, Ash ran at top speed towards the train. He blocked everything out, focusing only on the goal at hand. Cilan and Iris looked understandably surprised at this act.

"Uh, Ash? What are you doing?" Iris asked. Ash smiled.

"I wanted to continue traveling with you." He stated. "I- um, I don't really know how to say this, but I like you." Ash was blushing slightly. Iris looked shocked. Cilan just watched the exchange.

Iris kind of smiled. "I like you, too. I'll be glad to travel through Johto with you." Ash breathed a sigh of relief. This journey was going to go just fine.
